Continuation of some of my favourite Kate x Dayo scenes from [Bounty Lady] See Part 1: Kate & Dayo Scene 1

In episode 12, Kate goes to find Dayo after Jazz’s wedding was called off. She was touched by how much Dayo had sacrificed for his friend and went to see if he was ok. He ends up resting his head on her lap and the limited edition bag they won together. Kate smiles as she watches him rest peacefully, until Dayo suddenly speaks out “You keep looking at me, how am I supposed to sleep?” lol

Later on, Dayo starts saying things about how the one who hurts the other person is as hurt as the one getting hurt. Dayo seems to be talking from his own experience.  Kate ends up asking if he was the one being hurt, or the other. Dayo lightly slaps her across the face.
Kate: Why did you hit me for?
Dayo: Nosey.
Kate: Good thing it didn’t really hurt.
Dayo: Because I was never serious. *Starts tapping Kate’s nose* You should make sure you’re not too serious with me.
Kate: What? I don’t even know what you’re talking about.
Dayo: Oh..I thought you were so curious about me because you have a bit of feeling towards me.
Kate *in denial/confused*: Are you serious?  You’re not young or good looking/smart, why would I like you for?
Dayo: Best to stay this way because I’m a super chewy beef. Decent girls can’t handle it.
Kate: You’re starting to think I’m a decent girl?
Dayo: I’m just generally speaking. I’m only 3 minute in the moment, you think it’s short, I think it’s very long already. If you don’t want to die, don’t develop feelings for me.
Kate: Don’t worry, I don’t like that heavy taste. I don’t want to die early, ok? *Kate shifts across and moves away from his head*

The next day, Dayo and Kate are sending text messages across to each other at work and Dayo asks her out for dinner at a French restaurant. He tells her it’s to thank her for using her lap as a pillow and she happily accepts. Back at home, Kate is having a dilemma about whether she should go or not, knowing he’s probably the 99% of men out there who is not a decent guy. She later convinces herself that she’s not “dating” him, just having a meal together. Unfortunately when she arrived, it turned out Dayo was trying to set her up with the owner of the restaurant and Dayo quickly leaves after the introduction.

Kate becomes extremely upset by this… and leaves shortly after.. She goes to sells their ‘baby’ (bag) and returns half the cash to Dayo. It’s like Dayo knows Kate has feelings for him and deliberately pushes her away. As Kate leaves, Dayo pours the alcohol on his head…

After this incident, the two resume as normal as if nothing has happened and Kate continues to have a crush on him as she happily replays the video clip on her phone. On the other hand, Dayo wants to help one of the employees Sharon Chan (also Kate’s friend and his friend Louis Yuen’s secret crush) fulfil her wish of having her own family. Kate notices Dayo hanging out with Sharon lately and follows him.

I just finished watching [Bounty Lady] and it is definitely one of my favourite TVB series of 2013 :D  I thoroughly enjoyed watching this series for Dayo and Kate because the two are absolutely adorable together! They have so much chemistry and for Kate’s first comedy role; I think she did a great job. Her character is super likable, funny, goofy and cute. I wish Kate would do more of these roles! As for Dayo, he never fails to disappoint me with his charisma and comedian skills.

I have that empty feeling inside of me now that the series has come to an end..and so, I’ve decided to put together snippets of some of my favourite Kate x Dayo scenes :]

The two start off in not-so-great terms when their friends tried to set them up and they ended up being drunk together at a hotel room. Co-incidentally Kate ends up working at his PR company and the two constantly compete with each other. Eventually they end up working together on many levels; and develop something for one another.

This screenie was taken from episode 1 when Kate tries to take back and delete the video clip from Dayo’s phone; when the two accidentally had recordings of each other drunk at the hotel room. Of course, Kate’s attempts fail and the two end up keeping clips of each other.

In episode 6, Dayo and Kate try to help tomboy Grace Wong become more feminine by teaching her how girlie girls and lovers should act. I thought this was hilariously funny and cute! (Grace’s case has still got to be my favourite!)

In episode 10, Kate and Dayo rush to save Kate’s sister Samantha Ko from being raped by a perverted rich man who had drugged the glass of alcohol. While Dayo went after the man, Kate stops her drunk sister by drinking the entire glass herself! Kate ends up getting drunk, knocks Dayo in the head and ties him onto the bed lol

In episode 11, Kate pleads Dayo to enter a VIP couples’ game’s night at a club with her in hope to win a limited edition hand bag. Dayo and Kate win the bag and Kate becomes super thrilled and over the moon. When Kate sees Dayo chatting up with some girls at the club, she ruins his chances by pretending to be his wife and stating he had aids lol.  Dayo ends up snatching the bag off Kate and runs off with it.

Kate *as she tries to get it back from Dayo*: Give me back my BB. Give it back, give it back ..don’t snatch mine!
Dayo: Oh it’s a baby! *Takes out car keys and threatens to scratch it*
Kate: Stay calm, please stay calm. Please don’t hurt my baby, I tried really hard to get it. You did too right? Please don’t hurt the baby.
Dayo: The baby is mine too. I have no person, I have no money- Why are you still pushing me!? I can’t control myself! I’ll just rip it into bits.
Kate: Noo!! You want money right? I’ll give you money…..
Dayo: Ok, I’ll trust you this once. *About to throw it to her, but then takes it back* Waiiit- The baby is mine, that means I’m the baby’s father. Then you are baby’s mother. That means you’re my wife.
*Kate has this shocked look on her face*
Dayo: Call me “hubby”
Kate: As if hubby my-
Dayo: Ah….! Baby, mum doesn’t want you..! *fake crying voice, and takes out his keys again*
Kate: Hubby!
Dayo: More naggy
Kate: Hubby?
Dayo: More sweeter
Kate: Oh Hubbbbby
Dayo: Ok we’re now at the shore, and I’m on the boat and you’re at the top, call out for the last time
Kate: Huuuubbbby!!!!!!!!!
Dayo: No wonder you can’t find a husband! *throws the bag back at her*
Kate immediately takes the back to look for scratches and poses with the bag to put online ^^;

Hi everyone!!

Just a short message to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! The festive season is here and its a good time to relax and celebrate as we approach the end of 2013 and to look forward to 2014!

I’m pretty behind in TVB these days! Still watching [Bounty Lady] which I LOVE!! Totally HEART watching Kate and Dayo’s scene (onto episode 14). Sad I didn’t get time to post up some recaps for them! Hoping they will have a sweet ending *fingers crossed* Also a big congrats on Dayo and Benz on their win for [Bounty Lady] at the Anniversary Awards. I also loved how Elena and Benz were pairred up together at the awards ceremony! I am also half way through [The Hippocractic Crush 2] which sadly a struggle to watch.  It’s too slow for my liking and most of the storylines does not interest me (except Kenneth and Tavia XD I wanna know how they will end up).  I find the storyline a bit depressing to watch. Maybe the prequel was enough for me.

I will be skipping the current 2 series [Coffee Cat Mama] and [Return of the Silver Tongue]. Hoping there will be some good TVB drama in 2014 to watch

Official Synopsis

Following the breakdown of his marriage to SUNG TSAU-PO (Miki Yeung), waiter PAU CHI-TAI (Bosco Wong) has to take up the parental responsibility on his own.

In order to take better care of his son, he has been changing his job constantly until his roommates SO SICK (Koo Ming Wa) and YAM KA-CHING (Vincent Wong) recommended him to work in a Café.  Unexpectedly, he encountered three troublesome female Café owners with intricate relationships, which has completely altered his life ever since.   MA SZ-NGA (Michelle Yim) is BEAN KWAI-CHI’s (Eliza Sam) biological mother, and her late ex-husband left them and his second wife SO MEI (Nancy Wu) the ownership of the Café.  Boasting her position as the person in charge in all respects, SZ-NGA bribes CHI-TAI and makes him the informant in secret in an attempt to have a solid grasp of what’s going on with everyone.  In the meantime, she also cultivates him to become a Barista.  After seeing that CHI-TAI is willing to meet any hardship for the sake of his son, KWAI-CHI, who once disliked him, has now grown fond of him, and even offers to help take care of his son.  Having learned that, SZ-NGA strongly disapproves of them being together, fearing that her wish of her daughter becoming a doctor will bite the dust.  Not wanting KWAI-CHI to follow in her own footsteps, SO MEI surprisingly joins forces with SZ-NGA, interrupting them with high-handed approaches.

Official Synopsis

This is probably the biggest surprise Anniversary awards I’ve seen!! It’s such a satistfying result, but unexpected for most. Dayo Wong winning best Actor who didn’t even show up to the event o__0! I loved his role in Bounty Lady and he’s a great actor, but TVB normally doesn’t give him this kind of award because he isn’t really a TVB Artist…Regardless, a big congratulations to Dayo for his great win!!!! I felt a bit bad for Francis since I thought his role was a lot more challenging than Dayo’s. I haven’t seen Brother’s Keeper but I’ve always approved of Kristal’s acting and roles, and I’m glad she got the recognition she deserves. Well Done Kristal!

I thought Kristal and Elena’s speeches were very touching ; made me go all teary too!

Official Synopsis

Leading Public Affairs Expert HEUNG KWONG-NAM (Dayo Wong), a renowned savior of the bachelorettes in town, often helps his single female clients have a happy marriage by using unexpected methods, yet he himself remains single and is satisfied with short-term relationships.
