Bosco telling Vivien to stop going against Elva

Kyle(Bosco): I thought you wouldn’t come.
Athena(Vivien): Why wouldn’t I? I want to see how you are going to beg me, to let go of your mum and wife.
Kyle: The one you’re angry at is me, don’t do anything to Elva. Don’t involve innocent people.
Athena: You actually care about how others feel? I thought you were heartless.
Kyle: I’m the one who made you upset, but I hope you can separate your private life with work matters, don’t make it tough for Elva workers.
Athena: I am going to make it tough for them, what about it? Is it because of Chow Lai Man (Myolie) that you’re unhappy?

Kyle: Even if we can’t become lovers, we can still be good friends, right?
Athena: I don’t want to be good friends! *hugs onto Bosco* Kyle, let’s start all over. I’ll listen to you, I won’t go against Chow Lai Man. *Bosco moves her away from him*
Kyle: I’m sorry. I know very clearly who is the one I love. I don’t want to use love to beg you. That’s not going to benefit anyone. *Vivien pushes his arm away*

Athena: What part of me can’t compare with Chow Lai Man!? I’ve given out everything more than her! I’ve always been the victim! Why do you have to choose her and not me!?
Kyle: Love isn’t an investment, you can’t talk about returns. When you hurt someone, you’re also hurting yourself.
Athena: You shut up! I really hate how you are now! Even after breaking up, you have to pretend to be a good person to comfort me! You think you’re so significant? I’m telling you, there’s no way I’m going to stop! I’m gonna let you see how I’m going to make Elva collapse. I want you to see how the women you love most, your wife, your mum get hurt!

Bosco looking over Myolie from a Distance

Bosco watches Myolie from a distance as she leaves work and she gets on a bus. Bosco follows her onto the bus and she doesn’t notice him as she was really tired. When Myolie gets woken up by the bus driver, she realises she has passed her stop because she had fell asleep. The Bus driver tells her than a guy has already helped her pay and she realises Bosco’s clothes is put over her to keep her warm. At home, Myolie is holding onto Bosco’s clothes and thinking about him when Vivien calls her.

Vivien and Myolie’s confrontation

Athena: Please stop bothering Kyle.
Myolie: What are you talking about?
Athena: Just don’t bother Kyle anymore!
Myolie: I think you should have already known that we have divorced already.
Athena: He’s always like that. When he’s with you, he thinks of me. When he’s with me, he thinks of you.
Myolie: What are you trying to say? Wake up, are you drunk?
Athena: Kyle is very softhearted. He sees that you’re pitiful, so he feels sorry for you. That’s how he treated me before. Now he is doing the same thing to you.
Myolie: If you keep going on like this, I’ll hang up.
Athena: Us three people, someone needs to make a decision. Since you’re divorced, then please don’t stick between us. You won’t understand. Kyle and I have known each other for a very long time. Our feelings are very deep, you don’t have a chance. Just give up.
Myolie: I think the one who needs to make things clear is you. All the things we’ve been through, you wouldn’t understand. At the end, I’m the one he married, not you.
Athena: But it’s because of me, you two had a divorce.
Myolie: I really don’t understand why you’re making this phone call. If you really have that much confidence, you wouldn’t be wasting time comparing who is more important to him. Wake up, and please don’t bother me anymore. I don’t want to know or care about the things between you two.

The conversation really gets to Myolie and she angrily throws Bosco’s clothes into her wardrobe.

Asking for one more chance…

Myolie is still working late at night at Elva and Bosco goes to find her.
Bosco: Interested in having buffet for midnight snack? I’ve bought Chinese food, Western Food and Japaneses food. Pick yourself.
Myolie is not impressed with him at all.
Myolie: I’m not hungry.
Bosco: Doesn’t matter, we’ll eat it later. Do you remember when you first joined Elva, it was just like tonight where you were working overtime yourself, andIi bought midnight snack for you to eat. After eating, we played rowing the boat.
Myolie: Don’t mention the things in the past. Sorry I’m busy tonight.
Bosco: Doesn’t matter, I’ll accompany you.
Myolie: The one you need to accompany isn’t me, it’s someone else.
Bosco tries to explain that he has already broken up with Athena, but Myolie cuts off his sentence before he could finish.
Bosco: I’ve already-
Myolie: I don’t want to know anything about the things between you and her. I just want to do my work well and fix up Elva. I don’t want to care about anything else.
Bosco: Can’t you really give me one more chance?

Myolie: Stop holding on and dragging things out, being so indecisive, ok? (always having 2nd thoughts) You always change your mind. I felt really hurt, don’t you know?
Bosco: I know what I want. All this time I’ve never been able to put you down-
Myolie: It’s too late! I’ve already put you down(let go of you), can’t you let me go? My wounds have just recovered, I don’t want to get hurt again, I don’t want to be heartbroken! Today you want to be with me, but what about tomorrow? How do I know if you’ll change your mind tomorrow? All this time, have you ever tried one thing, that you were able to do and keep going on with? I really don’t have confidence that I can find happiness with you. If you don’t love me and you’re being nice to me, please leave now. I don’t want to see you! I don’t want to get hurt again, I don’t want to be heartbroken again! Go!

Bosco: Sorry..I didn’t know that my appearance would make you so unhappy. You’re right, I’m unable to give you a sense of security. Maybe you’ll be happier without me. I won’t bother you, work hard..I wish you and Elva success.

The Boxing Match…Ah Man vs Athena!

In the midst of the boxing match:

Athena: So what if you beat me? The worse I can get is an extra bruise, and Kyle can help me put ointment when I get home.

Myolie: You lose. You lose and you can’t put it behind you, but I’ve put down everything.
Athena: It’s not that Kyle doesn’t want me, I didn’t want him first. I’m the one who doesn’t want him so I’ve dumped him back at you!
Myolie: You broke up with Kyle?
Athena: I wouldn’t want that type of guy anyway. Don’t think that now he’s gone back to your side, that you’ve won everything. I’ll tell you, I won’t admit defeat that easily. I’m going to watch you lose everything!

Athena starts sulking as she walks away.

Myolie tries to find Bosco after realising he had left Athena already, but she was too late. Bosco had already left overseas to do volunteer work.

I quite liked this episode because the relationship between the three main characters are getting better ^^ (and “Athena” is going down..haha) Liza has turned into a nice person and we can see her change in attitude towards volunteering at the Old People’s place. She also continues to try and bring Myolie and Bosco back together. It appears Liza is deliberately telling off Myolie for what a failure she is at “Elva” and pulling her down but she is actually encouraging Myolie to hang in there and not give up easily. At the same time, she pretends to support Vivien and Bosco together, asking when they plan to get married to make Bosco realise that his love for Myolie was still there. She wanted them to “try”, so Bosco would be satisfied that his relationship with Vivien wouldn’t work out. Vivien and Bosco also always had arguments at work.

This is also the episode Myolie realises and openly admits that she cannot compare to Liza, who has been able to gain everyone’s respect at “Elva”. Myolie now knows why Liza used to yell at people and be really mean to everyone to maintain power and control. Through “Coco”(Joyce), Myolie learns that Liza has protected them all before when the head of the company wanted people to be sacked~ Liza put herself in front, saying that the company can sack her if they wanted to get rid of everyone. She hired them all and knows what they’re capable of. Even though Joyce dislikes Liza because of her past, Joyce won’t forget the time Liza has bravely stood up and defended for them all.

Liza has decided to publish her own magazine and the employees previously under Elva has willingly decided to help her with it after work for free . Even though they were not getting paid, they were more interested, motivated and a lot more happier with their work than at Elva (where “Mark” forced them to somehow combined Elva and the Elva green line into one magazine to cut costs).

Bosco starts to see that Myolie has changed and matured and the two appeared to get along well again. When “Athena’ (Vivien) calls Bosco, Myolie signals that she’ll be leaving where she almost gets run over by a car! Seeing the car approach her, Bosco yells out “Low Por!”(wife) and saves her from the scene. Vivien is extremely jealous that Bosco is still thinking about Myolie and the two get into another argument where Bosco breaks up with Vivien.  Bosco leaves “Athena”‘s house, saying ‘where has the Athena I met at school gone?‘

At the end of the episode, Myolie goes to see “Mark”, and like Liza, Myolie decided to stand up for the other employees, saying that he’ll have to sack all of them if he wants to get rid of any of them. Keep them all, or remove all of them, including herself. There she learns that “Mark'”s intention was getting rid of everyone so they can sell off the company and change it into an investment! “Athena” (Vivien) enters the room, as Mark introduces her as his financial adviser!

**Coco (Joyce) and C.C (Derek) get together in this episode ^^

Warning: Ending Spoiler!! [All my posts contain spoilers, but this is the ending, so an extra warning message ^__^]

*Sammul has lost his memories and Ella’s dad was stabbed unconscious. Noel reported this to the police as she found them both already unconscious when she arrived in the room.
*The case was brought to the High Court, with Sammul being suspected for stabbing Ella’s dad as they were both found together in the room. The difficulties with the case was because the two people involved could not say what had actually happened. Waise’s master who is a very well known Barrister in the legal world is representing justice (Ella’s dad). Because Waise wanted to saves his marriage and prove to his master his worthiness, Waise takes out the courage, being a barrister to stand against his master to help Sammul (which no other lawyer was willing to stand against Waise’s master)

*Waise’s master takes Kenneth to be one of his key witnesses, so Waise gets Ella to help him in the case.
*No matter how hard Selena tried to help Sammul regain his memories, Sammul does not have any impression of anything.
* Noel deliberately spills her drink onto Sammul’s laptop and uses it as an excuse to take it away for fixing. The hard drive was not damaged so she was able to retrieve the files on the computer. She deletes the folder “Noel’s Records” where Ella and Kenneth catches her.
*Ella’s dad wakes up, and he and Noel go to court to confess the truth. Noel had attempted to stab Sammul when he found out the truth but Ella’s dad protects Sammul, getting stabbed himself, while Sammul hit his head onto the table, losing his memories.
*Sammul is set free and further action is brought against Ella’s dad and Noel.

Last night I finished off watching Survivor’s Law 2 ^^ Overall it had a happy ending but I felt the story didn’t flow so well after episode 11 when Kenneth was pursuing Ella. Things seemed to have been rushed a bit. The final episode was OK to watch but it wasn’t as suspenseful as I had hoped. It’s great that Waise’s old self is brought back out and is no longer the indecisive, weak lawyer. He was able to redeem himself and make his master and wife (played by Rebecca) proud, by becoming a Barrister again and winning his master in Court. However, I believe he won the case simply because Ella and Kenneth who found out about Noel(Queenie) who ended up telling the truth and felt he didn’t do that much.

Ending Scene

*June is Pregnant with Power Chan’s baby~

*Sammul still has not regained his memories, but he makes Selena a cake that Selena had made for him before. Selena asks him if he has remembered anything. He said he remembered eating the cake before and the feeling was very sweet, so he wanted her to feel that too. After trying it, Selena tells him she feels “sweet” and happiness ^^

Case: The Soccer Referee brings a bottle of oil (? I’m just going to call it ‘oil’; not exactly sure what it’s called) to start a fire at the Financial Investment Service company.

The Soccer referee was advised and mislead into put money into a certain investment. The share price eventually dropped dramatically, but the the adviser reassured and persuaded him that the price would increase again. As a result, the soccer referee lost all his money in the investment, owing a lot of money and having to sell his home. Angered by being mislead, the soccer referee went to find the man, and in the middle of the dispute, drops the bottle of oil in his hand. The financial adviser reports him for attempting to set the place on fire.

The soccer referee who knew Waise for a very long, hopes that he’ll represent him in court.

Kenneth was really excited to see his master battle in court after all those years so he happily assists him in the case in hope to learn things off him. However, Waise was not confident at all for accepting the case and was much pressured into it. When discussing with Kenneth about how they should tackle the case, Waise asks for Kenneth’s opinion. Upon hearing that Kenneth cannot figure out other ways to help him gethim off the charge, Waise is influenced in thinking there’s no way to get him out of it and hopes that he’ll admit being guilty and hopefully help reduce his penalties. Because Kenneth looked up to Waise being a very good lawyer, Kenneth thought this was the best way around so he took it for granted that it was the best choice. Little did he know Waise didn’t really know how to develop his analytical conclusions.

On the day of Court, when asked by the judge whether his client claims himself to be innocent or guilty, Waise replies innocent! It shocked Kenneth and the soccer referee since he had changed his mind and Kenneth asked whether he figured any point to argue or if he had any new evidence. Waise tells him that he didn’t, but just felt the soccer referee shouldn’t say he’s guilty when he wasn’t lol Half way through, he thought that he may have made the wrong decision and was wondering if he should say he was guilty. Becoming very clumsy and nervous, Waise eventually ends up fainting in court and sent to hospital.

Kenneth finds out from Rebecca about their past and why Waise was extremely nervous when dealing with cases about Investments. Years ago, Waise ended up investing his money (because he wanted to make their dream to travel around the world to happen earlier), but eventually he loses everything. This has had a great impact on him… Really wanting to help is master, Kenneth takes on the case and eventually wins. He proves that the shop keeper who had sold him the bottle saw the two arguing at the front of his shop. The Soccer referee was so angry that he didn’t even notice the shop keeper had slipped the shopping bag into his hands and he rushed off with it to continue confronting the man at the office. There was no intention of bringing it to set the place on fire and the bottle just slipped off his ahnds by accident.

Result: The Soccer referee was set free ^^

Kenneth and ‘Bo Bo’ moments 

 Bobo attempts to wake up her dad, but he continues to sleep. She ends up tickling him awake and he tickles her back.

“Die, die, die! Are you dead yet?”

“I’m not dead yet”

“Not dead yet? Die die die!”(continues tickling her)

“I’m dead”  XD

Bobo watches Kenneth shave but accidentally cuts himself when he was looking at Bobo. He said he knew he should have gotten an electric razor.

Bobo runs off and comes back with a pretty yellow-pictured band aid and sticks it on his face ^^

“Is it pretty?”

(Kenneth looks himself in the mirror) ‘It’s quite pretty I guess” 

At breakfast, Kenneth sees Bobo tapping her legs and asks her why she was doing it. Bobo giggles as she points at Kenneth’s legs which she was copying.  He later discovers that Ella has given a mobile phone to Bobo and tells her to give it back to Ella, because she shouldn’t just take presents, especially such expensive ones.

After school, Bobo attempts to give the phone back to Ella, but Ella tells her to keep it and not to worry about her dad.

At home, Kenneth finds the phone in her school bag and a wrapped up present.  When he asked Bobo whether she gave back the phone to Ella and not receive anymore presents from her, Bobo lies and Kenneth becomes extremely angry, tearing up the wrapped up present to see what was inside. It was a new electronic razor. When asked about it, Bobo tells him that”she” bought it for him and Kenneth angrily yells at her, saying that she must of stole the money out of the cashier (from the bar because $3000 was stolen- actually by June Chan (who played an employee at the bar)’ s boyfriend) to buy the present.

“Stealing just like your mother’s bad stuff”

Bobo ends up crying, going back to her room, and Kenneth even ends up yelling at his grandma..

Aww…I felt sorry for Bobo..he knew her daddy wanted an electric razor so she got Lily to buy it for her to buy for him. Being a little kid, she didn’t know how to explain where she got the money from, and now gets wrongly accused..

Sammul’s Barrister chamber has its grand opening and Ella brings him a very a big Case from the High Court. The client was Ella’s father’s friend’s son, whom Ella had referred to Sammul.
Case: Which Will do we follow?

(Sammul’s case as a Barrister, working with Ella)

A very superstitious man had a son and a daughter. He was a well known writer and when his son was born, he brought along very good luck to the family and the business’ wealth. However, when the daughter was born, she was believed to have brought bad luck to the family. Things were going bad for the family and business and the man’s wife passed away too. Thus, being the superstitious man he was, he sent his daughter away to England when she was still small and had no intentions of bringing her back. The man recently passed away (Ella’s dad’s friend) and he left everything to his son. A second will appears as the man’s daughter returns, saying her father wrote another will afterwards, giving everything to her. Under law, the newer one will take precedent over the older one. It was also proven that the signature and writing was in fact the man’s own one.

So far, this is the most interesting case I’ve seen in Survivor’s Law 2. The whole idea about battling in court over “which will do we follow”, seems to be common, but the point Sammul came out with was impressive! I thought it was very clever. He was able to prove that from all the writings the man had written, he has not used the English”Quotation” marks for any expressions. However, the latter Will did, which we have seen the girl constantly use with her hand gestures in court. This means that the girl had written the will beforehand and somehow forced the man to copy it, including the quotation marks. The writing was real, but the intentions were not.

Everyone was very impressed by Sammul’s performance and we all believed that the case was already won by him. Because of this, Rebecca planned to pass a lot more cases to him and his reputation was very good. However, the girl and her boyfriend saw that they were not favorable in winning and ends up publishing in the front magazine covers of Sammul and Selena having lunch together, saying he is a lawyer who uses girls’ money etc tarnishing Sammul’s reputation! Because of this, the superstitious son believed Sammul would bring bad luck to the case, not wanting him anymore! They passed the case to another lawyer… After the negative news about him were released over the magazines, many potential clients did not want him anymore… I feel so bad for him !! It’s so unfair to Sammul >_< As expected, Selena’s father was angry at him for being so ‘useless’. . .and was once again looked down upon. Why can’t people just appreciated his efforts , talents and well performance??

On the other hand, Kenneth is still not convinced Bobo is his daughter.He claims that Bobo’s mum could have written anyone in the name slot, so he cuts a strand of hair from Bobo, hoping to do a DNA test. Meanwhile, Kenneth’s grandma suggests that he takes Bobo to school, rather than having her not doing anything and just following them down to the bar all the time. With the help of Ella, they were able to apply at a International School.

Sharon Luk plays the Deputy Principal of the Prestiges International school. Bobo performed very well in the test she was given, but because of the impression Sharon got from Kenneth, like ‘trying to flirt with her’, sending sms during their interview (i.e lack of respect), his background of working at a bar and put on community service~she does not accept Bobo into the school. Kenneth ends up coming up with points to counter the things she has said and points out that the school has breached some of the safety standards and conditions of a school. Upon hearing his explanations, Sharon lets Bobo through!

Kenneth and Bobo share the joy after she was accepted to the International school ^^ “Bobo, choose your locker!!!” 

Kenneth tells Ella that he will prove that he is a very good father,

Kenneth takes Bobo to school and they are late by one minute! The front gate of the school is locked and Kenneth tells Bobo not to worry. He climbs over the fence but is caught by Sharon ^^; As a consequence, he was made to write 1000 lines “I must not be late to school” lol

Today I received an air mail post all the way from Malaysia~ from Summer!! (K for TVB Visitor)

Raymond Lam’s Christmas Feel

What Christmas present would you like to receive the most this year?

Actually I’m quite satisfied, especially with this year performance and award wise. There’s nothing particular that I want. My birthday is in December, so every year I would receive a lot of presents in December. This year it falls on the same day as “Foon Lok Moon Dong Wah”, so I’ve told my friends beforehand that, if they want to buy me a present, they might as well donate it to charity, it would be more meaningful.

Every year before Christmas, I’d actually go shopping. Every time I’d buy two big bags, and hand them out to my friends and family at the party, or treat it like drawing out presents. Beforehand, I’ve already given my mum a Christmas present, it’s a handbag. I know she wanted to buy a handbag, but the one I bought her wasn’t the one she wanted, but one that I chose with my own fashion sense. At first she didn’t really accept it, facing the mirror, moving left and right, but after dad complimented that it looked good, and so did her friends, she was very happy with it. As for dad’s present, I haven’t thought about it yet, because I still can’t seem to figure what thing he is missing.

What Christmas wish do you have this year?

Hm….I hope that I can quickly start dating, but its really hard finding the right person. Outsiders might think that it looks easy for us to meet people, but I, myself feel that it’s quite hard.

(Are there any requirements you are looking for?)

I don’t know myself either…hmm..it must a girl! haha! Actually, we must look good together appearance wise, and have compatible personalities. It would be best if she appears to have lots of different personalities, because I’m like that too: sometimes active, sometimes quiet, lots of changing personalities.

Likes hiding at home

To Raymond, earning money is for self certainty, to use for life’s pleasure: “My living standards isn’t high, you should have known from seeing that I haven’t changed my car in six years! I just like to buy toys, watch cartoons, listen to music, play games and read comics. I used to like reading books, but I’ve been reading less, too tired, no concentration, and I’ve got a lot of hobbies, how much money do I use!” Raymond says that he usually wouldn’t buy many clothes, he’ll only buy nice clothes for work: “Usually if there’s nothing to do, I won’t leave the house. After waking up I won’t even comb my hair, I won’ t shave, and I run around the house in my slippers. I feel that  its most relaxing when I’m staying at home ‘healing‘.” Raymond hasn’t changed his car in a long time, but back then when he was a newcomer, he drove a $500,000HK or so SLK racing car. At that time, he expressed that the car is a birthday present from his parents, and it was stable and safe.

Really wants to date

From acting to becoming a singer, releasing his first album, Raymond was only able to see his family once a month. Now that he’s a singer, timing seems to have settled and he is thinking about dating. He said: “Every time I tell people, I really want to be in a relationship, but being in this profession it’s so busy there just isn’t time. It’s really hard to start, but I can’t just casually find anyone. We, in this profession do not have the time to slowly understand someone, even if you do start dating, it’s hard to manage it.” When asked when was the last time he had a day off, he thought and thought, and replied “I can’ t answer you! Really can’t figure it out“
