I was just browsing around TVBSquare when I came across the magazine scans from the TVB Weekly Magazines for 2007. I had only previously seen three of the covers so I found it quiet interesting seeing the different covers for various TVB series of 2007. So! I decided to pick out the TVB related ones and sort it all neatly to share =)  I thought it would be amusing to look at the characters in the series “out of character” haha..just imagine these were the alternate promotional images for the series instead. Some actually look quite appropriate, but not quiet for some others (e.g Devil’s Disciples). After, or while I am watching a TVB series, I tend to like to find out more about the actors, what they think of their own roles, behind the scene clips etc. So… here they are!

[Wars of In-Laws 2] Episode 3

Myolie and Bosco get married in this episode! I was a little disappointed how the two just got married with each other because they secretly did without Liza’s consent or knowing. It was too late for Liza to stop them so she couldn’t change the fact. I was expecting something a bit more clever.

Near beginning of the episode, Liza goes to talk to Myolie on a bus and starts suggesting that she doesn’t believe Myolie is good enough for her son. Myolie knows him for about 2 months, but Liza knows her son for 25 years. She claims that he is still like a kid and doesn’t know what he really wants.It comes down to what Myolie can really do for him and his future, that being with her cannot give him happiness and is just holding him back from his full potentials. Liza claims that she is willing to stand up for him, and sacrifice herself for Bosco but Myolie can’t. The ‘fact’ really discourages Myolie and Myolie really wants happiness for him. When she comes back home, her uncle and aunt were reading a newspaper article about the result of a rich man who went against his family’s wishes and married a poor women. Myolie starts imagining that they were the married couple and gets extremely terrified and scared.

Avoiding Bosco

After that incident, Myolie decides to avoid Bosco and leave him. Bosco realises what Liza has told her Bosco and tries to convince Myolie not to care so much Liza says as long as they are happy, it doesn’t matter the status in society. Myolie does not listen to him, coming up with excuses that she never liked him and is an undercover cop.

Bosco requests from Liza that if he’s able to make the advertisement a success, she will not interfere with what he does or who he sees. Of course, Liza makes a false promise and plans to get rid of Myolie by sending her overseas to study, to ‘educate’ her.

When Bosco is on the plane with Suki for some business trip, he remembers the fun time he spent with Myolie and knows for sure she is the one he loves and doesn’t want to give up on her.

Happy memories

This flashback is the two having a pillow fight after their first kiss in episode 2.

He wants to be a free leopard and happily leaves the plane himself and goes to find Myolie.

Myolie is working as a waitress as a restaurant (not paying much attention and often getting yelled at by her boss) and Bosco gets a man to mislead her in thinking he was the criminal the police have been suspecting the whole time. Myolie chases after the man but then loses sight of him. Bosco appears, saying that he only did that so that Myolie would see him. There, Bosco proposes to Myolie and she agrees and the two went right away to sign the papers!

The Proposal

Was this all it took for Myolie to be convinced she can bring happiness to Bosco? because he proposed to her?

The next scene was pretty funny. We see Liza at home chopping up some food while she was crying and listening to messages on her answering machine. We realised that Liza has already found out about Bosco and Myolie and is so upset she’s doesn’t turn up to work..I sort of felt sorry for her as she was walking along the beach..and Bosco was apologizing and reminding her all the things she has done for him and how grateful he is.

Unhappy “Mother In-law”

Bosco and Liza have a really long talk and he cheers her up. This is where Liza ends up with the idea of having the wedding ceremony at a beach xD Knowing that she couldn’t do anything about them anymore because it was too late, she decides to ‘accept’ reality but does not give in to Myolie that easily. She wants to ‘control’ Myolie’.

The Wedding Contract

Bosco, Myolie, Liza, Joyce (Liza’s assistant) and Myolie’s Uncle and Aunty sit together to discuss the details of the marriage and Liza even written up a contract between them!

The amount given to Myolie’s side would be $500,000, but payment is made over 10 years to ensure the marriage lasts.

1. After marriage, they must live with her mother in-law(Liza)

2.In the Liza’s sight-range/distance, they are not allowed to have any intimate contact or kiss each other etc.

3. She must give up her past lifestyle and habits, and have good taste and standards like her mother in-law.

Myolie is not happy at all lol, but her Aunty (played by Irene) agrees right away, saying it was reasonable because she was money hungry XD

The Wedding Ceremony!

The wedding ceremony seemed to go quiet well and everyone looks happy which was good ^^ Of course, as expected, there were still some vibes between Liza and Myolie, but they both pretend they get along very well and are ‘jokingly’ commenting about the other. I remember a reporter asking Liza if she had any comments to make about her daughter in-law, and she said that since Bosco married such a ‘wonderful’ wife, she has nothing to say, i.e Speechless lol (two meanings on surface and underneath ^^)

Alone time ?

Finally the wedding ceremony was over and the two thought they can have some time alone together!

The fun of it all …Liza kept coming into their room , deliberately interrupting them yet pretending it wasn’t on purpose XD

Just when they were about to kiss, Liza knocks and comes in saying that the waist massager doesn’t work and Bosco explains that it needs to be plugged in a power point ^^;

And so they continue (after Myolie locks the door), but then hears another knock on the door! Liza claims that her computer isn’t working and Bosco explains that all she has to do is restart the computer, turn it off and then back onand it should work! Liza even suggests to use his computer in their room ^^ Myolie is..very annoyed hahaha.. And so, as noticed..Bosco did not lock the door afterwards.

Bosco tries to get Myolie excited by pretending to be a wolf (or was it a leopard), but then suddenly the lights go off and Liza lifts up their blank with a torch at their face, saying something else was wrong!

I don’t know what Liza’s plan is lol I mean, its wasting her own time too and she can’t do that every night..doesn’t she get tired? ^^;

Tea for the mother In-law

I loved the part where Myolie says
Yo! Yo! Yo! Ophelia! YumCha! It was hilarious XD

[Survivor’s Law 2] Episode 3

Case 1: Ella’s friend played by Yoyo Chen has opened up a new clothing store with her designs. Eileen sues Yoyo for using the designs she claims belongs to her company. Yoyo used to work for Eileen but left and the contract between her and the company was any designs that Yoyo did during her time as employee belonged to the company. This final design was created by Yoyo on the 19th, on the day she gave the resignation letter, but the letter was not processed until 2 days later.

Result: Eileen has the right to impose a temporarily ban on Yoyo in selling that design of clothing in her store.

Hm..this episode was ok, though the case seemed a bit odd or maybe I’ve misunderstood something. I think there was a part 2 in the trial where Yoyo tried to sue Eileen back for “copying” her design which is considered intellectual property.  Kenneth ended up making Eileen admit that she had copied Yoyo’s designs..The two seemed to hate each other so much, yet why at the end did they decide to compromise, apologise and thank each other..and then open a store together? If they were so supportive of each other, why did Yoyo quit in the first place? It didn’t make much sense to me, and the characters seemed unrealistic, but I think I’ll just let it pass. I don’t understand what I’ve been watching, maybe someone can fill me in ^^;

Like SL1, I’m not liking Sammul’s character so far. He seems to have an attitude problem, or strong sense of what he believes is “right” because of the mistake he has made in SL1 and wants to get back his license so he is unable to do anything that is a bit gray. He doesn’t like the way Kenneth wanted to look at Eileen’s phone to find proof of a photo taken. His behaviour is understandable, but I tend to like the way Kenneth handles the situations. It is not “right” but its for a right purpose, if that makes any sense.

Golden Quote: “Doesn’t matter if you win or lose, as long as you don’t lose”. Wasie told Kenneth and Kenneth acted upon it, resulting in a happy ending for them both Yoyo and Eileen. I really like Waise’s character, very friendly, relaxed and ‘wise’. Howeverm I got the impression that there’s something more to the history of Waise. What happened four years ago? Is he really a witty lawyer, or was he, like Eileen, had lost his true skill and talents as a lawyer? Or am I just thinking too much?

Case 2: Kenneth’s friend who is a “magician” is sued by his female assistant for sexual harassment while he was performing his magic show.

[Wars of In-Laws 2] Episode 2

After Bosco tells Myolie that he likes her honest and straight forward personality, Myolie attempt to confess her love for Bosco again as she grabs hold of his arms. A waitress interrupts, asking what meal they would like to order and after Bosco orders, Myolie faces her and with an aggressive voice “Me Too!”(in English ehehe..silly) Myolie ends up asking about her new phone instead. She bought the same camera phone as his because she thought it would be amusing to do some video-recording clips like Bosco.

Bosco takes Myolie to do record some “great” Video-clips XD

Bosco pretends to “magically” pull the (automatic) door open as a man exits the store.

Myolie pretends to use ‘magic” and lift up the parking gate.

Bosco pulls a cloth that he used to cover Michael, and Michael “magically appears” XD

I loved this part lol I don’t know if it was intended that he was the real person, or supposedly any random guy but it was funny to see Myolie so happy to see him. How did Bosco manage to find Michael Miu playing Bowling lol

After their fun day, Myolie finally has the courage to tell him. Myolie confesses her love to Bosco and asks him to give her a chance for 3 months trial period. Bsoco actually doesn’t say anything but he seemed to be a little scared of her ^^;

Bosco tries to get Myolie “off him”, and asks his workmates to help him out, so she would leave him alone. They deliberately invite her out for a drink and also calls along his ex-girlfriend. What a height difference! Bosco deliberately spends time with his ex-, ignoring Myolie. His workmates tell Myolie that it isn’t easy being Bosco’s girlfriend.

Bosco has an idea for some magazine/advertisement with a leopard, but the idea gets rejected by Liza and he becomes a bit disappointed ( a ‘bit’ because he was used to Liza not letting him do what he really wanted). Myolie gives him encouragement, taking him to her parent’s grave as she tells him their story, and that if he really believed in the idea, he should keep trying to make it a reality. Myolie thanks him again for putting that video clip on the web, because of that, she did one thing that everyone is proud of and she hugs him.

Liza sees the two together and invites her to her house party on Saturday where she was told to wear causal. I wonder why Bosco didn’t tell Myolie afterwards to dress-up more a bit. It was obvious Liza wanted to make fun of Myolie and put her down. Liza wants Suki’s character Gloria to be paired up with her son, who is a CEO of some company. Suki was also at the party dressed up and Myolie looked so out of place, that Suki thought she was a servant and asked her to refill her drink. Liza kept emphasizing that Suki and Bosco were a perfect match, making Myolie very angry that she added a lot of rosemary flavouring in the noodles. Bosco ended up eating it and while Bosco and Suki were playing the Harp and Piano together, Bosco’s rosemary allergy started acting up on him and his lips turned really big and red XD XD ( He looked so bad and disturbing!) He screams and runs back to his room…

As an apology, Myolie gives him a surprise by dressing up as the leopard in his storyboard! I have to say I thought she looked very scary xD Because she was dressed up in black and a little mysterious looking, it reminded me of WOIL1 when Bosco had the other secret identity as the hero with a mask on.  She offered to help be in some photo shoot so Bosco could see whether his idea worked or not. In one shot when they were climbing on a tree, the people started chasing them away, saying its their private property.

Myolie lead the people away so Bosco was able to escape.

Liza makes Bosco go to some party at Suki’s place and while in the car, Bosco sees the news about the people catching Myolie dressed up as a leopard. Because of this, Myolie gets arrested and she loses her police title. I was very proud of Bosco to leave the car and run away to Myolie’s side against his mother’s wish. Myolie was by her parent’s grave extremely upset because she let them down and Bosco apologizes, saying it was his fault..

Bosco takes Myolie to one of their “spare” houses where he helps her take off the makeup. Myolie was hoping Bosco wasn’t still angry at her for adding the rosemary to his noodles. Bosco tells her that it was because of that, he was able to see Myolie dressed up as a leopard and he had the courage to present his ideas…Bosco was moved for what Myolie had did for him… the two share their first kiss with each other.

The next morning, Liza happened to take Suki to their “other” home where she tried come up with the excuse that Bosco was very sorry he had to leave to Singapore that day for an urgent meeting, so planned a surprise for her. (Of course, Liza did not even know where Bosco was!) There Liza and Joyce see the makeup-remove stuff all over the table and even Myolie’s leopard outfit XD trying to hide it from Suki…but of course, they weren’t able to hide the real people…

This made Liza extremely angry, torturing herself by riding the exercise bike to extreme speed. Bosco apologises and promises that he’ll see less of Myolie and try cheer up Suki.

The next scene, we see Myolie and Bosco having a great time dancing together when Suki takes Myolie’s spot half way. Myolie tries to “join them” but eventually gets knocked away by Suki ^^;

Sometimes I wonder what Bosco is thinking..

[Survivor’s Law 2] Episode 2

This episode focuses a lot more on Sammul’s character, and Selena appears as Sammul’s girlfriend. We learn that he actually broke up with Bernice (Jessica) about half a year later from the ending of SL1 when she went to London and another man had proposed to her. Bernice told him about it and asked whether he would come fly over to see her but he didn’t want to leave HK because he had just found a new job. Sammul chose work over love and the relationship ended there. I don’t remember Bernice going overseas at the end of SL1 but anyways... Selena works as a waitress at a restaurant where she met Sammul, who was a regular customer.

Flashback of 1/2 hr after the end of SL1. SL2 is set 3 years after SL1.

Because of Sammul’s damaged reputation in the law industry, he is often looked down upon by other Lawyers and Selena feels really bad for him, yet she feels useless because she can’t help him.

Selena appears to be a really sweet, likable girl who is always there for Sammul, and looks after him by cooking food for him to eat. I wonder if she’ll serve any other purpose in the story other than Sammul’s love interest. I was a little disappointed that she wasn’t a lawyer ^^;

When Sammul received Bernice’s email, Selena felt a bit uncomfortable and even came up with an excuse to move away and avoid seeing the email, but Sammul wanted her to stay and read the email together. Selena often looked down upon herself because Bernice was smart and beautiful and felt she wasn’t good enough for him but Sammul reassures her that Bernice was his past, but the one with him now is most important to him. The email Bernice sent was just thanking Sammul for his wedding present.

Sammul seems to be a pretty nice person too, and he really cares about the victims, hoping they’ll receive justice. We also see that Rebecca and Waise trust and rely on Sammul a lot because they know what he is capable to doing (before his license was suspended he was a laywer).

We also learn that Ella’s father actually owns the law firm’s property (and many other properties), so they hired Ella, not based on her performance as a lawyer, but because the rent they had to pay was a lot less. So even though at times it is obvious that Ella is wrong, Rebecca asks Kenneth to apologise to her instead.

Case 1:

The taxi driver (from the case in Episode 1) ‘s girlfriend broke up with him and demands to sell their home, which ownership title is under his girlfriend’s name only. For the past 10 years, the man had being paying back his future-mother-in-law $8000 for the mortgage amount for their home in hope that the home would belong to him and his girlfriend. The two were living the life like a married couple would and paid all other expenses. The girlfriend wanted to kick him out and take all the money from sale of the propery herself.

Result: The taxi-driver was seen as a owner of the property and was given his right to half of the money from its sale. Rebecca wins this case with help from Sammul.

Thoughts: I thought this case was straight forward and not hard to win.

Case 2: A rich man breaks up with his girlfriend and wants to retrieve all the gifts he has previously bought her. He even kept the receipts XD He claims that he decided to keep the receipts as proof of purchase because he has been in relationships where the girls stuck to him was because of his money. Ella was emotionally attached to the case and felt very sorry for their client because she believed that he was very devoted to the relationship, yet his girlfriend had cheated on him. The gifts had ‘sentimental values’ and ‘happy memories’ to him so he wanted to keep and cherish them. Kenneth on the other hand (who was Ella’s partner in this case) did not like him and thought it was stupid that he wanted the gifts back after giving them to his girlfriend. One particular item was a diamond ring. The opposition claims that she deserved the ring because it was a ‘verbal contract’. The rich man said that he’ll buy her a diamond ring if she was able to make a ‘certain’ cake for him.

Ella and Kenneth see the couple arguing and admitting to each other that they were cheating on each other while they were dating. When the rich man tried to hit on Ella, Ella angrily stepped on his foot and the judge saw. The judge asked the man whether he wants to sue Ella for attacking her own client and Kenneth comes up with a story that Ella was trying to teach him to dance.

Results: Kenneth and Ella find out that both the rich man and his girlfriend were players and cheating on each other. Ella got really angry for believing the man and being the spoilt bratty girl she was, Ella refuses to go to court to help him. However, her sense of responsibility shows as she eventually turns up and finding a key witness: The cooking teacher that taught the girl to bake the cake. He says that the girl never paid attention to the lessons and wasn’t really there to learn. After many lessons, she still could not bake the cake and so the told him that if he helped bake the cake for her boyfriend, she’ll go out with him. Therefore, she did not bake the cake, so she did not ‘deserve’ the diamond ring. They win and the man was able to retrieve all the presents back.

Ella and Kenneth wins the case and Kenneth wanted to do a “Hi-5” with Ella whom is not interested because she does not feel happy helping a jerk win the case.

Thoughts: I thought the case was amusing. It was ridicious how the man wanted to get back the presents he has previous bought and given to his girlfriend once they broke up..What kind of man is that?? I totally agree with Kenneth’s thoughts. The key witness at the end wasn’t unexpecting because I had predicted that she didn’t make the cake herself, right at the point they gave details about the contract. Hope there’ll be better cases coming up!

[Wars of In-Laws 2] Episode 1

I feel like I haven’t seen Bosco and Myolie in a long time! The last series I’ve seen Bosco in was Heart of Greed and Myolie in The Drive of Life, and yet both are not the main leads in the series. Seeing the two together feels new and refreshing =) Myolie looks really cute and young like her role in Legal Entanglement and I look forward to more Myolie and Bosco moments. The first episode is pretty cute and Myolie has already fallen for Bosco XD She plays a clumsy and sort of ‘dumb’, very sensitive police, while Bosco is the kind, soft-hearted obedient son of Liza who is very popular among girls. As for Liza’s character I don’t feel much for her, but she does have high resemblance to her character in WOIL1, thinks very highly of herself, always in control and extremely bossy. It’s amusing seeing Myolie and her interact.

Some Bosco and Myolie Moments:

Their first Encounter

Myolie saw Bosco looking suspicious around a bush and starts asking him for his ID, but it turns out that he was trying to hide from two girls that were fighting over him. In the argument, Bosco manages to sneak away.

Handcuffed Together- Myolie falls for Bosco

Myolie accidentally broke a vase in Liza’s office so sneaked in to replace it. There she sees someone else there in the dark and thinking it was the person who had previously vandalized the office, she ‘captures’ him by handcuffing his arms to hers, before realising it was Bosco (Liza’s son). It turns out that she just grabbed the handcuffs conveniently off the table and they weren’t hers. They were used by the company as props and had lost the keys to it awhile ago.

While at it, Myolie finds a video recording of her from Bosco’s phone, thinking he was stalking her. It turns out to be a recording from their previous encounter when Myolie was chasing after a bus to get the toy back for a little girl, which was caught between the doors on the bus. Myolie was impressed with the clip until she saw the end part where she trips over a pen and falls flat on the streets.

Myolie becomes upset, saying that she’s a disgrace to her family, whom were all polices. Myolie is an orphan because her parents have both died while on thir duty as a police. Bosco starts comforting her, saying that to him, she was very heroic and did very well, especially after witnessing the scene where she chased the bus. Myolie gets very moved saying that no one has ever complimented her that way XD They decided to go and break the handcuffs.

This scene was rather cute because Myolie wanted to hold Bosco’s hands lol and even attempted to ask him, the excuse being that it wouldn’t look like a police arresting him ^^; She doesn’t end up asking him and switches the topic to eating some food instead.

Then, the two see a dog in front of them and both try to move the other in front of them because they were both scared of it.

Myolie: You’re a man and you’re scared of dogs!?

Bosco: The police station has dogs, and you’re scared of dogs!?

Bosco ends up suggesting not too look at the dog and pretend they can’t see it lol They continue to walk by but the dog follows from behind and they start screaming and running away!

They end up in a dead-end..

Myolie: Can’t let this happen! I’m a Hong Kong police and I’m scared of a dog? Then I’m an embarrassment! I won’t be about to face my mum and dad! I’m not scared of you..as a Hong Kong police, I must protect the Hong Kong citizens!

Myolie stands in front of Bosco and starts barking at the dog, but the dog barks back even louder! Myolie’s barking turns into a soft crying sound and the dog starts running up to them. Bosco yells, and picks up Myolie and they “spin around”. There Myolie gets starts imagining that Bosco was her prince~

Bosco is so scared that his eyes are closed tightly, thinking that the dog must be biting his legs at the moment. Tt turns out the dog was eating some left over food from a lunch box in front of them..hehe..

[Survivor’s Law 2] Episode 1

I liked how the characters were introduced in the series. At the start, we see some reference to Survivor’s Law 1, a small recap of Sammul’s character, Vincent. I don’t remember much of SL1 since it has been 4 years, but I do have some vague memories of Sammul taken on the wrong path and ultimately suspended from his license of being a lawyer, because he started doing illegal things. At the end, he turns into a good person. Here, Sammul has changed law firm for a new start, meaning he has left the firm where Raymond, Myolie and Bernice were..I guess that’s understandable. I think it would have been nice to have them as a guest-star in SL2 but I guess it’s not necessary. I wonder if we’d find out what happened to his relationship with Bernice.

The series is set at the new law firm as he continues being a lawyer’s assistant. The firm is owned by a couple (I got the impression they were a married couple, but I’m not 100% sure), played by Rebbecca Chan and Waise Lee who have contrasting personalities. Rebecca plays a typical lawyer as earning money matters the most, while Waise is more laid back and relaxed, with his priorities in helping others achieve justice and happiness, that Rebecca was annoyed at how he kept convincing his clients to settle disputes out of court, which is a lot less costly, meaning less money earned.

Sammul’s first encounter with Kenneth was when he went to a butcher to give the butcher a lawyer’s letter and Kenneth was acting like a gangster. We later find out that he’s actually lawyer and his first court case was against Sammul’s law firm, going against Rebecca. The first impression she got from him wasn’t very good because of the way he was dressed. After introducing himself, Kenneth expressed his interest in joining her firm, even with less pay, but she was not interested at all because her firm was only for people who had ‘class’. Kenneth asked whether she’ll accept him if he won her in the court case and she agreed that she’ll agree with anything if he does. Of course, she did not feel threated by him because he was a newbie and this was just his first case. The unexpected happens (or rather expecting for us audiences), and Kenneth wins against Rebecca and he ends up working for their firm. At first, when Kenneth arrived at the firm, Rebecca went back on her words for employing him, but after Kenneth accepted the lower pay, no pay rise for 3 years, and no other pay leaves, overtime pays or bonuses, she agrees XD

Kenneth is my favourite character so far. He’s quite funny, playful, very devoted and has a good sense of justice. We find out that Kenneth desperately wanted to join the law firm because he looked up to Waise Lee who was his representative lawyer 7 years ago. Kenneth was a poor person, and so because of his background, he was suspected and accused of drug dealing when he was in the scene. Waise had helped prove him innocent in court, giving Kenneth once again new hope, after finding out that lawyers don’t just help those who have money and there was justice in the society. Waise was his idol, he wanted to be just like him which was why Kenneth tried really hard to finally became a lawyer. He wanted to learn more from him so wanted to work for his firm.

When Kenneth finally got to meet him, he appears to be different from what he had imagined (or was that just the impression Kenneth’s got from him?). As expected, Waise did not remember him at all, not even the content of the law book he published (which Kenneth bought and cherished) . Waise seems to be spending most of his time playing sport instead of dealing with court cases ^^;

Kenneth’s first task was to go and pick up the firm’s lawyer (played by Ella Koon) from the airport as she needed to go in court that same day…hehe..of course he was not pleased at all but he reluctantly went anyway. Unlike Kenneth, Ella is rich , materialistic, spoilt and looks highly on herself and because of the way Kenneth dressed (and was taking photos with some flight-attendant while he was bored waiting for her), Ella thought the firm just hired him as a luggage/taxi delivery. Likewise, because of the way Ella dressed and acted, Kenneth was not convinced she was a lawyer. They did not like each other XD Sadly, I don’t think anyone in the law firm likes Kenneth very much..

Kenneth holding up the sign looking for the lawyer. “What kind of person is this? leaving the court case to the last minute”

Ella complains about the car. Kenneth: “What’s wrong with it?”

Through the ride, Ella constantly complained about his car, how small it was, how bad it smelt and the things she found in it (like a pair of socks ^^); before she realised that Kenneth had (accidentally) left a luggage behind at the airport XD She ended up getting him to drive somewhere far in order to buy clothes to wear in court (it was in the luggage they lost) and Kenneth was annoyed that she was still being very picky on buying clothes when she was late for the court case XD Only when Ella arrived at court did she find out Kenneth was also a lawyer at their firm. Ella wins the case, and Kenneth is unhappy with it because he felt the outcome was unfair to the other party.

Back at the firm, Ella wanted to sue Kenneth in court for losing her luggage XD..ah…geez, sometimes I think she’s being so unreasonable..I think she’s a bit snobbish ..

The series does seem to be having resemblances to SL1 which I like =) Ella and Kenneth remind me of Raymond and Myolie in SL1….but why do the female characters have to be perceived that way lol~

Can’t wait to see this arguing couple fall in love and Sammul and Kenneth become friends lol I also hope will Selena appear soon! In this episode, they dealt with 2 cases, one about the a cockroach and model, the other being the dog and taxi driver. I didn’t quite understand what happened to the point raised in the cockroach case. The model loosened the pin on her outfit herself, which caused the cockroach to run loose..so shouldn’t she be responsible in that respect..? I also feel sorry for the taxi driver..all that hard earned money..

Kenneth: “What kind of firm is this??”

[Men Don’t Cry] Episode 17

Episode 17 did not focus on Cecilia and Dayo’s relationship, but rather on the overall storyline of Dayo, who (has now completely turned good)  now has the duty to be the one in charge of “Bo Chi Lam”. Wong Fei Hong temporarily handed his position to Dayo as he needed time off to try and find a cure for his eyes (which may go blind because Dayo had previously added a drug into this soup) and this episode was Dayo’s attempt to gain the respect from his fellow martial artist. They all still hate Dayo as the “Gan Yan Geen” and disapprove that he was handed the responsibility.

This scene occurs after Cecilia has overheard the conversation between Dayo and Wong Fei Hong and  witnessed that Dayo ‘s changed was genuine. This is also the next scene we see Cecilia and Dayo together after the fire rescuing scene. I wish Cecilia took the opportunity to thank Dayo now that the two were together alone but she doesn’t. It’s nice just seeing the two together like that though, there’s no anger and tension between the two anymore and they seem like good friends ^^
