Another very awesome episode! lots of drama.. and very sad touching moments..

Vincent is very worried about Melissa and takes care of her while she was resting. Melissa calls out Vincent’s name in her sleep and pleading “not to kill “. Vincent grabs onto her hands and Myolie gets really jealous. She manages to convince Vincent to go have something to eat so she can help wipe Melissa’s body. Melissa wakes up and Myolie confronts Melissa, just like Selena did to Melissa before, asking her why she returned to Vincent when she was the one who said she’ll leave him at first. She asks Melissa to leave them alone..so slack! She didn’t even care what was happening. Melissa has been so nice to Myolie the whole time and what does Melissa get in return when she needed someone the most? Myolie just wants Melissa to go away and find someone else..Poor Melissa..

Melissa in front of Master Kwan’s grave, asking him what she should do..

Melissa goes off to find her father to tell him that she doesn’t plan to tell Vincent the truth. She will think of a way to leave the capital with him and never return, but she will never forgive her father. She warns him that if he still planned to hurt Vincent, he’ll have to kill her first. Melissa’s father reassures he did not have any intentions of harming either of them.

When Melissa returns, she tells Vincent that she wants to speak with him alone, and the two go outside. Melissa turns around and hugs onto Vincent, asking him to leave the Capital with her if he still loved her. She desperately wanted to get out of the place and didn’t want Vincent ever finding out the truth or going after her father for revenge. Vincent was confused- he didn’t know what was going on or what was wrong. Myolie pulls Melissa away from Vincent, and slaps her in the face!

Vincent: What are you doing!?
Myolie: What am I doing? You should be asking her! (To Melissa) That day you were the one who promised to leave “Mo Ma” to let us be together. Why are you taking him away now?
Melissa: I’m sorry “Ji Kuai”.
Myolie: Stop trying to act pitiful. You’re not even the one who is pitiful!
Melissa: I have to take “Mo Ma” away. Forgive me.
Myolie: You have to? What do you have, to do that? What are you to him? Who am I to him? What right do you have to say that!?
Vincent: “Ji Kuai-”
Melissa: “Ji Kuai”, I know that no matter what I say now it’s useless. I really hope that you’ll let me take “Mo Ma” away with me.
Myolie: I won’t. I won’t let “Mo Ma’ leave me. (To Vincent) “Mo Ma”, you promised that you’ll take care of me. You’ll take responsibility. Tell her clearly. Tell her to never bother us again. Tell her…say it!
Vincent: “Ji Kuai”, I’m sorry.
Myolie: I don’t want to hear you say you’re sorry!

//yay! This part made me really happy 😀 I was so happy Vincent did what he did =)

Myolie runs crying into the forest and accidentally slips and falls. When she gets back up, she finds Raymond’s 3rd Si-Sok (one that Melissa’s father kicked down the mountain) and with his final words, he tells Myolie everything.

Just before Melissa and Vincent leave the city, Myolie stops them and tells Vincent the truth! She tells him that Melissa’s father was the one who actually killed his parents and Vincent becomes really angry that Melissa had lied to him when he trusted her and he pushes her away from him.

Melissa asked Myolie why she had to tell Vincent the truth. Myolie tells Melissa that the greatest reward out of this was for her to see Vincent hate Melisa..argh!! Myolie is so selfish and evil!!

Vincent goes to Raymond’s Sect in demand to find Melissa’s father where Myolie stands up as the witness, telling them all the truth.

Myolie takes them to the dead body…

They were not able to find Melissa’ father because he had disappeared. Power was very angry and upset and wanted to take revenge for his 3rd Si-Sok (since he was the one who always looked out for him, while Melissa’s father cared for Raymond a lot and vice versa). When Melissa attempted to find her father at the sect, Power sees her and slaps her, forcing her to tell him where he was. Melissa’s father appears so he’ll let go of Melissa. When Melissa’s father heard Melissa call out to him to run and not to worry about her, he realizes that his daughter still loved him. Power and Melissa’ father fight and Power is unable to defeat him. Melissa and her father attempted to run when Raymond arrives. Power asks Raymond not to let them get away, but he doesn’t and lets them go..

Melissa asks her father to leave the Capital with her, and never go come back or he’ll die. He learns that Melissa had forgiven him because he is still her father and promises to leave with her.
That night, Derek finds Vincent and encourages him to seek revenge. =_= He tells him that there was a way to find Melissa’s father, which was by using Melissa to find him, justifying that they were the ones that deceived him first =__= such evil manipulative people!!

The next day, Melissa goes to find Vincent and asks him for forgiveness, pleading him to let her father go.

Melissa: I’m sorry. I know that I’m very selfish… but I really didn’t want to see you and my father kill each other. You two are the most important people in the world to me. I know that you’re very angry that I did this. Once I knew that my father was the one who killed your parents and Lau Dai-Sok, I was very angry at him too. I really, really wished that I have never recognized/reunited with him, but..no one wants bad things to happen to their own parents. I’m the same…which is why I didn’t tell you the truth. I especially don’t want you to turn back into what you were like before, only with a vengeful heart. “Mo Ma”, I’m begging you, pleased forgive my father, let him go. He’s already been so guilty for all these years, he didn’t mean to kill your parents. Forgive him..
Vincent: You want me to forgive your father?
Melissa: “Mo Ma”, my father already decided to leave the Martial Arts world, can you give him a chance to live happily for the remaining of his life? I’ll leave with him and we won’t ever appear before you again.

Vincent: When I knew that “Yung Bak Choon” (Melissa’s father) was the one who killed my parents, I couldn’t control myself either. In my heart, I only thought about “revenge”, but when I think of you, think of Master, think about everything that you two have done for me, I started to slowly clam down…And, he is your father.
Melissa: You’re willing to forgive my father?
*Vincent nods*
Melissa was really happy and hugs onto Vincent. “Thank you. Thank you Mo Ma”
Vincent: When do you plan to leave? I’ll send you off.
Myolie watches from a distance and is very disappointed. She walks off.
=) awwwww……I was very relieved 😀 , but was slightly worried that Vincent may do what Derek suggested and use her just to find her father. He wouldn’t right? please please please.

Melissa’s father was waiting when he sees Melissa coming with Vincent and he becomes uneasy. From Vincent’s eyes and facial expression, Melissa’s father knows that Vincent is there to fight him and so attacks him even though Melissa explains that Vincent has forgiven him. Vincent has become very powerful and could have easily killed him but he held back from his attack. Vincent didn’t have intentions of killing him, letting him go and he took that as having taken his revenge already 🙂

Vincent was finally able to put down the hatred and learned from Master Kwan’s sacrifice. His martial arts have improved tremendously and he inside has reached a high level of self advancement ^^ Hearing Vincent’s words, Melissa’s father realizes that he should also learn to let go. Seeing the type of man Vincent was, he places his trust on him to look after his daughter.

Melissa: Father, what do you mean by this?
Melissa’s father: Let go, my whole life is filled with too many bad deeds and regrets. It’s time to learn how to let go, and I mean, truly let go.
Melissa: Father, everything’s already fine now. We’ll leave the Capital.
Melissa’s father: I can’t run away for the rest of my life. I need to account for myself, and I need to account to “Chong Long Pai”(Sect).
Melissa: Father, you promised me that you’ll never leave me again. Father, you said you’ll take care of me!
Melissa’s father: Having you as my daughter is my greatest luck *hugs Melissa*
Melissa: Father..
After his final hug with his daughter, Melissa’s father knocks her unconscious and asks Vincent to take care of her for him.

Melissa’s father goes to Paul’s grave. The other Sect members arrive and he asks Raymond as the leader to kill him because he is a disgrace to the Sect and has done too many bad things. Raymond is a softhearted guy and just couldn’t do it. Raymond and his 2nd Si-Sok’s relationship throughout has always been very good, and he had a lot of respect for him. Melissa’s father gets very disappointed at Raymond and forces him to take on his role of being the leader. He tells Raymond that he just fought with Vincent and he has improved dramatically and that Vincent is a threat! and that even he lost of Vincent very easily. He starts fighting with Raymond and Raymond loses to him, proving his point that Raymond cannot defeat Vincent in his current state. He will lose to him in the upcoming fight for the “Wah Mung Wui” leader position…he hopes Raymond will continue to work hard..

The two share their final hug before Melissa’s father takes out a knife and stabs himself! Vincent and Melissa arrive..

Comments: At first I wasn’t really anticipating the series because “Journey” and “Life” didn’t sound that appealing. In the past I’ve seen series claimed to be meaningful and inspirational series and had expectations for it, but the story turned out rather bland instead, for example, Life Art, Invisible Journey, Reaching out. However, after seeing the theme video and hearing the theme song I’m actually looking forward to it 🙂 The theme song sung by Steven Ma and Linda Chung sounds really nice ^^ It has a bit of an ancient series feel to it and sounds very moving lol.

I’m not really a Linda fan but she has improved a lot in Heart of Greed so I hope she’ll impress me in this one. I haven’t watched Virtues of Harmony II so haven’t seen Linda and Steven together in a collaboration. This will be my first and I look forward to their chemistry. *crosses fingers and hope it’ll be worth watching*

The above translations are done by TVB. ” Threesome” sounds a bit wrong..maybe they mean a love triangle instead?

On a side note: Having Steven Ma, Mary Hon and Fala Chen in the same series reminds me so much of Steps and The Brink of Law xD

Posts on the series:

Another exciting episode! I’m loving Taichi so much!

The story continues to show how much Melissa and Vincent miss each other, yet are forced not to think about each other, because they have to face what they believe is set. Melissa and her father have a talk with each other, where he tells her that Vincent has decided to compete for the leader position in “Wah Mang Wui”. He knows that the two still love each other and that Vincent is trying to set his mind on something so he wouldn’t have time to think about her so he can forget her.

But the harder you try to forget, the harder it is to forget. You and “Mo Ma” are the same, there is no way you two can forget about each other. You still have him in your heart.

On the other hand, Myolie becomes really angry and jealous when she realises that Vincent cared so much for some clothes that Melissa made for him, and had even kept it after there were many holes on it (damaged from training).

Vincent: You threw it away? That clothing is mine! How could you just throw it?
Myolie: The clothes are already so torn and you don’t need it for your training anymore, why do you still have to keep it for?
Vincent: The clothing is still mine, without my consent, why did you just throw it!? No one is allowed to throw it!
Myolie: You’re planning to go pick it back up again? It’s not that you care so much about the clothes, it’s Melissa isn’t it? She’s not here anymore and you still want to keep the clothing she made you!? You never even planned to put her down/let go of her. Did I say anything wrong? What am I?

Vincent starts to become a softy as he sees Myolie crying.
Vincent: Don’t be like this.
Myolie: Melissa is gone, she won’t come back. What’s the point keeping the clothes she made? I’m alive standing here and you don’t care, you only care about the broken clothes that she made. Am I not even about to compare to broken clothing? Do you know that I’ll be very hurt?
Vincent: Sorry..

Raymond’s Japanese friend Ellesmore tries to stand up for Raymond by challenging Vincent in a fight, but loses. Vincent’s martial arts seemed to have improved heaps and he won very easily. Later on , Raymond learns of an underground Black Gambling place where people bet on actual fighters who wore masks over their faces. When he learns of a fighter who “attacks in midair” Raymond decides to go and have a look, when one of the challengers masks gets knocked off, revealing to be Ellesmore! Ellesmore was about to get himself killed so Raymond couldn’t help but save him. Raymond tried convincing him to give up because he’ll die but Ellesmore tells him he has to win because he is gambling his own Japanese Sect’s title! Raymond decides to step in and fight on his behalf, causing much commotion when he revealed his true identity as the Sect leader of “Chong Long Pai”. Raymond wins and was able to save Ellesmore but this has had a negative impact on Chong Long Pai’s name, and caused more trouble within the Sect from disapproval of his actions and appearance at an Underground “casino”.

It turned out that Ellesmore wanted to compete there because it was a life-and-death situation and he believes that only fighting in those circumstances would he improve. He hopes to beat Vincent next time.

Lau Dai Sok’s body is found and now they realise he has been killed. (They thought he went back to the Country Side but was actually killed by Melissa’s father). After Melissa visits Lau Dai Sok’s grave, Vincent walks her off even though she didn’t “want” him to. Raymond’s 3rd Si-Sok attempted to have a sneak attack and kill Vincent but Vincent cuts him back with the knife instead and he manges to escape. Vincent believes that man may have been the one who killed Lau Dai Sok so Vincent offered Melissa to accompany her home because he was worried he may use Melissa against him. However, Melissa reminds him that Myolie is now the most important women in his life and not her, so he should go back and protect her =(

Back at the Raymond’s Sect, the group have a meal where Raymond’s 3rd Si-Sok returns. After Fred accidentally spills hot water on his arm, the cut on his arm is revealed and Melissa realises that he was the one who attacked Vincent just then. Raymond’s 3rd Si-Sok also notices Melissa’s reaction..

Melissa hopes to find Vincent to tell him what had just happened, but the man stops her. He also reveals to her that he wasn’t the one who killed Lau-Dai-Sok, but actually her own father! It was also her father and him that forced Vincent’s parents to jump off a cliff and die! Because Melissa knew the truth, he tries to kill her. Melissa’s father arrives and attempts to protect her, accidentally kicking his Si-Dai off the cliff!

Melissa is horrified and unable to accept the truth on what her father really is..a murderer who killed so many people just to achieve his goals. Melissa’s father chases after her into a forest where Melissa pulls off the Jade Necklace (that her father had left her), throwing it onto the ground breaking it. She warns him to kill her or else she will tell everyone of his evil doings! Her father doesn’t and Melissa walks off.

Melissa goes to find Vincent and faints…

..What a dramatic episode …

Vincent and Derek arrive at Shanghai and suddenly Myolie appears, running up to Vincent. She starts faking a story to come up with an excuse, saying that she suddenly remembered a bit of her past and she was scared that something was going to happen to him so she didn’t think about anything else and ran to find him =__=

At the same time, Raymond appears and got confused (and perhaps Jealous) when he saw her with Vincent. Myolie seemed shocked that Raymond was there too.

Myolie: Why are you here?
Raymond: Why are you with Vincent(“Mo Ma”)? I have something to talk to you about. *Raymond takes Myolie to a bridge to have their talk*

Raymond: Why did you just leave to Shanghai without saying anything? And with “Mo Ma”?
Myolie: Before I lost my memories, I already met “Mo Ma”.
Raymond: And so?
Myolie: Do you remember how every time I saw “Mo Ma”, including when you two were competing last time, I would have this special feeling? Before, I couldn’t describe this type of feeling, but every time I look at him..
Raymond: You love “Mo Ma”?
Myolie: He saved my life before, he’s my Saviour.

Raymond: I saved you too!
Myolie: I know! I know that you not only saved me, you were also really nice to me. You cared for me a lot which is why I’ve been very grateful to you the whole time. But that feeling, it’s different. The feeling Vincent gives me, is one that even though I’ve lost my memories, I don’t even know who he is, the feeling is still there, do you understand?
Raymond: But to me you don’t?
Myolie: I’m sorry, I really didn’t want to hurt you. At first I thought that we could really be together, but after I saw him again, I know that the feelings between us isn’t love.
Raymond: You’re just talking to me about feelings? How do you know that your feelings aren’t wrong? You only vaguely remember something, you only have a little relationship with him, doesn’t mean you love him!
Myolie: I know who I love!

Raymond: You don’t! You don’t even know who you are! You’re just temporarily attracted to him. Give me some time, I will let you know who you truly love.
Myolie: Just let it be, “Hiu Sing”. I don’t deserve you loving me so much. I’ve been lying to you the whole time. I know who I am, I know everything. I already previously remembered everything. I am “Yin Ji Kuai”, not your cousin. I also remember the one I love is “Mo Ma”..I’m sorry, I’ve been hiding it from you the whole time because I wanted to forget my own past. I wanted to start a new life, but that thought is silly. I am myself, not matter how hard I try to forget everything, some things I just can’t let go of. Before I met you, I already loved “Mo Ma”. I loved him then, I love him now, and I always will love him.
Raymond: Don’t say anymore..

Poor Raymond!!! T_T …

Myolie goes back to join Vincent and Derek and they have a meal together. Derek had lied to Vincent from the start about a Taichi Master in Shanghai, just to get him away from Melissa. He apologises to Vincent that it was his fault they couldn’t contact the Taichi master and went on a trip for no reason. He gets Vincent and Myolie to drink with him, getting them both very drunk! Omg..Derek..how could you..argh!! Derek deliberately carried Vincent and Myolie onto the same bed to ruin Melissa and Vincent’s relationship to force Melissa to leave him.

Raymond in depression and deep into thought. He suddenly gets up and runs off.

Half way, Vincent feels like throwing up so he gets up and stumbles his way out of the room where he collapses on the stairway. Just at that time, Raymond goes to find Myolie where he finds Myolie drunk on the bed.

Raymond: “See Kam..See Kam” *shakes her in hope to wake her up*
Myolie: “Mo Ma”..
Raymond: It’s me.
Myolie mistakes Raymond as Vincent and gets up and hugs onto him.

Myolie: I know it’s you. “Mo Ma”, did you know, that the first time I met you, I knew that you were the one I was looking for. No matter how you treated me before, even if you never put me in as your first priority, even if you already have “Song Ching” (Melissa), no mater what, I only have you in my heart, and only you are the man I love the most. “Mo Ma” I really love you, I really love you…

Raymond was completely heartbroken and shattered T_T and then Myolie started kissing him… He couldn’t control his feelings, even though he knew she had mistaken him for Vincent. The girl he loved forced herself onto him and he took advantage of her… *sigh* It’s wrong of him but I just can’t get myself to blame him though.

After sleeping with her, Raymond got up because he felt so guilty. As he leaves, Derek saw him and realised what had happened. He carried Vincent back onto the bed, so when Myolie woke up the next morning naked next to Vincent, she believed the man with her last night was Vincent..She gets up first and leaves so Vincent is left completely clueless.

The next morning at the breakfast table, Vincent acts like he normally does and Derek convinces her that its probably because Vincent is still unsure how to handle the situation.

Myolie goes back to Raymond’s Sect and prepares to leave.

Raymond: You really have to leave?
Myolie: I think I’ve said it very clearly in Shanghai.
Raymond: Why are you wearing this set of clothing? You’re dressed the same as when I first took you back from Shanghai.
Myolie: When I followed you to the Capital, I was wearing this set of clothing and only these clothes belong to me.
Raymond: So you’re saying, everything that I’ve given you, whether it is clothes or other things, you won’t take it away with you?
Myolie: Sorry “Hiu Sing”, I owe you too much.
Raymond: I know, I know in your heart I’ll never be better than “Mo Ma”, but I never guessed that you wouldn’t even leave a little place for me…You don’t want these things I’ll throw them away for you! *Raymond starts messing up the room and tossing things onto the floor*
Myolie: Don’t be like this!
Raymond: We’ve got nothing to do with each other! Ok I’ll help you throw away everything!!
Myolie: No! I-
Raymond: I know! You’re only using me. When you have nothing you treat me as your Saviour, when you couldn’t get the man you love, you used me as a substitute. And now that you found back the man you love, I’m like these things, you toss me aside! You yourself “Song Serng Moon”
Myolie slaps across Raymond’s face.
Raymond: Go. Go to the place where you need to go.

As Myolie was walking away bare-footed out of the Sect, Fred (the servant) chases after her and hands over a pair of shoes that Raymond had asked him to. It was the first pair of shoes he bought for her in Shanghai when he saved her. Myolie holds onto the shoes and starts crying.

After Myolie tells Selena what has happened, Selena reveals that she was the one who actually wrote that letter to Raymond telling him that Myolie went to Shanghai. She knew Raymond would chase after Myolie, and thought that if Myolie knew, she would be moved by Raymond and realise who was the one who cared for her. When Myolie tells Selena that Vincent doesn’t appear to take any responsibility, Selena decides to stick up for her and the two go find Vincent. When Vincent starts denying that it ever happened, Melissa slaps him across the face…

Later Vincent goes to find Derek in hope he can help prove himself innocent. However, Derek lies, saying he did spend the night with Myolie.

Myolie begs Melissa to leave Vincent.

Vincent: Where are you going?
Melissa: Myolie is inside.
Vincent: I’m not asking about Myolie. The one I’m asking about is you.
Melissa: Since Myolie is to stay, then of course I am the one to leave. *Melissa attempts to walk off*
Vincent: Melissa, don’t leave.

Melissa: If I don’t leave, what do you plan to do with Myolie? You’re not planning to take responsibility?
*Vincent slowly looks away*
Melissa: We’re both orphans. We both tried what it’s like to be abandoned. You should understand Myolie’s feelings now. You can’t leave her and not care about her. Take good care of her.
As Melissa walks passed Vincent, he grabs onto her hands and Melissa starts to cry.

Melissa: Vincent let go of me. Wake up a bit…our “Yuen Fan” has come to an end. It’s impossible.
Vincent: Melissa, we’ll try to think of something.
Melissa: There is no other way! There isn’t! If there was another way you think I really want to leave? I don’t want to leave. There isn’t…there’s isn’t..
Vincent: Melissa.. *hugs onto her*

Melissa backs off.
Melissa: Vincent, we can’t be like this. ..you’ll only make it more painful for me. *Melissa runs off and Vincent calls after her*

Melissa’s father goes to find Melissa as she leaves, and asks her to go back home with him. Melissa finally accepts and recognises her father…aww...poor thing..I’m glad that she has somewhere to go now..

That night, all four of them couldn’t sleep..

= = =

The dramatic things happened. When I saw the preview of this episode, I was so shocked because I thought Myolie actually slept with Vincent…there’ll definitely be no turning point there. I thought Myolie would have got him drunk but turned out to be Derek. At least it was just a misunderstanding…Everything that has happened has been an obstacle between Melissa and Vincent but I hope they will overcome it, and prove that their love is strong and won’t just fade away. What I hope now is that the truth will come out someday. It should come out, so I’m looking forward until that day will come…I just wish it would come sooner.. =(

[The Seventh Day] Episode 11-15

Up until now, Natalie and Bosco still wins it for me <3 I still enjoy watching Natalie and Bosco’s relationship and storyline over Niki and Kevin’s. I love the chemistry they share and I’ve been been rooting for this couple since.

I liked episode 11 a lot because I thought the scenes after Bosco and Natalie broke up were quite ..sad…aww..I felt really sorry for them and watching both of them feeling that their feelings have been ‘cheated’ by the other. It is obvious they both developed real feelings, but were angry that the other had “used” them, so won’t admit that they put their true feelings in the relationship.

At first they’d do things to each other to show they hated each other, but it was different to the first five episodes where it was truly from “dislike”. At times I felt they were still quite cute when they were arguing again, but when it comes down to it, both of them are getting hurt, especially when they’re attacked emotionally because of the love they experienced as a couple.

Watching them now getting hurt from each encounter is quite heartbreaking, especially in the following “toy” scene.

When Natalie’s vehicle broke down after a “race” with Bosco’s car, Bosco reverses his car back to her and starts throwing out all the toys in his car that she had previously bought for him, calling them rubbish then driving off. Natalie starts pushing her vehicle but then stops to pick up all her toys and she starts to cry.. =( I thought that was a really sad scene.

That same night when Bosco goes back into his car after a dinner with “Jessie”, he finds a Heart left in his car. He considered throwing it out, but after some thought, he doesn’t and puts it on the seat next too him..it shows that he actually really cares for Natalie a lot in the inside. The two kept thinking about each other..

I’m glad that Bosco eventually let down his barrier first, his stubbornness by offering the drink to Natalie. (This couple is A LOT better than the relationships in Marriage of Inconvenience hehe). The two pretended not to have any feelings for the other so were now able to talk together each other mutually without arguing with the other They’ve become friends. Things have gone more awkward now that “Jessie” is between them and it makes it harder for them to be with each other.

I’m anticipating the scenes when Natalie and Bosco will go to Japan =) And of course, I look forward to seeing them get back together ^^

Niki and Kevin’s storyline seem to pick up a bit when Kevin starts acting cold towards Niki when the story about how ‘his ex-girlfriend has mysteriously disappeared in Japan 5 years ago’ is brought up. However, we as audiences know that Kevin is the good guy so whatever he is hiding will be something that will only make Niki love him more. Kevin and Niki finally go to the beautiful Japan scenes (which I feel quite familiar with even though it’s not at the same city ^^)

I still do not feel much for the story yet though.. maybe it was because I’ve previously got the story spoiled on my chat box about Selena having aids so I had a feeling that, that was the thing Kevin was keeping from Niki. I find the Selena-Kevin-Niki bits draggy and don’t like seeing Kevin give so much attention to Selena. Even though I know they are trying to show that Kevin really cares about Selena but ultimately loves Niki, I wish he would show it more. He was so worried about Selena that when he was rushing around trying to find her, he didn’t even wait for Niki and she was trying to keep up running from behind him. Niki is his girlfriend, not Selena.

The parts that made my eyes a bit teary were scenes in episode 15 where Niki was suffering from her condition. Watching someone dying and her father so worried about her is the sad bit.

I think Niki should have told Kevin about her cancer, he has the right to know. It’ll just put him in greater guilt and regret if she were dying and he wasn’t there to be by her side to support her. Niki would rather let Kevin be with Selena? I really wanted Kevin to find out but Niki chooses not to let him know.

Do I like Selena’s character here? Not really. At first I felt sorry for her but the way she treats Niki I just feel she is so selfish, while Niki plays the selfless person.

I hope the final episodes will get better because so far I still find Niki and Kevin’s storyline not as “moving” as I had hoped..

Happy Easter Everyone =) Eat lots of chocolate xD

So..what’s been happening with K lately? I hope you have already realised by the regular updates on The Master of Taichi that I’m totally obsessed with the series at the moment XD I’m loving the series heaps and highly recommend it to everyone. I can’t believe I’m already 3/5 through it already.. The storyline is very exciting~ whether its the complex relationships and love plots, character developments, fighting scenes or simply the beautiful scenery~ I have high hopes and expectations that the latter episodes would just get even better!

It has been a while since I’ve become so “into” a TVB series, and Taichi is definitely a very high quality production. This is also a series (that’s been awhile since) I’ve blogged about my thoughts and episodic summaries and screen caps of every episode on a daily basis. The summaries are also more detailed and written so that even for those who have not been able to watch it, should still be able to follow with what’s been happening ~ so if you haven’t had a read, start from the beginning! lol I’ve also created an entire page for it!

What you may not know is that Uni work is becoming very very hectic and life is getting quite busy too. This will be my final semester before I graduate Uni so I need to spend more time focusing on that. It’s already been quite hard squashing Taichi into my schedule, and I hope that I can survive the next two weeks finishing off Taichi and its updates etc.

I don’t believe I would be able to update much after that, i.e on the next two series after The Seventh Day and Taichi: i.e “D.I.E” and “A Journey called life”. I most likely will not even watch it but I’ll see when that time comes around. Hope you guys will understand 🙂

I have added in a few polls, so please vote in them if you can. I have also uploaded the Full version of the Themesong to D.I.E by Roger Kwok and I shall be finishing The Seventh Day by the end of next week~

For now, please enjoy reading the Taichi updates and share your comments and thoughts =)

Fred (playing the servant) accidentally tells Myolie that Raymond is going to propose to her and that he went all over the city just to buy a ring her a ring. Myolie starts to get worried because she doesn’t like him that way but doesn’t want to hurt him because she knows he is really nice to her.

Myolie starts avoiding him and told him that she has something important to do, but Raymond said he’ll wait for her return.

Myolie ends up going to find Vincent where she interrupts the two who were sharing a sweet moment together. Myolie talks to Melissa and starts putting the act on again, pretending she hasn’t got her memories, and doesn’t remember anything, but “feels something special when she sees Vincent”. She starts asking Melissa why it was so and what kind of relationship did she have before her memory loss, hinting that she may regain her memories if she could spend more time with him. Melissa decides to help her out and asks Vincent to spend some time with her. Of course, Vincent agree (he’ll do anything for Melissa), and Vincent and Myolie went for a walk along the streets. Vincent seems a lot nicer to Myolie now, I think he has changed into a nicer person. A carriage almost runs Myolie over and Vincent saves her, making Myolie fall for him even more. Vincent figured that it was enough for one day and that he should go back, and that he’ll go out with her again some other time. Boy, can you imagine how happy Myolie was to hear that..

She finally returns to find Raymond who has been waiting for her so anxiously. When Raymond starts getting into the topic, like how she’s always been there for him since his fathers’ death etc, Myolie tells him its because they’re friends. She indirectly rejects him, saying that he should focus on being the leader of the Sect…

I really really feel sorry for Raymond >_< He was so nervous, excited ..and argh..such disappointment..he din’t even know it was coming…he held onto the ring tightly behind his back and didn’t end up giving it to her.

Raymond thought that perhaps  it was because Myolie just wasn’t ready for it yet..

On the other hand, Vincent has established his Taichi Sect and Kenneth wants to be his first disciple. Derek encourages Vincent to join the Committee “Wah Chong Wui”, even though a lot of the other parties do not like him. Melissa decided to ash her father for help, whether he can help assit and back up Vincent for a place in the committee. He had many considerations and excuses, but seeing that Melissa was disappointed in him, he changes his mind and agrees to help her. That’s the way to go..especially how he said he’ll make it up for her..and if he doesn’t help her with her first request? What would that show..?

With the help of Melissa’s father, Vincent is “accepted” so Vincent decides to thank him by inviting him to their place for dinner. Melissa didn’t forgive him yet but Vincent tells him that he understands Melissa. Even though she is still angry at him now, somewhere in her heart she is happy to have a father and encourages him not to give up on Melissa. I think Melissa’s father is somehow quite liking Vincent and believes what Lau-Dai Sok had said to him previously.

While Kenneth was proudly advertising for more members to join Vincent’s Taichi Sect at his restuarant, some other Sects who hated Vincent overheard and started beating him up and damaging the place. Luckily Vincent arrives shortly after. However, after this incidence, Melissa believes she has made the wrong decision in encouraging Vincent to start a Sect because it would only cause more fighting and hatred. Melissa reminds Vincent of Master Kwan’s words, how he wanted him to self-advance and not always thinking about competing and becoming #1. He should take it slowly, a step at a time so it wouldn’t cause too much problems.

By following their plan, Derek tries to persuade Vincent to keep fighting so they could use him to create chaos in the committee and city. Luckily, Vincent was influenced by Melissa’s words and decides to take things slowly. Upon hearing this, the Police Captain tells Derek to find a way to get rid of Melissa!!! >_< awww..slack!

After another day that Vincent had spent with Myolie, Myolie stays for dinner and cooks for them. Derek arrives and tells Vincent about a Tai Chi Master in Shanghai, so the two decide to go and meet this man the next day. Derek notices that Myolie has feelings for Vincent, so as Derek and Myolie leave together, Derek decides to use Myolie and manipulates her into thinking she is the more appropriate women for Vincent than Melissa(which is not hard for her to believe so at all). He tells her that Melissa is discouraging Vincent and getting in his way in achieving status in the martial arts world. He asks Myolie to travel to Shanghai with them: for one she could spend more time with him, while two, she could help encourage him to” fight and prove himself worthy “…

Myolie tells Selena her plans to going to Shanghai with Vincent. She tells her that Vincent is starting to treat her differently and that he can finally see the other side of her. She believes she should take this opportunity to be with him =_=

The next day, Myolie leaves to Shanghai, leaving behind a letter to Raymond telling him that if he really loved her, to go chase after her.

Extra side plot with a bit about Yoyo’s background. Yoyo used to be a rich girl in another city with a powerful martial artist father. However he was killed in a fight and she ended up working at a brothel. The Police Captain reminds Derek that he was actually the one who killed Yoyo’s father..
