And the action continues..approaching the end!

As I had thought, Raymond deliberately rejected Myolie and pretended that he only did to take revenge on her to make her leave him, so he could commence with his plan with Power. They hope to gather evidence against the Vice President for his betrayal to the country and hope to rescue the President at the same time. On the day the Vice President was having his celebration for successfully become the President (‘Si Jerng’), Power disguised as a waiter and sticks a knife behind his back, using him as hostage. He wanted to free the President but the Police Captain, Derek, Raymond and a group of men arrive and surrounds them.

Power eventually gets captured, and Raymond was forced to beat him up to mislead the bad guys that he was on their side. However, the Police Captain saw through his act and decided to send men to follow Raymond to watch his every move.

Myolie left the Capital and returned to the countryside to find Selena, where she finds out that Vincent was alive! =) She tells them what has happened, and that the President is actually captured.

Melissa becomes upset and uneasily when she hears Myolie talk about loving a man because she thought she was referring to Vincent. Myolie tells Melissa that there was just a misunderstanding in Shanghai and that she doesn’t have any sort of relationship with Vincent. Finally cleared!!

They find Fred who turned out to be following Myolie and protecting her from a distant. He didn’t understand why Raymond was being so slack to her yet still cared about her safety and sent him to protect her. Myolie decides to return to the capital with Vincent to find out about the truth.

Melissa wanted to go with the two as well~ Even though Vincent told Melissa it would be dangerous and that she should stay, she said she’d rather be in danger than to worry about Vincent not knowing what was happening and Vincent finally agrees! ^^ She wanted to be there for him =3

On the other hand, when someone reported to the Japanese Sect people that they saw Vincent and that he was alive at the Countryside, the very furious man decides to take revenge for Ellesmere by attacking them! He came with the Sect people and started attacking the whole town looking for Vincent.

He was very powerful and beat up Kenneth and almost kills him. In attempt to save Kenneth and attack the man, Selena gets badly injured! Vincent arrives defeating him, however..he came too late. Selena ends up getting dying from her injuries..and with her last words, she asks Melissa to help look after her son, and raise him up like her own …to be the boy’s mother in replace of her ..omg…I can’t believe this…how selfish can Selena get?? How about Melissa and Vincent?? Could this be the obstacle that separates Vincent and Melissa??

Because of the promise Melissa made, she was not able to travel back to the Captial with Vincent since she had to stay behind and look after Selena’s son =(

Melissa: I’ve helped you pack your things. Originally I planned to go to the Captial with you..but now something happened to Selena, and her son is still so young, I can’t leave him.
Vincent: I understand.
Melissa: I planned to go to the Captial with you because I was scared you’ll do things without much thought and that at least I’ll be by your side to remind you..and if, if something really did happen, and we had to die, we can could die together..but now..

//awww…I’m so moved!!! Especially how she was prepared to die with him..T_T

so sad..I hate seeing the two separate.. T_T such sweet moments~

And so, Myolie, Vincent and Fred head off and as they take a break, Vincent and Myolie share some moments of awkwardness, as Myolie realised he was still distancing himself from her. Myolie deliberately got Fred away so they could talk.

Vincent: I’ll…wander around.
Myolie: “Mo Ma”, do you feel awkward and unnatural around me? *Vincent gives an uneasy smile and looks away*
Myolie: I’m really sorry. I know you’re really bothered about the incident in Shanghai. But actually, everything is just a misunderstanding…

Finally everything is cleared between them xD I wonder if Myolie actually told him it was Raymond instead..? Probably not..lol

Back at the captial, Raymond realises he is being followed by the Police captain’s men and he sees Myolie! Because he didn’t want the men to get suspicious, he continued to act cold towards her and she started asking him if he ever loved her. In the talk, Myolie shows Raymond a piece of paper saying “Mo Ma is not dead” and Raymond was really relieved and happy (^^). He whispers her to get Vincent to find Yoyo, and they continued on with the act as they walk in separate ways.

Through Yoyo, Vincent finds out the truth as well as Derek being “controlled”/”used” by the Police Captain. Vincent tries to convince Yoyo to work with him to arrest them and that it was best for Derek to free himself ( even though Derek would get punished as well). Yoyo tells him that she’ll consider it.

The next day, Myolie and Vincent were a bridge where they were supposed to meet Yoyo. However, Derek arrives instead, showing them that Yoyo couldn’t possibly betray Derek and the Police captain and his men surround them. Luckily, Vincent and Myolie were able to escape (and seemed like Derek didn’t spend much effort to capture tem, deliberately freeing them) and Fred lead them to find Raymond =)

Forgiveness…and finally become friends ^^

Myolie: Back then you already knew Derek’s plans..and didn’t want me to stay because you were scared I would be in danger, so you treated me like you did on our wedding day, isn’t it?
Raymond: I’m sorry. I was scared..you’ll get dragged into it too. At first I thought I could give you happiness. I couldn’t believe that now you’ll have to risk your life with me.
Myolie: As long as I’m with you, whether risk or pain, I’ll still feel happiness. No matter if you yell at me, or try get me away, I won’t leave you…

//awww…I feel happy for this couple =)

The Vice President, Police Captain, Derek and Raymond were discussing about Vincent’s return and the fact he did not die. Raymond starts suggesting to the bad guys to leak out false news that they were shifting the president to another prison and should set a trap to capture Vincent. The Police Captain knows Raymond is allied with Vincent so plans to fool him by sending men there instead. When Yoyo overhears Derek and Police Captain’s conversation, she couldn’t stand it anymore because she hated the way Derek was forced to kill people that he didn’t want to. The Police Captain orders a servant to send her back into her room. Yoyo breaks the mirror and uses a piece to cut her wrists so when the servant went to get first aid, she manages to escape!

Raymond and Vincent attempt to save the president, but Yoyo gets there to tell them that it was actually a trap! The Police Captain and all this men surrounded the three of them! Derek arrived too and Yoyo yelled out to use her as hostage. The Police Captain wouldn’t believe Raymond would kill Yoyo so decided to shoot them anyway! Because Yoyo meant everything to Derek, Derek takes the vice-president as hostage!

Another very exciting episode!!

Raymond gets really upset and drunk thinking about the things Myolie had said to him. That night, Myolie was walking along the streets because she didn’t want to go back. A ‘crazy’ woman mistakes her as her granddaughter and starts offering words of advice to her and that she should try compromise with him and try to let him have his ways at times. Myolie learns from Fred that the women has turned crazy because she waited for her husband to return from the war but he never did. (I think the woman is now living in regret and reminds Myolie to treasure her loved one). Myolie decides to return to Raymond’s side because she still loves him and takes care of him that night, who was still drunk. When Raymond wakes up the next morning to find Myolie back with him by his side, he was really happy (and surprised) because he thought that she would have left him. He apologises and wants to ask for her forgiveness, but Myolie showed him that she has already forgiven him and he becomes really touched. awww…haven’t seen a Raymond like that in a long time. He was genuinely moved how she stayed by his side so proposes to Myolie and she happily agrees ^^aww..so sweet!

During a celebration among the Chong Long Sect for Myolie and Raymond’s wedding, everyone is happily drinking, especially Fred who feels very touched because he saw how the two first met, all the obstacles they went through and is happy they’re finally about to get married. When they head back, Raymond goes up to Fred who is puking where Raymond finds a dead body behind some wall! It turned out to be the “witness” who saw Vincent kill Ellesmere. Being very suspicious, Raymond goes to find Derek who is with the Police Captain. Raymond knows there is more to that than what appears on the surface but they tell him that he should leave it as it is, and shouldn’t question. They remind Raymond that there was no use finding out more because it wouldn’t help with his position as Wah Mang Wui leader and he should be happy that it’s over since Vincent is dead. They also blackmail Raymond to work with them or else they’ll announce his “Secret” (bed scene with Myolie in Shanghai) to everyone >__< Omg…

On the other hand, Melissa is back at the countryside and is very worried about Vincent because they haven’t heard any news about him yet and it has been a long time. She wanted to go back to find him but Kenneth and the others don’t let her because it would be too dangerous and there were more mountain thieves. That night, Melissa secretly sneaks out and attempted to travel to the Captial without the others knowing~ I was so scared for her!! A girl traveling herself and in the dark night >__<) She ends up encountering two bad men but luckily Vincent appears just in time and saves her!! He’s alive!!!:D aww…they’re finally reunited!! ! <3 Vincent XD

Kenneth built a house for Vincent..and Melissa ^^; Vincent was so lost lol

A gang of mountain thieves attacked the village and captured the head of the town (one who beat up the “Mo Hai” and had grudges against Vincent since episode 1). All the men in town gather together to defend their homes and Vincent manages to save the man =) The man was very grateful that Vincent saved his life and feeling remorse for how he used to treat Vincent. However, Vincent had already learned to let go. The head decided to decrease the taxes on the village and everyone is happy. Now the villagers all live in harmony and everyone decided to learn Taichi off Vincent to protect themselves ^^ Aww…such a peaceful life now that Vincent is back to the Countryside. This was what they had wished for after he won in the competition…to be able to return to the countryside away from all the fighting.

Back at the Wah Mang Wui, they got Derek to join in>_< Now the whole place is under the Vice-president’s influence and his followers (like the Police Captain) and even Raymond is blackmailed =( Yoyo kept having nightmares for killing Ellesmere and couldn’t stand it anymore. She was feeling too guilty..

While Raymond and Fred were walking along the streets as they were preparing things for the wedding, one of the president’s followers ran up to Raymond and wanted to tell him something but the Police Captain shoots him dead before he got the chance. Raymond goes to find Derek again because he didn’t understand why the Police Captain was so desperate to kill the man..like, what was the man about to tell him? (They haven’t killed the President yet because they are still looking for some contract). As Raymond was leaving Yoyo and Derek’s place after Derek refused to comment, Yoyo threw a scrunched up piece of paper down to Raymond. It was the poem Ellesmere had wrote to Yoyo and Raymond recognises his writing!

That night, Raymond climbs into Yoyo’s room and she tells him the truth!!! She felt so guilty so she wanted to confess…he fact that she was the one who killed Ellesmere >__< Raymond becomes so shocked to realise Vincent was actually innocent and that he had really killed the wrong person T_T

Raymond always believed Vincent was the one…This drives Raymond insane and filled with guilt!! awww.…he ran to his father’s grave and starts blaming himself, saying what a disgrace and failure he was and how he killed Vincent..Power was watching and following him the whole time. He finally came out to confront Raymond. He started yelling at him for what a failure he was! He told Raymond that after he lost to him in the fight, he didn’t just give up on his life but continued to be very alert on what was going on. It was obvious to him Vincent killing Ellesmere was very suspicious but Raymond was too blinded by his hatred for him that he couldn’t see…sigh..Power lost to Raymond so many times yet he didn’t give up, saying what a hopeless person Raymond was. But wow.. Power’s words of encouragement and yelling at him finally got through to him =) What is left for Raymond to do was to stop the Vice President’s wrong doings. The vice president and his men have already taken over Wah Mang Wui and the two decide to work together to bring them down!

//I’m glad Power is back on Raymond’s side and is there to support him =)

When Raymond returns, it was the night before their wedding so Myolie and Raymond couldn’t see each other face to face so Myolie and Raymond were having a conversation between the door. it looked like Raymond really wanted to see her or say something to her.. Myolie started talking about what she thinks their future would be like after they get married and about their kids. When she mentions about hoping their son would be as clever and righteous like Raymond, he feels really bad and walks off..

The morning of the Wedding Ceremony arrives but Raymond goes missing. They find him at a brothel surrounded by women.

Myolie: Hiu Sing, What’s happening?
Raymond: Nothing special. You can find other men, what’s wrong with me finding other women?
Myolie: What are you saying?

Raymond: That time when you were at Shanghai, the thing you did with Vincent, you think I don’t know?Last night I went to find you, I gave you a chance to be honest, but you didn’t. How long did you plan to hide it from me?
Myolie: I’m sorry..I didn’t mean to hide it from you. I was just scared that you’ll care/look down on me.
Raymond: That, I won’t. Since you’re my person anyway. Don’t understand? I’ll tell you. That night at Shanghai, wasn’t Vincent. It was me. What? Disappointed? Too bad, I already killed Vincent, you can’t find him to compensate even if you wanted to.
Myolie: Why….why…?
Raymond: You’re asking me why!? Why don’t you ask yourself why you treated me like you did!? I can do anything for you, but you only have Vincent in your heart!
Myolie: If you hate me so much, why did you still have to be so nice to me? Why did you promise to marry me?
Raymond: I spent so much time so I can have my revenge. I want you to feel the taste of being abandoned/rejected and played on.
Tears rolled down Myolie’s eyes.
Myolie: ..revenge..
Raymond: You can yell if you want to, since I already accomplished my goal.
Myolie: Hiu Sing…congratulations…. You were once the man I loved most. Now, you’ve become the person who has hurt me the deepest…

//awww…another sad scene..Both Myolie and Raymond were hurt by this scene. I think Raymond is only doing this so Myolie won’t be involved with his plans. He doesn’t want her to be in danger and I felt that he was feeling guilty himself and wanted to let Myolie know in a way that he was the man he spent the night with at Shanghai, because she had the right to know. He didn’t want to lie to her, thinking back I think he might of wanted to tell her the night before when he was outside her room. Or perhaps he feared since the Police Captain was blackmailing him and he could possibly tell Myolie, Raymond felt he should be the one telling her, and that she shouldn’t be hearing it from someone else..It’s just as painful for Raymond, haven’t to put on such an act.

Such Excitement!!

Vincent fights the Sect leader and eventually wins by throwing him off the stage, but grabs onto his arm so he wouldn’t hurt himself =) Such a nice guy <3 and the audiences were cheering on for him too.

The Police Captain got Derek to secretly kill the Sect Leader internally, so shortly after the match, the Sect leader dies! Everyone blames it on Vincent, thinking he actually injured him badly in the fight! The president continued to defend Vincent because he knows he isn’t that type of person. Since there wasn’t “real” evidence, the match commenced but this has caused a lot of tension in the “Wah Mang Wui”. Upon hearing this, Raymond hated Vincent even more~ Is he trying to find more excuses to defeat him? This also reminds me of the time after Master Kwan dies…

The final match between Vincent and Raymond begins! Kenneth and “Mo Hai” came along to the capital to support Vincent 🙂 Raymond was burning with anger and hatred in him while Vincent was very clam. Raymond lost to Vincent really badly but Raymond kept getting back up. He started using all sorts of attacks, and started mixing in Japanese-style kicks etc but was still no match to Vincent. It is very obvious that Vincent’s Taichi levels has skyrocketed since they last fought.

Eventually Vincent was declared the winner when Raymond faints on the stage… I don’t like seeing Raymond lose so badly like that >_< he even had to be carried off the stage… but I’m really happy that Vincent won. Myolie kept crying when she saw Raymond like that..

Even though Vincent won, he didn’t want to take on the position for “Wah Mang Wui” leader because he promised Melissa that he’ll return to the Countryside with her. He hoped to announce this news on the official day.

Back at Chong Long Sect, Myolie went to find Raymond who was in total depression. Everyone was very worried about him because he tried acting “normal”. He started playing his violin and asked Myolie for some advice about the piece of music.

Myolie: Hiu Sing, don’t be like this.
Raymond: What? I’m only playing the violin.
Myolie: I know that you lost to Vincent, and has had a big impact on you, but in life there’s always ups and downs. You lost this time, it doesn’t mean you can’t win it back next time.
Raymond: You know this piece of music? “Ba Se” wrote it to his wife, so with other music-
Myolie: Hiu Sing, I know it’s very hard to accept the fact that you lost to Vincent, but whats happened has happened. You’ll only make everyone worry about you like this. Everyone still supports you, even if you lost this time, next time you can-
Raymond slams the violin onto the table.
Raymond: Four times. After you came in, you said that I lost four times. I know I lost to Vincent! And I got defeated until I fell over and didn’t even know how I lost! And lost until I had to be carried away! This I’m very clear! You don’t have to remind me! I know how everyone outside sees me. Everyone is saying that the Chong Long Sect leader got beaten up Vincent that he couldn’t even get up. A whole “Chong Long” (Dragon) got defeated like a bug!
Myolie: No one sees you like that.
Raymond: Father and 2nd Si-Sok wanted me to take on Chong Long Sect. They wouldn’t have thought I couldn’t even get back up.

Myolie: Hiu Sing, you still have a long path ahead of you. That time, Chong Long Sect was only a little small Sect. Your father and 2nd-Sok kept on going, that’s how we have the Capital’s top-ranked Sect today. Through the process, they experienced a lot of mistakes and defeats, but they never gave up. You can’t just give up now.
Raymond: Capital’s top-ranked Sect , isn’t anymore…because I lost it. My father and 2nd Si-Sok’s life’s efforts got destroyed in my hands.
Myolie: Hiu Sing, if you keep going on like this, you’ll never be able to get back up. The past isn’t important, the important thing is the future!
Raymond: Not important? I lost until I was lying on the floor, lost like a bug(?), what future do I have?
Myolie: It doesn’t matter how other people look at you. The most important thing is how you look at it yourself. If you’re willing to-
Raymond: I don’t care how other people see me as, it’s you! I wanted to defeat Vincent to show you! I want to prove to you that I am stronger than him. I have more rights to be your man.
Myolie: Hiu Sing..
Raymond: But what did I prove!? I just proved that I’m a bug, I lost to him from start to end.
Myolie: It’s not like that. In my heart you’re not like that..
Raymond: Why didn’t you leave? Why didn’t you leave when you saw me getting beaten up? Every time Vincent gets beaten up you’d just run away. Why didn’t you run this time? Why did you have to watch til the end!? And see me on the floor! Is it that when you see Vincent beaten you feel hurt, but when you see me getting beaten up you feel happy?
Myolie: No..no..no..I just wanted to stay to support you. I didn’t want to leave you alone.

Raymond: Did you know that, that was the look I didn’t want people to see the most? The one I don’t want seeing me lose is you! Why did you have to be there!? Why were you there this time? Last time I defeated Vincent, you ran away. This time I got defeated until I couldn’t get back up and you were here! Why!?= = =

The Japanese Dojou people were sticking up “Wanted” posters of Ellesmere as they have yet to find out his whereabouts. The Police Captain’s plans commenced and uses Derek to find Raymond. Derek takes him to a fake witness, saying that he found Ellesmere’s body and that he was killed by Vincent!

Raymond looked very scary. He wanted Vincent to die >__<

On the day when Vincent was to be announced the new leader of the “Wah Mang Wui” (since Paul has died), all the other Sect leaders refused to accept him, threatening to quit the “Wah Mang Wui” if Vincent was going to be the leader =_= What bunches of trashy people and sore losers …When Vincent announces that he doesn’t plan to take on the position, but only used the opportunity to prove the power of Taichi, this causes the other Sect leaders to become more furious! Adding to the tension, Raymond arrives “revealing” that Vincent had killed Ellesmere! The police arrive including ones from the Japanese Government and Vincent gets captured and imprisoned!

Myolie not believing that Vincent would kill Ellesmere

Vincent realises that it was dangerous for Melissa to stay at the Capital because it was obvious someone is deliberately accusing him. He manages to convince Melissa, Kenneth and “Mo Hai” to return to the countryside first and that he’ll be ok. Aww..so sad to see them separate again!  🙁 The president is on his side and will help find out who the real murderer is to prove him innocent.

The President (“Si Jerng”) undergoes investigation and finds out about the Police Captain and Vice president’s evil plans and wrong doings (allied with Switzerland people in hope to overthrow his position). He realises they were using Vincent, but he was their real target.

The Police Captain planned to secretly kill off Vincent so the truth will be buried and that he could take all the blame for Ellesmere’s death. Luckily the president came and saved Vincent but he ends up getting captured instead! The president gets arrested for freeing the “criminal”.

The people continued to search for Vincent and he eventually gets found! The crowd of men all go after him! He was so outnumbered and eventually gets chased to the edge of a cliff. The fight continued there, but when a gunshot was fired, Vincent gets distracted where Raymond kicks him off the cliff!! =( Everyone cheers for Raymond, saying he is the hero for killing Vincent >_<

All the Sects support Raymond to take on the “Wah Mang Wui” leader position because he killed Vincent, one who they all believed deserved to die for killing Ellesmere, the other Sect leader etc… And since Raymond’s father was previously the “Wah Mang Wui” leader, they thought he was well deserved to take on the position. Of course Raymond was really happy *sigh* He was able to “redeem” his title, Chong Long sect, and his rival Vincent was gone…argh..so frustrating to see what Raymond has turned into!

When Raymond returns…

Myolie: What happened? Is Vincent captured already? I’m asking you, did you capture him already? How is he now?
Raymond: You still care about this issue.
Myolie: Well, we know each other..
Raymond: Vincent is dead. Did you hear? He is dead. I kicked him down the cliff.
Myolie: You kicked him off a cliff? Why did you do that for??
Raymond: Why? Vincent killed Ellesmere, it’s one life for another life, that’s justice!
Myolie: The truth hasn’t even come out yet, how can you just accuse him as being the murderer!?
Raymond: You still thinking about Vincent? Feeling heartbroken?
Myolie: Don’t you have any feelings after killing someone?
Raymond: Vincent deserves to die!
Myolie: No matter how much you hate him, it’s still a life. How come you’ve changed into this…?
Raymond: You think I killed him because I couldn’t take it that I lost to him? Vincent is the murderer! I’m just acting judgment on him!
Myolie: You honestly ask yourself, if he wasn’t Vincent would you be so certain he is the murderer!?
Raymond: All the evidence is here, everyone knows he’s the murderer! You’re still defending him? Even after he’s dead!?
Myolie: I’m not trying to defend for him! You’re the one who just has something against him! You weren’t like this before..you, more than anyone were able to let go and forgive. But now, just because of a moment’s anger, you can easily take away someone’s life.
Raymond: In your eyes, I’m that type of person?
Myolie: I don’t want you to turn into a person like that!

Raymond: Well I’ll tell you, I’m not like that! I killed Vincent because he deserved to die, if it was anyone else I’d do the same!

Myolie: I just want to ask you one thing. Before you did..did you even have a moment of thought of letting him go?… Did you ever consider whether you must kill him?
Raymond couldn’t answer..

I really hate Raymond’s character in this episode, he’s changed so much…*sigh* I hope he’ll be able to find his way back to the right path..soon =( Raymond is getting used without knowing ~

I’m really happy to see all those who also enjoy the series as much as I do and constantly coming back to check out the Taichi Screencaps and Summaries! I will work hard to finish off the remaining episodes~~ (so sad that it’s coming to and end!) But stay tuned =)

The Master of Taichi..FOREVER!! <3 Mo Ma and Song Ching ^^

Lots of awesome fighting scenes =) The battle for the “Wah Mang Wui” leader position begins!

The first match is between Raymond and Power. At first Raymond used a mixed of attacks, merging parts of “Chong Long” attacks with the Japanese ones. Power gets angry of course and dares him to use pure “Chong Long” moves to fight him. Raymond does and at the end, Raymond is still able to defeat him 🙂 Power gets looked down upon and kicked out of the other Sect because he lost.

The next match is Vincent’s turn to fight but the opponents side capture Melissa and forces him to lose to them or they will kill Melissa. Myolie couldn’t stand watching Vincent getting beaten up on stage so she run out of the room, making Raymond feel really bad. While she was outside, she notices Melissa in a car between two men and realises that they have captured her as hostage against Vincent. Myolie runs back in and tells Raymond who saves Melissa and frees her 🙂 When Melissa calls out to Vincent, he realises that she was OK so he fought back and won!! ~ yay!~

Melissa hugs Vincent after the match when she was freed. How sweet! <3 I’m really happy that Myolie and Raymond helped save Melissa =)

Vincent thanks the two for saving Melissa but Raymond tells him he’s only saving her because he wants to defeat Vincent himself and won’t let him lose before he gets the chance.

However, on the other hand, Raymond confesses his disapproval of Myolies’ actions and his inner insecurities and anger is revealed again.

Myolie: I know that you’re upset because I left the fight halfway before, am I right? I saw Vincent getting beaten up, yes, it was true that I couldn’t bear to watch on, but that’s just because I don’t want to see a person I know getting beaten up like that. That’s it.
Raymond: I understand. But that’s still Vincent.
Myolie: It’s not like that. I already put that down everything. When I saw Vincent and Melissa just then, I knew in my heart that he’s not in my heart anymore. And I won’t have any of those types of feelings towards him. Seeing the two like that now, I feel really happy for them. You don’t believe me?
Raymond: It’s not that I don’t believe you. It’s just that I remembered some things in the past.
Myolie: The past?
Raymond: The first time I fought with Vincent was at that contest thing. You suddenly screamed. The second time I challenged Vincent, you ran away half way. At that time I thought it was because you were worried and scared that I’d get hurt. Thinking back, I’m really silly.
Myolie: So you still don’t believe me..
Raymond: I’ve been silly so many times, I don’t want to be silly anymore.
Myolie: Then if it is like this, why didn’t you just let me leave before?
Raymond: I still won’t let you go. I will keep you by my side, and let you watch how I am going to defeat Vincent. I will let you see how Vincent will lose until he has nothing. I will make you forget him once and for all.
Myolie: Hiu Sing, no matter if you win or lose, in my heart..
Raymond: I definitely won’t lose. I said that I’d prove to you that I am more worthy than him to love you.

The next match was Vincent again Vs. another Sect. Even though Vincent claims his injuries are “just on the surface”, Melissa was really worried about him so called in a doctor for his wounds. Little did they know that the doctor was actually bribed and sent from the opposing group, making Vincent’s wounds even worse, causing his whole body to be poisoned! There was no way he could fight the next day or even get out of bed >__< Argh…so many obstacles for him … Under the persuasion of Derek, Melissa tries to find the president/head to extend the date, which could have caused much more problems for the president if he continued to defend for Vincent. Raymond also tries to persuade them to let Vincent recover first, but the argument came down to being fair to the other Sect. Melissa didn’t want Vincent to fight because she’s scared that he’ll get killed. She knows that Vincent would fight no mater the condition. Melissa had ‘no choice’ but to lie to Vincent, telling him that the date of the fight was extended! Raymond realises how injured Vincent was, so attempts to find the opponent’s master to request for an extension, and the old man willingly agrees. The old man didn’t know about the issue from his disciples. However, on the actual day, the old man took back his words (influenced from his disciples) and the fight commenced!

The other Sects kept proposing that to have Vincent forfeit the match since he didn’t appear.

Raymond managed to pleaded for an 1/2hour extension and runs off to the hospital to find Vincent and inform him of what was going on. Vincent realised Melissa had lied to him but he reminds her of how much the fight meant to him. He also reminded her of the words of encouragement she gave him (near the beginning of the series) not to run away but bravely face the fight. Despite the injury, Vincent goes to compete. It turned out to be Vs. another Taichi Master.

This was another awesome fight scene and in the end, Vincent managed to throw his opponent off the stage! However, Vincent faints shortly after so they declared the match to be a draw, and a rematch is rescheduled =__=…

At least Vincent is able to recuperate for the rematch.

The opponent’s sect attempted to switch competitor but the Sect’s head (Jerng Moon) finally stood up, because he couldn’t bare seeing his disciple act in such a disgraceful way. The competitor, including the Taichi fighter weren’t even from their Sect.The old man decides to come out and compete for himself..At least there’s a nice guy somewhere.

The old man told Vincent not to go easy on him even though he is an elder. Vincent and the man begin to fight. In the audience, the police captain hints to Derek that “How do you think everyone would response if Vincent killed the old man, and then eventually became the leader of Wah Mang Wui?”

Derek: Vincent would definitely not use strong attacks on an respected elder.

Police Captain: How powerful his attacks are, are hard for audiences to tell, unless he doesn’t even touch the man at all. As long as Vincent touches him, there’s a possibly to cause internal injuries. You’re an Martial Arts Master, nothing can be hard for you..

Myolie plans to leave Raymond after she got rejected, but Fred tries to keep her.

Fred: Miss Yin, what’s wrong? Where are you going? If Jerng Moon (Raymond) comes back and finds you missing, he’ll go crazy.
Myolie: He won’t. I told him that I’ll marry him and he didn’t have any reactions. I think it’d be more suitable for me if I leave here.
Fred: How could that be? Is it because he’s under a lot of pressure preparing for the competition that he’s gone crazy?
Myolie: I’m the one who is crazy. If it were me, I’d probably do the same. He used to be so nice to me, yet I left him, but now, everything is different and then I return to him. He already gave up on me.
Fred: No, why would he? If he did, why would he take you back here?
Myolie: Maybe he just did under impulse back then. Maybe he suddenly remembered the thing between Vincent and I. Honestly, what man wouldn’t mind? But I don’t blame Hiu Sing, I just have to blame myself for not valuing him in the past. I took it upon myself.
Raymond: Ji Kuai, you can’t leave.
Myolie: Let me go, leave a bit of dignity for me.
Raymond: No, I won’t let you go. Didn’t you say you were willing to marry me? If you run off, who will marry me?
Myolie: What did you say?
Raymond: Previously I was in dilemma because I will have to fight Vincent. I was scared that I’d lose. I’m scared I won’t be able to look after you, and can’t give you happiness- but I’ve thought it through. Since I love you, I definitely can’t lose. No, I should say, I won’t lose. I will prove to you I love you more than he does, and value you more. Ji Kuai, wait for me. Once I defeat Vincent, we’ll get married.

I’m starting to like Myolie again. She’s really sweet with Raymond and I think the background music really helps.

Ellesmere goes to find Yoyo again and gives her a rose and a poem which he wrote for her. He confess his love for her, but she rejects him again because she is already in love with Derek, who appears. Understanding this, Ellesmere leaves the couple.

When Derek is drinking wine by a bridge, the three ‘fakeos’ go finding him blackmailing him for more money (or they’ll tell everyone that he was the one who was behind the fake drugs) Coincidentally, Ellesmere sees everything including Derek killing the three guys off. When Derek notices Ellesmere, Derek tries to kill him as well, severely injuring him but Ellesmere manages to escape. Ellesmere runs to find Yoyo pleading for her help and decides to take her away with him because of what he saw Derek do.

Yoyo starts begging Ellesmere not to reveal Derek’s doings. He becomes really angry that she was still defending him and she threatens him with a knife!

In the struggle, Ellesmere gets stabbed! The Police Captain comes in and seeing the scene, he covers up Ellesmere’s mouth, killing him off.

Later when Raymond is informed from the Japanese Dojou people that Ellesmere has been missing for days, he starts to get worried because Ellesmere didn’t have many friends in the Captial either. He thinks of the girl he mentioned before so decides to find Yoyo and ask. Raymond appeared surprised to see Derek with her and the two deny that she has even met him before. Raymond decides to find out about the relationship between the two and about their past.

On the other hand, when Vincent overhears that there has recently been a lot of mountain thieves especially from the route to Melissa’s hometown/countryside, he gets very worried for Melissa’s safety and decides to make his way there too. Vincent follows them back to the Country side, protecting them all the way, but he doesn’t come out to see them or let them know. awww…so sweet~~

Melissa kept sensing Vincent’s presence ^^

At the village, a group of men tied up a boy and start beating him up because he ‘stole’ something, just like how they used to treat Vincent when he was a little boy. The other villagers couldn’t do much but watch because the men had power in the village and Kenneth’s mother stopped Kenneth from causing trouble for himself. Kenneth’s mother mentioned the scene reminded her so much of when Vincent was a little boy 🙁 Luckily Vincent comes out and saves the poor kid! :D Vincent is so cool!!

The boy turns out to be an orphan and didn’t have a home or a family. He has been left on the streets with no one who cared about him and was often picked on =( Vincent feels really close with the boy because they share a similar past and decided to accept him as a disciple, to teach him Taichi and to look after him, ^__^ aww..this is so cute! They also end up naming the boy “Mo Hai” (Feather boy?) and the little boy was really happy too!

//I really like how they made reference to Vincent’s past and that they’ve returned back to the village where everything started. The one who has changed so much is Vincent =)

Selena receives the news that Myolie will be marrying Raymond and they were all really happy for her. Even though Vincent didn’t say, it was obvious the reason he came back to the Country side was because of Melissa. Everyone wants Melissa and Vincent to get together, and Kenneth even hinted to him that it would be like one family- Vincent, “Mo Hai” and Melissa <3 I liked watching the scenes with Vincent looking after the boy. So sweet. He is caring for the boy like how Master Kwan did for him and brought him up.

Selena and Kenneth set up an opportunity for Melissa and Vincent to talk to each other, but Vincent doesn’t end up saying anything and Melissa continues to wash clothes XD While Selena and Kenneth were spying on them from a distance, a snake appears (and scares Selena?) making Selena gives birth to her baby boy! Luckily Melissa was there and helped her deliver the baby 🙂 They decided to make the boy Melissa and Vincent’s godson because the two helped Selena give birth=) Vincent promises Melissa that he’ll stay with them in the countryside to help raise the children up together 😀 AWww..so sweet! Vincent chose Melissa over Taichi <3 and decide not to return to the Captial. ^^

At first Melissa was really happy, but then she knows that Vincent deep down actually really wants to compete for “Wah Mang Wui” leadership to help Taichi be known to the world.

Melissa tells Vincent that he should to go back to the Capital, where he should be. Vincent tells her he won’t leave her anymore, but Melissa reassures him that he won’t, because she promises to travel back to the Capital with him, and be by his side to support him all the way!! yay! aww… <3 So sweet! I feel so happy for them! After the fight, the two will return to the countryside and live peacefully away from all the fighting.

At the end of the episode, Power decided to fight for the “Wah Mang Wui” position on behalf of a different Sect! He vows to defeat Raymond because he couldn’t stand him anymore and what Raymond has down to the Sect (Chong Long Pai). Raymond tried to persuade him to come back because he doesn’t want to fight against him (Dai Si Heng) and even offered to give up his position to him! However, when Power asked on a condition that he would also leave Myolie, Raymond refused, making Power even more angry. To Raymond, Myolie was more important to him than Chong Long Pai which he could easily gave up. This reassured Power that has made the right choice to leave the Sect and defeat Raymond~

Vincent tries convincing Melissa to stay with him but she can’t face him anymore. Even though she knew that her father’s death was not his fault, she couldn’t help but blame him for seeing her father, or else they would have left the Captial and perhaps lived happily ever after ..and her father wouldn’t’ have died.

On the other hand, Myolie leaves Vincent (after the scene in episode 18 where she saw Vincent forgive Melissa’s father). She didn’t say anything to him after. She walked off herself, crying. Raymond saw her, asking what was wrong, and where Vincent was. Myolie didn’t say anything but cry and Raymond hugs onto her, telling her that no matter what happens, she’ll always have him. aww..Raymond loves Myolie so much..

Kenneth decides to take in Melissa, and they treat her as one family since she had no where to go. Selena welcomes Melissa back and expresses that she really wants her to stay. She also sets up an opportunity for Melissa and Myolie to talk face to face.

Melissa: I’m sorry, Ji Kuai. If it wasn’t for me..it’s because of my father, I didn’t want Vincent to seek revenge which was why I did it.
Myolie: I understand.
Melissa: My father is already dead, I won’t see Vincent anymore. I won’t interfere with you two.
Myolie: You didn’t interfere with us. From the start, Vincent never loved me. Even if we’re together, it’s just because of responsibility. Living with a person who doesn’t love you is very painful. So many things happened between you two, yet his heart is still towards you. There is no way I can keep him by my side.
Melissa: Ji Kuai..
Myolie: Don’t worry. I gave up on him, I won’t have anymore hope in him. You can freely stay with my sister, that way I’ll feel better. I hope you’ll help take care of my sister.
Melissa: Even if you didn’t ask me, I’ll look after Selena =)

//Wow..just like that, Myolie and Melissa are fine now. The love triangle is resolved. Myolie seems to have changed, I think her hatred for Vincent and Melissa has gone because she seemed genuine in her words. Perhaps she has calmed down and thought it through clearly as well. Perhaps she finally realised how much Raymond meant to her. I hope everything will go well from this moment on for all of them.

Under pressure from the Police Captain, Derek deliberately got three people to join Vincent’s Taichi Sect and ended up using the name as disciples to sell drugs/fake medicine to people, tarnishing the reputation and causing much trouble, especially in the Committee (“Wah Mang Wui”). argh..so annoying. Derek hated what he was doing, betraying Vincent when he was his friend. He doesn’t want to lie to him anymore so deliberately lets Vincent know that he was the one who got the three Fakeos to do that to him, saying he wanted Vincent to be more determined to get the “Wah Mung Wui” leadership position. (Of course though, Derek did not reveal the Police Captain’s true intentions). This causes Vincent to lose trust in Derek and so the Police Captain would not be able to use Derek to get close to him anymore. Derek thought that he was finally free.

Vincent visits Kenneth’s restaurant because he wants to see Melissa. However, Melissa tries avoiding him.

The other martial arts sect disciples often went to cause trouble for Kenneth (as Vincent’s disciple) and his restaurant for selling drugs that killed people. In a fight/struggle, Selena gets hit and falls but luckily the baby was ok. However, to ensure Selena’s safety, the family decides to close down the business and move back to the Country Side. Before Melissa leaves, she makes Vincent a meal and ask a priest to give it to him =3

Aww..it was obvious she didn’t want to leave him and that he didn’t want her to leave. Vincent was now all alone at the Captial by himself.

Meanwhile, Ellesmere (Raymond’s Japanese friend) sees Yoyo getting harassed by her old “customer” and she slaps the man in the face. When the man wanted to get back at her, Ellesmere comes and saves her. Ellesmere fell in love with Yoyo at first sight, but she tells him they’re not suitable together. He thinks she is implying because he is Japanese. He goes to tell Raymond about the the girl who he just met, saying she is “the one” for him. I don’t like his character that much, his character is starting to become a bit annoying.. it’s interesting to have more interaction between the characters though=)

When Myolie hears that Raymond is training really hard to win Vincent for the “Wah Mang Wui” leader position, she goes to find him. To give him motivation and encouragement, Myolie confesses to Raymond that she will marry him if he wins. However, Raymond denies the fact that he had planned to propose to her before (in the first time, Raymond got rejected before Myolie gave him the chance to propose to her). He told her it wasn’t that he didn’t want to marry her, but he didn’t want to think about other matters besides winning. Was it because Raymond was scared that he’d lose the fight?

Myolie: You still care because I was with Vincent, isn’t it?
Raymond doesn’t deny the fact.
Myolie: I understand. I’m the one being silly. Myolie gets upset and walks off.

Later in a talk with Ellesmere, Raymond reveals that he previously spent the night with Myolie when she mistook him for Vincent. He feels he owes her but is scared Myolie is just being with him because she felt sorry for him and doesn’t truly love him. His insecurities were revealed but Ellesmere reassures him that a girl wouldn’t marry a man just because she felt sorry for him/owed him.

“Ji Kwai is willing to be by your side always, and you love her. Why do you still have to reject her? Mo Ma is just your “Sum Mor”, you must get rid of him. The only way is to defeat him in the upcoming competition.”….”Unless you think that you’re not good enough for him, and that he is the only one that’s good enough to be Ji Kwai’s man.”  His words burn into Raymond’s heart and becomes very determined.

In order to train himself to win Vincent, Raymond decides to fight and compete with others in the Black Underground Gambling place..

At the end of the episode, Raymond goes to find Vincent, and officially challenges him.

// I think Raymond’s character is starting to turn bad because of his hatred towards losing to Vincent, especially to Myolie. For him to fight at the Underground “casino” is already stepping over the line for his character. I hope he wouldn’t do whatever it takes to defeat him..please don’t go on the wrong path, Hiu Sing!
