I like the themesong to the series~ its sung by Jordan Chan and I think its quite catchy and suits the series well =) I just finished the last episode last night. The last episode wasn’t that exciting but there was a happy ending XD

Yapee!!!
I was so excited when Raymond’s debut album was released (23 November 2007)!! I’ve been waiting so long for it XD From the day it was released, download links were already distributed around the net so I listened to a few because I just couldn’t wait ^^ I loved the songs!! I knew I had to buy it to support Raymond =D I was going to purchase it from YesAsia.com but my sister offered to buy it for me as my Xmas present instead !! Thanks so much sis! I didn’t listen to the songs since that day and waited patiently to received the official thing ^^ And yesh, it finally came through the mail today!! *so excited ^^*
OKIES! It comes with this cool poster, with the lyrics of the songs printed on the back =D hehe..it pictures Raymond putting his face through a TV screen. The hands are starting to look a bit confusing ey? wheee!!

And here’s a pic of me with the cover of the album! I couldn’t choose the cover because YesAsia distributes it randomly (one out of the three), but I’m quite satisfied with this one =) Its a bit weird how the box/cover is cardboard, but hey its different ^^

And inside there’s also a booklet with lots of Raymond photos ^^

Another page~~

First thing I did was watch the two MVs that came with it~ one which I’ve seen online, the sub themesong of The Drive of Life~ featuring Linda Chung. I was surprised to see that the second MV also had Linda in it lol ehehe..the two MV seemed linked~~~Raymond was quite emotionless in the first MV ..it didn’t look like he was singing it so it was a bit bland, the second one better in that aspect I guess =)
I can’t decide which song is my favourite yet, will have to listen to it a few more times because they all sound really nice and soothing ^^ I can listen to it over and over again…ahha =D Its an awesome album and I’m just so happy at the moment lol

Finally, no requests for links to download the songs please. I won’t be putting them up to share and hope all of you will support Raymond by buying the CD!!! ^^ I might do some screenies of the MV though~ they really remind me of Alfred and Seung Joi Sum from Heart of Greed lol

Episode 28
A pretty funny/cute scene ^^ After the two got together, they didn’t tell Natalie or Maggie’s son. I guess they were a bit embarrassed to tell them, or more like didn’t know how. Besides, Maggie’s son might not accept him. So for the time being, the two decided to keep it a secret. To make it appear they are not as ‘close’, the two pretend to act more distant from each other by constantly using ‘thanks’ etc, being more polite but things just looked more obviously wrong, since they weren’t normally like that lol
Fire was hoping the ‘family’ can go to the temple together, but since Natalie and the boy said they weren’t free, Maggie made up an excuse that she had to help substitute for someone at work and Fire said he’ll stay at home and do some house chores XD They didn’t want to let them see the two went together….
In the screencaptures below, the two are talking to each other, saying they feel a bit guilty lying to their children, but it wasn’t the right time to tell them yet. The two were standing so apart that a man walking in between them hears their conversation and comments on them strangely lol ahaha~ I mean, who stands that far apart ? XD
Fire gets knocked by a person and Maggie turns around and the two are close together again.
Fire: “Much better”
Maggie: “Yup =)”

Maggie: “So where should we go now?”
Fire: “It’s late for a movie, but too early for dinner. Where do you say?”
Maggie: “Anywhere, as long as Natalie and them see.”
They both cover their faces.
Fire: “Can’t see us now yeh?”
Maggie: “Yup”
Fire: “Let’s go”
When they walk pass a sticker photo shop, Maggie said she took one with her son last time, its pretty cute and there’s lots of designs to choose from~ Both of them seemed to curious and excited, and Fire even comments that it looks fun xD Fire suggests that they go and take some together too.
Maggie: “I don’t really know how the machine works”
Fire: “It doesn’t look too hard, we’ll test it out”

Co-incidentally, Natalie is with her friend to check out the latest machine when she hears two familiar voices coming out of a machine.. lol

Fire: “oh, so its taken already”
Maggie: “it must look really ugly”
Natalie: “Dad (Fire)!? Lak-jie (Maggie)? Aren’t you cleaning stuff? Didn’t you go back to substitute for work?”
Maggie: “oh, I finished work, so just happen to pass by”
Fire: “Yeh”
Natalie: “Ah the photos are out” *and grabs the card photos*

The two become embarrassed~ At home, Natalie couldn’t help by keep giggling and teasing them.

More Screenies! I feel really sad for Moses when he sees the two together *sigh* I guess only when Gigi is with Kevin now, that Moses realises he shouldn’t have take her for granted..Even being with Kevin, Moses is the one Gigi loves.I really hope the two can get back together..
Episode 26
Kevin’s father invites Gigi over to dinner to learn more about her (knowing that their son is interested in her). His parents both like Gigi a lot and approve of the two being with each other.

Moses sees the two together but doesn’t do anything. Yoyo tried convincing him to do something and not be so stubborn.

Kevin buys Gigi a flower and tells her that the things he said to her the other night were his real feelings. He hopes that Gigi will accept him and become his girlfriend, handing the flower to her. Gigi slowly takes the flower without saying any words..

Moses sees the two from a distance..

Episode 27
Feeling depressed, Moses enters those drinking games and win and the Yoyo takes the drunk Moses back to his home. Moses ends up lying on Yoyo’s arms so she just lies there with him. He looks above at the lights which remind him of stars and Gigi. he later grabs onto Yoyo’s hands and expressing his feelings, as if Yoyo is Gigi. Yoyo realises that Moses only has Gigi in his heart.

Moses goes to find Gigi at her home and she was happy he came by. However, it turns out Moses wanted to find out about Kevin and about the case and Gigi gets disappointed. In a way, I think Moses also wanted to know about their relationship. The talk turned into another argument as Moses started suggesting Kevin is bad person while started Gigi defending him.

Another moment of confrontation, where Moses talks to Kevin about the case. Kevin tells Gigi to go into the car first, and puts on loud music on so she wouldn’t be able to hear their conversation. When Kevin goes back into the car, Kevin lies to Gigi that Moses is just bothering him because he doesn’t want Kevin to be with Gigi.

A very scary..close up of Kevin…Gigi is in such a dangerous position!
I’m not really a fan of this couple but I did enjoy watching how the two got together lol Through the series, Yuen Biao (Fire) and Maggie Siu have been gotten along really well, and their relationship just developed over time. From episode 25-ish, things were becoming more obvious..
Episode 26
In this scene, Maggie helps Fire put on some cream for the burns on his back, and he comments that it feels very comfortable.

At the police station, the people there started thinking things were going on between the two, and some of Fire’s colleagues even started teasing him. To avoid the awkwardness, the two decided not to go to work or come home from work together anymore. Natalie overhears, and warns them that there are a lot bad people around these days and it would be dangerous for her to travel alone at night. Fire decided to teach Maggie a few self defense technique to use, just in case.

Maggie got a bit confused how it works and Fire pretends to be the bad guy and grabs her from the back. Another awkward position lol

He teaches her to pull the fingers then jab him in the back, but knocks him for real.

Fire realises his heart is beating really fast.
Episode 27
The washing machine at home seems to have broken and while Fire was having a look at it, water started coming out and wetting all over the place. Without much thought, Maggie grabs a towel and helps Fire dry himself.

Back in the room, Fire realises his feelings and tries to avoid her, leaving for work without her.
In the following scene, Maggie’s son tells Fire that they were chosen from school to take part in a television show where the family is invited. Knowing it was a ‘family’ thing, Fire makes up an excuse, saying that he wouldn’t be able to attend because he’s busy at work. Maggie and his son both get really disappointed.

After solving a mini-case, Fire learns to treasure the people you love, to let the other know before it may be too late. At the television studio, Fire decides to turn up =)

Natalie and Maggie’s son go off to buy icecream, and so the two went to sit down and enjoy the view.

One of those prickly-wood thing (forgot what they’re called) gets into her fingers and Fire helps her take it out.

Maggie asks him why he came to to the studio..he tells her that he doesn’t want to run away anymore. He knows he should be there, and he really wants to be there =)
This themevideo feels really short compared to the other series, nevertheless I think it is nicely compiled =) The music suits the series well, though I tend to like themevideos with actual vocals. At least the series does have a Sub Themesong (sung by Moses Chan) which gives the series an extra touch.
