Synopsis
The “Death Investigation Extension (D.I.E.)” in the police force was established to accommodate those who have been sent away by their supervisors. As everybody knows, members of the Extension are to investigate unsolved cold cases. YUE CHI-LONG (Roger Kwok Chun On), who has cracked a large number of difficult cases by extrasensory means, is assigned to the D.I.E. believing that he will get promoted soon. Later LONG finds out that his supervisor still has a long way to go before he reaches retirement age. Hoping to leave the Extension as soon as possible, he gets to solve a lot of intriguing cases. New appointee YING CHING-CHING ( Sonija Kwok) is a good-looking girl but she means to act tough and sassy in front of others. She takes an uncompromising stand over every case she deals with, which leads her into constant quarrels with LONG. The relationship between the pair is deteriorating day after day.
LONG’s elder sister, YUE CHI-CHING (Margie Tsang Wah Sin), has been living with him. While investigating an old case, LONG gets to find his long-lost father YUE TAI-HOI (Bryan Leung Ka Yan). Through close collaboration with LONG, CHING-CHING has gradually developed affection for him. As she is still torn between LONG and her two-timing boyfriend SHING KA-TSUN (Kenneth Ma Kwok Ming), LONG has started to try to avoid her without rhyme or reason. Feeling so confused about what is happening, CHING-CHING decides to do some probing and is shocked to discover that LONG has been dogged by a female ghost called SIU SIN ( Kitty Yuen)…

yeah.. is another nice and great series, fr Roger Kwok lo..haha, i always watch preview at Astro on Demand, sound really interesting and tis time, Sonija, played different type of character, seen like interesting.. will watch tis series.. haha..

everyone should watch d.i.e, that is a must see series because it is an investigation/cop series plus its so funny. and it has a funny cast
I must say this show’s really nice & funny! It’s so interesting to see Sonija in that kind of role! I seriously hope she will be in the Top5 Best Actress at the end of the year during the Tvb Anniversary. Roger’s really funny in here with the “lightning strike” action.
I watch it every night…. It’s really funny. Exspecially when Yu sir spazzes when he gets his strange flashbacks…
I love to watch this movie. the storyline very funny. i didnt miss any episod.
I read a spolier yesterday. They are going to make an alternate ending because in the original ending a main character dies………..
So far this series is very funny. I hope that TVB makes more funny and great series for all of us TVB fans to watch. 😀
I’ve watching this lately…I laugh so much when Roger has his flashbacks.Roger and Sonija make a good couple!D.I.E. is so funny…I also hope that TVB makes more dramas like Survivor’s law 2 and D.I.E.

I like this series! Roger and Sonija made a great couple. They were so cute together.
But Roger shouldn’t die… it was soo sad. Thinking that its somewhat a comedy, i thought it was going to be a happy ending.
They’re also making a DIE II. I hope Roger will be in it too.. TVB producers will think of something, I hope. Because although Roger died i still want to see him in part 2. There was an alternate ending but international viewers won’t be able to see that.

I’m actually on episode 2 now, watching on mysoju. Man, I keep laughing when I see Sonija. Why is her hair SO messy sometimes? I like her neat hair better and that jacket of hers is so nice! I think I’m not quite used to seeing Roger act so smart now. I prefer his low-iq character o.o And Jessica may be a better person for Sonija’s role, even so I still support Sonija!
