I decided to post this up after getting the clear CD version of Moses’ song and since Moses just came to Sydney=)

As I was translating the English lyrics for the song, I can’t seem to relate the song to Moses’ character in The Ultimate Crime Fighter. Most likely I think it would have been after Gigi and Moses broke up and Gigi went in a relationship with Kevin or after Gigi died..because only then did Moses really start going insane and showed how deeply in love he was to Gigi.

[Moonlight Resonance] Episode 21 Thoughts

Linda sees the cake and is shocked, however she sadly replies, thanking him for being such great brother to her and loving her as his sister. She indirectly rejects him this way, giving up her feelings for him because she started to develop feelings for Bosco. Poor Ah Ho! If only she saw the cake earlier…From what I’ve seen up to now though, I wouldn’t think Linda would have liked Bosco more than Raymond, but more like forcing herself.

When Linda goes to find Bosco, she finds out that he took 10 days leave.

When JoBao finally called home, Tavia couldn’t help but to blurb out the truth! However HorMa made her take her words back because she didn’t want the matter to get bigger and affect Grandma’s health. Omg..this episode continues to get really frustrating and annoying! I hate Ah Gong!!!!! He has got to be the worst MR character in the entire series ! Under AhHong’s orders, Ah Gong deliberately brings out the issue, saying Tavia has accused him and denying he never did such a thing.

Tavia had to swallow all the accusations and reluctantly apologise to him to cover up the matter. I liked that little moment where Moses apologies for Tavia :)However, again and again Ah Gong wanted to make the issue big and kept biting at Tavia, saying an apology wasn’t good enough ><!! He kept complaining and whining like a baby and I would cringe every time I saw his face -_- ! Poor Tavia…her character always has it bad. First she gets accused for ‘lying’ about Ah Gong not letting them contact JoBao, and then we have Sa Yi hogging her room after she made a huge fuss about making a spare room for her daughter Ga Mei (Kate) who will be returning and moving in soon.

I loved the confrontation scene where HoMar and Grandma finally spoke out! It turns out that Grandma already knew Ah Gong was indeed the one stopping JoBao from returning, but she wanted the matter to die down and let it pass, letting Ah Yuet take all the blame. However, Ah Gong constantly took out the issue and finally, Grandma slaps him! 😀 yay!

Grandma apologises to Ah Yuet for being selfish…aww….

At the end of the episode, HorMa helps Tavia and Fala get their room back from SaYi! =D
SaYi: (to the kids) Don’t touch my things! Sister, why are you moving my things into your room??
HorMa: You’re moving in to share my bedroom. If we’re not moving your things to my room, where do we move them?
SaYi: Didn’t I already tell you before that I can’t share a room with you? Once I do, I’ll start getting depressed (thinking about her ex-husband).
HorMa: That would be good then. You’ll be sad, I’ll be sad. We can be hurt together, it’ll be good company.
SaYi: It’s not like we’re having a division for abandoned woman. You’re one, I’m one, so you want two of us both to be crying together every night?
HorMa: Yea, both of us crying quietly in one room, we won’t disturb the others. This arrangement is good.
SaYi: In midst of sleeping, I would suddenly think of the jerk and I’ll get up and start singing ‘Fun Fei Ying’ and I would sing really loud too!
HorMa: Wow, you like singing to deliver your message? I’m like that too! But I’m more updated than you. I like to sing ‘Woman that are easily hurt”, “living happier than you”, “You won’t have a good ending”- those ones.
SaYi: Did you eat the wrong medicine? Fine! You all won’t have a good ending!

This scene was quite funny, HorMa always has her way an SaYi didn’t have anything else to say back to her lol

Sa Yi’s daughter Ga Mei(Kate) is going to appear in the next episode..somehow ..I fear…

[Moonlight Resonance] Episode 20 Thoughts

This episode was quite exciting!

Grandma becomes hospitalised and when Ah Gong calls Ah Hong to tell her the news, Ah Hong deliberately does not tell JoBao! Everyone wanted to contact JoBao but they couldn’t get to him >< Grandma’s condition was so bad that she might be ‘going’ and she really wanted to see her son, but Ah Gong kept insisting to his mother that they follow Ah Hong’s order and pretend they don’t have their contact number. Tavia overhears the conversation between Ah Gong and his mum and she tells HorMa. When HorMa tried to question and force out Ah Gong’s mum’s conscience in giving her the number, the stupid annoying Ah Gong appears and stops her, dragging his mum into a car and convincing her not to tell >< He tells his mum that he’s stolen the company’s money and that he’ll go to jail if Ah Hong comes back and finds out.

When Raymond and the others find out Ah Hong has given her contact number to Ah Gong, they start questioning Linda for the number.

Raymond: Ah Chau, are you sure you really don’t have another number?
Linda: I already said before, I don’t.
Grandma: Ah Chau, if you do know, please tell us.
Chung-Jai: Yea, give us the number, don’t lie to us.
Fala: Ah Chau, Grandma really wants to see JoBao.
Moses: Did Hong Yi tell you not to tell us?
Linda: No, I really don’t.
Raymond: You’re the closest person to her, she doesn’t give it to you, but gives it to Ah Gong and his mum?
Linda: How should I know why mum would so such a thing? Now Grandma is like this and JoBao can’t come back, you think I’m really happy??

*Linda runs out of the room and Raymond chases after her*
Raymond: Yu So Chau, I’m sorry I didn’t mean it that way. I’m not saying you’re hiding it from us. I just acted on an urge, I really wanted JoBao to come back.
Linda: I’m not angry, Grandma is now like this, everyone is in a bad mood, I understand. I need to work now, I’m fine really, you go back and accompany Grandma.

Bosco sees the crying Linda and goes to comfort her as she confesses her feelings to him.

Linda: I really hope mum doesn’t know anything about this matter. But facts are telling me, it’s possible that she does. It’s possible that she’s deliberately not coming back; not letting Dad see Grandma one last time…Why was I angry at GoonGaJai (Raymond) for? Why would mother give her number to her husband’s cousin and Aunty and not me? I am her biological daughter. I shouldn’t have blamed him for suspecting me..why am I angry for? Brother (Bosco), I’m really scared. I’m really scared Grandma will really go and dad won’t be able to see her for the last time.

When Grandma’s condition started going worse again, she spoke of things in the past and starts saying how she can see all the other people who have died a long time ago >< Luckily HorMa  tricks her, saying Raymond, Moses, Fala all have a boyfriend/girlfriend and that she must hang on to see their joint wedding! HorMa continues to yelling at her and telling her not go to and to wait for AhJo!  Because of this, Grandma survive the battle!! =D Grandma is really grateful towards HorMa and I really do hope Grandma will be on HorMa’s side now ^__^ Grandma tells everyone not to tell her son about her condition though because she is fine now and doesn’t want to make him worry and come back from his holiday now. In hope it will not affect Grandma’s condition negatively, HorMa asks AhYuet & the rest not to tell Grandma or JoBao about Ah Gong’s evil doings.

Again in this episode, things between Raymond and Linda do not go so well, or perhaps just more favourably for Bosco. When Grandma is dying in hospital and Linda cannot contact her mum, she becomes extremely upset and scared and Bosco comforts her.

Adding to that, when HorMa asked Raymond to bring Tracy to see Grandma to pretend she was his girlfriend, Linda appeared to have taken it as if it was for real and was unhappy to see her with him.

After Grandma was recovering, Raymond makes a cake for Linda with “I love Yu So Chau” on it in hope tell her his feelings.

Unfortunately, just before Linda was about to open the cake, Bosco takes her out again and she doesn’t see the message, spending more time with Bosco.

She tells him that she shouldn’t think about it ( her first relationship with Raymond) anymore, and just be happy being  be the ‘Chau‘ from ‘Ga Ho Yuet Yuen Heng Chung Chau‘

While Linda and Bosco were having a great time together, the scene is contrasted with Raymond who is thinking about Linda and wondering how she would react to seeing his present. He was waiting for her response/reply …while Linda appears to have fallen in love with Bosco! *sigh*

Linda only sees the cake when she gets back…..I wonder how she’s going to respond!

[Jadeworld Carnival 2008] Moses & Tavia in Sydney!

I’m back from the 2008 Jadeworld Carnival Full Moon at Hurstville ~ and got to see Moses and Tavia!! They only made a short appearance (maybe less than 1/2 hour?) but I found it overall to be an enjoyable experience ^_^

Due to wet weather, the TVBJ Carnival changed locations to indoors at Civic Centre @ Hurstville. I was quite happy with that because I can’t imagine how bad it would be to be standing in the rain and cold all day! Since it was indoors, we also got seats at the higher level so that was another bonus. It was pretty good view and there weren’t that many people so there was no pushing or shoving. Only thing is the photos I’ve taken with my camera weren’t that good quality ^^; and the lighting is pretty bad since it’s indoors. Nevertheless, I’ve uploaded them to share! I’ve also made video recordings, including their singing!

When the host asked who we wanted to see most, everyone yelled “Chan Ho!”  When asked who else we wanted to see, everyone yelled “Yeung Yi” haha..Moses is more popular!

Tavia appears first, saying about how warm and welcome she felt from the crowd, like she’s in HongKong! She asks everyone if people knew who she plays in Moonlight Resonance and the audience replied “Ah Yuet!” Tavia then asks what her other name is  ‘First word -Lor...’, everyone replies “Lor Lui!” Tavia laughs saying how people would actually call her that ^^ She sang two songs- one in Cantonese and one in Mandarin (I like her voice!) and came down to the audience to shake hands. Someone even gave her a bunch of flowers! Tavia was saying she was feeling really cold, but feeling quite hot after her performance lol

After that, Moses comes outs and he kept saying “I love you!” to the audiences ^^ and people yell back “Liu Bek Yi” (Bernice Liu) haha~ that was funny!

He expressed that when he came to Australia the first time, he didn’t have many fans  (awww...) so he’s really happy now to see the crowd^^ Moses also sang a mixed variety of songs together and jumped down from the stage~ but I was a little disappointed he didn’t sing his “Put Me to Death” (The Ultimate Crime fighter Sub themesong). At the end he said it again, “I love you all, and I mean it” (In English) XD

Moses tells us that he has just finished a coffee show and started filming 2 series but didn’t leak out any further information. I loved it every time he made reference to Ah Ka and Moonlight Resonance! ~about investments and then a little bit about his love triangle between Kate and Tavia. He asked the audience who they wanted Ah Ka to end up with~ Ah Yuet or Ga Mei and invites Tavia out again~where the audience yells out ‘Ah Yuet’!

Moses: But she’s my sister
Tavia: So what!? (In English)
Someone from the audience: Go for it anyway!

And finally, they mention that the ending of MR should be satisfying!

After that, the two played games with some of the audiences and the event concluded shortly after with the autograph session. I went there pretty late so I couldn’t get a ticket for the autograph session, but oh wells, I’m happy for meeting them! =D

[Moonlight Resonance] Episode 19 Thoughts

Ah Hong plans to go on a two year holiday with JoBao and cut all his connections and contacts with everyone else(especially his children). Ah Hong does many things to make the trip go ahead; using her ex-husband to get JoBao angry and convincing Grandma it was the best way for Ah Hong to mend her relationship with her husband. Ah Hong and Grandma later find out that Grandma also has another heart problem but kept this secret from JoBao.

When JoBao went over to HorMa’s house, it’s sorta sad to see that JoBao really missed his children and didn’t want to go, especially not that long =(  The children were also really sad and disappointed and really didn’t want him to go. The talk started from some joking around as to the many ways JoBao can kill off/ditch Ah Hong during their trip XD Very ‘evil’ but funny, especially seeing how excited JoBo was, from what he suggested and what was being said lol. Later the talk changes into serious and emotional. JoBao expresses that he feels really bad and guilty for being the father he was, and started pushing his children to tell him honestly what they think of him, expressing themselves in any way they feel like because that’s the only way he can feel better…

Ah Ho: I really hate you. Back then when HorMa fell down, where were you? At the hospital I saw HorMa hurt so much she bit onto her lips until it was bleeding. You? Where were you? Where were you during that time!? I was still young back then, or else I would really go beat you up.
JoBao: No, it really wasn’t like this. When HorMa fell down I was feeling really sad inside. I really wanted to bring money for you, but then afterward-
HorMa: Don’t say anymore.
JoBao: Ah Hor, just let them say everything, I will feel better, go say..Ah Yuet(Tavia), you usually dare to say anything, you say something first.
AhYuet: Ok! I will. I’m an adopted child. I always didn’t know how to repay you and HorMa. Every year I only have one birthday wish and it’s to wish you both well. But ever since that time, I want things bad for you. I don’t like you! I want you to get what you deserve(retribution)!

AhHing: I can’t speak, but I’ve never blamed anyone. My only complaint to god is why I have such a lowly father!
JoBao: You’re all right.. I don’t have the right to be someone’s father.
AhKa: JoBao, back then I was only 16. The first time I followed you back home, you said a phrase- I’ll remember it for the rest of my life. You said to me ‘Ah Ka, it’s late now, go back to your room and sleep, I’m going back to sleep with your mum too.’ Who is my mum? I only have one mum, and that’s HorMa! I really hate you! I hate you more than that bad woman!

Chung-Jai: JoBao, I really hate Manchester! But I’d rather stay there than to see you!
Grandpa: You..you are such a jerk, I really don’t know what my daughter owes you! Since young she has always been smart and beautiful, why do you have to do this to her!? Why? No one will feel bad for you!*starts punching him*

Ah Ho: Grandpa, that’s enough. JoBa, if none of the things happened, how good would it be now?

JoBao: GoonGaJai..sorry…
Ah Hing: JoBao, don’t go…don’t go travel the world. Don’t leave us again and again.
JoBao: Sorry AhHing, I’m sorry..
Ah Yuet: JoBao, can you get back with HorMa?
JoBao: AhYuet, I’m sorry, Sorry, Ah Ka, Chung-Jai, sorry, father, I’m sorry, I’m sorry to you all, I’m sorry..

All the children ended up getting drunk and sleeping together in the living room. When Ah Hong attempted to call JoBao, HorMa answers the phone and tells her to leave him to spend more time with his children. Haha, that made Ah Hong so angry XD

The next morning, all the children and HorMa tell JoBao that they forgive him =) awww...

And so, JoBao and AhHong go off on their holiday and she secretly gives her number to Ah Gong and his mum so they can report things to her. When Grandma sees Raymond with Tracy, she gets excited thinking she was his girlfriend and started climbing up stairs in hope to catch up to them, but ends up fainting and falling unconscious! ><

On the other hand, things don’t seem to go all so well with Linda and Raymond. Maybe it was the wrong timing because there doesn’t seem to be much luck. When Raymond tells her how he really felt about their first relationship she wasn’t listening to the phone. When Raymond asked her if she wanted to have dinner together she was getting off work late that day because she was doing an operation. Later after work, Linda drove to the Cakeshop and was contemplating whether to find him or not and Raymond sees her back facing the cakeshop. A truck stops between them, covering the two up and Linda ends up leaving. Raymond tried calling her but she didn’t admit being there and just went home. She seemed really happy when Raymond told her he had a present to give her on the coming Sunday…but perhaps it might also be too late. Linda spends more time with Bosco (Dr. Ling) as he takes her out again..
