Synopsis

With Administration Department manager CHE WING-HAN, VIOLET (Florence Kwok) playing office politics, the future of product designer MO NGA-LIK, ALEX (Ruco Chan) and marketing officer MAN KA-WA, STEVE (Louis Yuen) is doomed to be gloomy, no matter how much their boss KO WAI-TING, SAM (Au Kam Tong) appreciates them.

In their disappointed eyes, TING has committed every of the “Ten Sins of the Bosses”. KA-WA therefore starts up his own business with his Indian good friend INTERPAL SINGH (Gill Mohinderpaul Singh/Kiu Bo Bo) behind WAI-TING’s back. Fate has it that NGA-LIK’s girlfriend LING LING-CHING (Krystal Tin) will later join his company and with their concerted effort they fight WING-HAN off. Now that NGA-LIK is the manager and KA-WA has become the boss, they start to treat their employees badly, committing the “Ten Sins of the Bosses” themselves. MO KIN-YEE, KIN (Natalie Tong) is member of the “post-80s” generation. It is her dream to own a flat but she acts so rashly that she ends up buying a haunted apartment. On the other hand, she meets YIU YEE-LONG, AARON (Jason Chan). While she considers him to be a “great value-for-money apartment” at the beginning, he turns out to be an “uncompleted flat”…

Selena Li has always been one of my favourite TVB actresses because she looks really pretty =) As some of you may know, Selena opened up a makeup school “Technique” in 2010 but it wasn’t until only recently did I stumble across her make up tutorials on youtube! XD So brave of her to reveal what she looks like without makeup! I didn’t realise TVB actresses would post up youtube clips like that- just a little surprised.

Hi Everyone!

How are we all…? hahah. How’s the world of TVB been for you guys? Or out in the real world? ^^
Just wanted to drop by a note to let you guys know I’m alive and well. Despite my decreases in blog updates, I do visit quite often to check up on you guys 🙂

While it is a little late on my behalf- I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate MetalAZNWarrior (from TVBMusings) and TkN (Nhi) on their engagement (my two good online TVB Blog buddies)!!!! For those of you who were around a few years back on the TVB blogging community would have known them. While they both no longer run their TVB blogs,  it was TVB which brought them together– so sweet!! <3  So happy for them!!

The last message I’ve left for you guys was December 11! It’s quite scary how time flies and in a few day we’ll be in June 12 already! That’s almost half a year 0_0 I think most of us would agree that TVB hasn’t been that great to us in 2012. Most of the series have been so-so, which is unfortunately one of the main reasons I’ve been blogging less. I’m starting to lose the passion to blog because of the series..hmm hopefully something good will come up soon!

• L’Escargot: 缺宅男女: Watched bits, didn’t appeal to me much.  Saw the whole Ron/Michael Tse/Linda story unfold…can Linda’s character be any dumber? As weird as it may sound, I liked Michael with Linda over Ron.
• Wish and Switch換樂無窮 : Watched the entire series for some light entertainment. It was ok. I thought I wrote a blog entry on this but couldn’t find it..must still be in draft form somewhere…
• Let it Be Love (4 in Love): Watched bits and pieces but the storyline did not interest me at all.
• The Hippocratic Crush (On Call 36 小時): One of the better series- loved Kenneth’s character! So sweet as always haha
• Queens of Diamonds and Hearts東西宮略: Some entertainment value but had a lot of cheezy moments! Liked Roger and Fala scenes though!
• Daddy Good Deeds 當旺爸爸: I didn’t end up watching this, but have heard positive things about it being quite witty?
• Sergeant Tabloid å¥³è­¦æ„›ä½œæˆ°: Watched more than half the series but couldn’t bring myself to continue watching it. The story was dull and cliche…Michael Tse also reminded me of his Laughing Gor character
• Gloves Come off 拳王: One of the better series, absolutely loved Kevin’s character! Hopefully will post something on this soon
• House Of Harmony and Vengeance 耀舞長安 : Some light entertainment during dinner time though the storyline doesn’t capture my attention. Linda’s character is so unlikable here
• Master of Play 心戰 : Have not started watching- the synopsis sounds pretty good, but feels so eerie- should I watch?

During my absense from TVB, I’ve started and caught up to date all 7 seasons of ‘How I Met your Mother’. I don’t normally watch American TV (since I’m quite a loyal TVB watcher), but my lack of interest in TVB lately has turned me to better things XD Such a contrast to TVB..haha but I love….wait for it.…..Barney Stinson XD Season 7 Finale ended with a “woah”– can’t wait to until more episodes come out!! I’ve also started playing Diablo 3 which is bound to only get more addictive! So if you don’t hear from me and TVB..you’ll know where I’ll be lol

Sometimes I wonder if its TVB which has changed, or if it’s actually me and my perception..or maybe both?

Synopsis

Synopsis

• Linda x Evergreen Finale Snapshot

Synopsis

Passing himself off as Cheung Lai Yuen Conservatory Director KIU BO-LUNG (Evergreen Mak Cheung Ching), street musician TAI MING-BUT (Bobby Au Yeung) successfully escapes the arrest of government officers.

On the other hand, the real LUNG has lost part of his memory in a fire, and is now working as a chef at a restaurant by the name of KO YAN. LUNG invites YAN to work at the kitchen of Cheung Lai Yuen, believing YAN’s musical achievement will help him move up the political ladder. What’s more, he breaks off YAN and BIN YUK-YIN’s (Linda Chung) engagement with a view to forestalling future problem. But YIN is not a person who will give up easily. She joins Cheung Lai Yuen, where she can get closed to LUNG. She meets woodcutter LEI TSOI-SHAN (Myolie Wu) there and the two soon become good friends. The relationship among SHAN, YIN, LUNG and YAN is not actually what it appears to be due to the swap in the two men’s identities. After a long day of work, I came home to my blog to find a pleasant surprise…..it was a  message left by K2K which said

YAY!!! I suspect this song has been released for some time now, and it took me this long to find it…..haha!

I have waited forever for this song to be released in full version! It’s been 5-6 years since the series first released and I never thought they would release the full sub themesong. I searched everywhere for it back then with no luck. I lost all  hopes when they released the Love TV music albums and they didn’t include it in there. It could also be because it was warehoused at that time and not shown in HK. I love this song so much because it reminds me of the series which I loved back then. I haven’t seen it since 2006, and I may have a different opinion on it now, but it seriously got be addicted which made me start this blog 🙂

Either way, Face to Fate will always have a special place in my heart XD (and this blog of course)!

To make up for it, I’ve dedicated an entire post for it! For those lost souls out there like me, hope you can find what you’re searching for 😀
