When I saw the preview for this episode, it looked like so bad..and I was so worried that HorMa really wasn’t Grandpa’s daughter and the family was going to be turned upside-down!

After much fuss however, it turns out that SaYi is actually the one who isn’t Grandpa’s daughter!! YAY!! haha take that Sa Yi!! There is no longer any reason to tolerate SaYi’s behavior and attitude anymore  =) They kick her out of the house and her husband leaves her too XD She tried sneaking back into the house twice, pretending to admit her wrongdoings and asking for forgiveness but both times were caught out- once by Ga Mei (haha her own daughter!)  and the other by Chung-Jai. They later decide to change the lock as well! When SaYi is drinking by the wharf, she accidentally steps on the bottle and falls into the water! When she is saved and taken to the hospital, she calls HorMa but she hangs up on her!! ^^;

She seriously deserved it XD! No one is going to listen to her lies and excuses anymore =D I did feel that in the scene where SaYi was drinking by herself that she really did learn her lesson though. However, I hope she will truly redeem herself before she gets accepted back in the family!

As for Linda, she continues to go out with Bosco until she met his girlfriend at the hospital and realises who she was. Later Bosco tells Linda that he plans to break up with his girlfriend and Linda seemed a bit nervous, asking ‘are you sure?’ etc. I thought that Linda somehow has realised she shouldn’t interfere in the relationship anymore so tells Bosco that he doesn’t need to drive her home. However, she quickly changes her mind and asks him to walk home with her -_- I really hate how this is dragging on and on. After walking home, she breaks up with Bosco because she realises how long Bosco has been with his girlfriend. Hopefully Linda will seriously stop seeing him!!

I can’t stand watching Bosco and Linda like this. I really hate how Linda is interfering with Bosco’s relationship again and again and wouldn’t let go when she said she was the one who didn’t want to ruin the relationship.

Later on, Linda calls Raymond and he goes to find her, where Linda starts confessing her guilt and misery…I just felt so sorry for Raymond=(

Linda: You don’t have to worry about me. I feel a lot of pain. I want the rain to rain on me so I can wake up.
Raymond: Yu So Chau, what’s wrong? Tell me.
Linda: I’m really scared. I’m really scared I would be like my mother. I’m scared I’ll follow the same path. I don’t want to…
Raymond: You won’t. You’re not the same as your mum.
Linda: No, I am.. When Ah Sun(Bosco) told me he plans to break up with his girlfriend, I was actually really happy.
Raymond: You are not the same as your mum!S he wouldn’t want herself to wake up, but you want yourself to wake up.
Linda: Goon Ga Jai(Raymond), I know you’re really nice, but I’m scared I won’t wake up.
*Walks away from the umbrella*
Raymond: You want to get rained on, I’ll accompany you.
Linda: I’m suffering…no matter at home, at the hospital, or having tea with Grandma, I’m missing  him. I dont’ know what to do…

In this episode, Fala and Susanna have a joint wedding!! I was so disturbed that Fala had to share her wedding with someone like Susanna >< When the families were discussing about Fala’s wedding, Susanna started complaining that she’ll be having her wedding on the same day; yet she’ll only be having a small one because she has no money and requested they have it together. Other than Grandpa, you could tell everyone else did not want it combined, but Fala wanted Grandpa to be happy so she agreed. What a sweet little girl~

Tavia and Moses were paired up as a couple for Fala’s wedding and Kate got jealous. She deliberately went to talk to Grandpa, saying SaYi doesn’t have a bridesmaid and as a daughter she can’t be it. She suggests to get Tavia to be Sa Yi’s bridesmaid instead of Fala and Kate took her place instead!! So evil and slack!! Tavia looked so sad too =(

JoBao wanted to take out $30million to give to Grandpa in case something happened to him and Raymond and the others needed it. Michelle got pissed off when she found out and tried stopping him but JoBao proceeded anyway. When Ah Hong bumps into HorMa at the restaurant toilets; she slaps her across her face, calling her ‘Wu Lei Jeng‘!!..poor HorMa! She was sick and looked so weak and defenseless >< HorMa didn’t even have the strength to fight back =(

Later Ah Hong ends up telling Sa Yi that JoBao had given money to her father!! Sa Yi kept harassing Grandpa for the money- Geez, can’t she understand the money isn’t even his??

On the wedding day, Susanna continued to cause more trouble. While the rest of the family were having a great time, someone was saying how many people who gave born in 1955-56 at a certain hospital got their children mixed up, and SaYi was convinced that HorMa is not Grandpa’s real daughter! SaYi and her husband-to-be start digging HorMa’s room for her blood test results etc, saying that she is type AB, and Grandpa being O cannot possibly give birth to a AB type o_o

Feeling very ‘ripped off’, SaYi refused to get married unless Grandpa gave her ‘her share’ of money and then threatened to ruin the wedding. A huge fuss was caused but luckily Grandma saves the situation by promising she’ll give her a huge gift that would last her her lifetime. SaYi thinking Grandma meant a large sum of money, happily commenced with the wedding XD Seriously, a wedding is a wedding, if she doesn’t want to get married, then she shouldn’t. It looked like Grandma was paying her because she wanted SaYi to get married or something. Really she couldn’t care less XD

I loved the scene at the end where Grandma and Sa Yi were arguing (when SaYi found out the truth XD)!! I knew Grandma wasn’t really going to give her money! I really enjoy watching Grandma sticking up for HorMa and her grandchildren =D

On the other hand, while Raymond was at a jewelry store choosing a present for Fala, he sees Linda holding hands with Bosco and becomes sad… but when Linda sees him, she lets go of Bosco’s hand and introduces him as her colleague.

Later, Raymond sees Bosco with another girl and tells Linda.
Linda: I know, he has a girlfriend.
Raymond: Yu So Chau, other than you leaving for England for 10 years, you used to tell me anything if you were sad. But lately, you haven’t called me for a long time. Is it because of the cake last time?
Linda: No you’re thinking too much. We’ll always be one family. I’ll always be your good sister, Yu So Chau from ‘Ka Ho Yuet Yuen Heng Chung Chau‘
Raymond: But you’re unhappy, why aren’t you telling brother?
Linda: There were a lot of times where I wanted to call you, a few times where I dialed a few digits, luckily I stopped myself from calling anymore, because it’s not fair for you. I feel really bad, as long as I don’t answer his phone calls, everything would be ok. Time will clam things down. I’m so useless.

Mid Autumn Festival is here =D!! Happy Mooncake Festival everyone!! ^_^

Ah…for me I think this year’s Mooncake festival particularly stands out amongst other years mainly because of Moonlight Resonance. Since this series revolves around the mooncake shop and about family reunions and gathering, and they often mentioned the 8th Month 15th day of the Lunar calender; serving me as a reminder about this special festival.

Adding to that, for this year’s TVB Jadeworld Carnival last week, we had Moses and Tavia from MR coming to wish us a Happy Festival!

Finally, watching MR has left my craving for Mooncake for a long time!!

[Episode 4-12]

In episode 3, Sunny, by fate,  got possession of a Legendary Sword which was owned by a very powerful swordsman, whose spirit is contained within the sword. Having taken possession of the sword, Sunny was the new owner and only he called see the spirit swordsman. In times of need, the spirit of the swordsman would possess Sunny’s body to fight, leaving Linda very amazed and impressed by Sunny’s sudden heroic fighting skills XD

Thinking it was Sunny all along, his two different personalities and skills – one dopey and weak, and the other heroic and courageous, often left Linda a very puzzled haha..Sunny kept it a secret from Linda because he wanted to impress her lol

In episode 8 when (evil)Benny attacks Linda, (Swordsman)Sunny comes to save Linda, catching her. Linda looked so cute there and Sunny looked so manly XD

In episode 9 after (Swordsman)Sunny and Linda fought the bug creatures, Linda was really excited and held into Sunny’s hand as she waved his sword around, trying to mimic the sword technique he just used. This caused another awkward moment and Benny got jealous when he saw the two.

In episode 10, Linda and Benny saw the spirit Swordsman using these special glasses, and Linda got angry at Sunny for lying to her the whole time. However, they soon quickly make up and continue to become friends.

In Episode 11, Sunny and Linda are climbing on a wall to block off water coming out of the holes and their faces came close to each other ^^

In episode 12, when (Swordsman)Sunny is teaching/practicing swords skills with Linda, Linda gets thrown off and he quickly went to catches her as they spun around. However still, both of them get knocked into a tree where their faces touched each other.

The Swordsman gets embarrassed and feels its a disgrace because he is only devoted to his wife hehe.. After this scene, both of them were thinking the other liked them and there was an awkward situation, but things were cleared up between them soon after ^^ After all, all that’s in Linda’s mind at the moment is to fight evil and save her mother.

It’s kinda cute watching Sunny and Linda together and how he’s jealous that Linda likes the ‘other him'(Spirit Swordsman) because of how courageous he is XD It really feels like Dark/Daisuke from the anime”DNAngel”haha..

Linda is really cute and likable in Demi Gods! Looking forward in seeing more cute scenes!

JoBao tries really hard to make a giant mooncake for the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, since it was a promise he and HorMa made to their children when they were little. He tries to keep his promise and kept trying despite the moon cake collapsing and failing in several attempts. Finally, with the help of his family, the cake was a success!

I was quite moved by watching him =) This year, the family has their dinner on the actual day and this time, Grandma joins them too ^^

The dinner and get-together turned out really smoothly and everyone had a great time =) With everyone there, Dexter also proposes to Fala and she agrees! ahah~almost the youngest in the family and one being mute, she is first to get married!

Tavia was initially really happy for her but then became sad as she hid in her room crying.

Tavia: Ah Hing’s going to get married soon. Not long she’ll have her own family. We can’t be like the same as before, being with each other everyday. Maybe only at special occasions will she come back for dinner, I’ll really miss her.
Moses: You silly thing. You should think of it like this. There has always been seven of us sticking together, now we’re not missing one, we got an extra one-and that’s Kelvin. If you think of it this way, won’t you feel happier?
Tavia: Ah Ka, how were you feeling back then?
Moses: Back then? When?
Tavia: About 10 years ago, back then you were forcefully taken away by Ah Hong, Goon-Ga-Jai(Raymond) and I were pulling you because we didn’t want you to leave us. How were you feeling back then? Did you miss us a lot? Did you hide and cry?
Moses: Of course I did. That time I was really scared. I was scared I would never see you guys again. And then I thought of some very dumb things. Afterward, I was thinking what if, I was 80 years old at an oldpeople’s village and the bed next to me there was an old woman. One day she finally couldn’t resist and came up to me asking, ‘Old person, are you called Gam Wing Ka? I’m a Yuet!’ XD

I thought that was pretty hilarious XD He also said something about the woman looking like some old duck(but not exactly sure haha)

We see another example of Kate getting her way of making Moses buy an expensive bag for her when she didn’t have the money, and even gets Moses to hire her as his second personal assistance. This is bound to bring more trouble to Tavia!

On the other hand, Bosco and Linda are bothering me again. It was only last episode that Bosco told Linda about his girlfriend and the two decided that their relationship won’t work out. Linda was the one who said she won’t interfere and step into the ‘story’, but she goes to find Bosco again. Later, Bosco asks her out again and the two spend another day together…It was as if everything in the last episode never even happened!

Kate appears in this episode and Moses is already head over heels in love with her! XD His initial reaction was quite funny to watch and you can already tell Tavia was not impressed! Tavia and Moses’ reaction to Louis and his mum (thinking either of them were GaMei) was quite entertaining to watch too.

Why did they have to add three more annoying characters? I hope they’re not as bad a Tavia’s family in Heart of Greed. I’m also not convinced that Susanna and Louis love with each other nor can I see what is there to like about either of them XD But oh wells, I’ll let them be.

Kate appears to have control and power over Susanna and even tells her off for her actions when no one else is around. She disapproves her of bringing Louis and his mum home to dinner, calling Tavia ‘Lor Lui’ and blames her for making her in a bad mood and appearing unmanned in front of the family. Kate disapproves Louis being her stepfather and expresses she is unhappy. Susanna apologies and doesn’t argue back o_o I remember there were bits and pieces said through the series about how Susanna didn’t look after Kate very well when she was little, so I wonder if its because Susanna wants to make up for it now or Kate  had always had her ways around? From what it looks now though, Susanna loves her daughter a lot.

Kate and Moses get a long really well and Kate keeps sticking to Moses, making Tavia really jealous! She joins in the gym/dance promotional performance and when they go Karaoke to celebrate the success of the function, Kate was dancing all over Moses -___- You can already tell Kate isn’t as “innocent” as she appears in front of others as she tells Moses about her ‘past’ and how ‘poor’ she use to be, trying to get sympathy.

On the other hand, after Bosco has mysteriously taken the 10 day leave, Linda constantly tries to contact him but with no luck. She leaves him a lot of messages, but he doesn’t reply back to her. I don’t know, I just think its a bit too much?…I’m not even convinced that Linda likes him so much as she shows it and suddenly she bombards him with a lot of messages. After reading his blog online, Linda continues to learn more about his past and how his dad used to sell icecream. She tried to find the ice cream store, asking neighboring stores if they have his home number. Finally, Linda sees him on the streets as she was calling him, and he hangs up on her, leaving in a taxi.

After that, Linda walks aimlessly everywhere and suddenly Bosco hugs her from behind and apologies…I don’t really get it. Was he following her around all those place all along? The two spend more time together as he starts telling her his life story. When he was young, his father worked really hard selling icecream to save up enough for his son’s education. However Bosco wasted it all by skipping school and constantly gambling at a young age. His friend, who was 4 years older him, tried to help bring him back up and but only after his father passed away did he finally realise his wrong ways and ‘woke up’. The friend who has been with him through the hard times since is actually his current girlfriend.

Upon hearing the story, Linda realises that she ‘shouldn’t be in the story, or there won’t be a happy ending’.

Bosco apologies, saying he has the responsibility to give the story a happy ending.

 The two catch the ferry back and Linda takes off in a taxi crying.

Personally I think Bosco is very..unreliable and suspicious. I don’t like how he handles his situation. If he has a girlfriend already, he should have let Linda know in the first place instead of leading her on. He made Linda think he didn’t have a girlfriend! If he was avoiding her, why did he suddenly get back close with her? The way his story was told was kind of weird too. I didn’t even realise his friend who was 4 years older than him was his girlfriend until the “I’m sorry” part. It left me a bit confused! Also, aren’t Bosco and Linda born in the same year and month? If Bosco started off poorly in his education, how did he end up finishing his degree and becoming a doctor, delivering so many babies before Linda officially became a doctor? Or do we just assume that Linda was poor back then too so didn’t get her education until later? Either way, I’m not getting any good feelings when I see Bosco and Linda together anymore =X

**Happy 2nd Anniversary K for TVB!!**

Today marks K for TVB‘s 2nd year online! Just two weeks ago, KforTVB has just reached the 1million hits marks! I was really moved to realise how big this blog has grown in the past two years since it first started up. It is definitely a great feeling, watching the blog grow as I have devoted a lot of time and effort into it and it has become a part of my life =) For the past year, there has been some changes to KforTVB, one being its new domain name “http://k-tvb.net” and the other being it addition of its top affiliates: TVB Musings and TVB Index. I would really like to thank all those who have stayed with me for the two years and for your continuous support and visits! I really do feel a sense of community and satisfaction here; being able to share our love for TVB series together as many have been leaving messages and comments.  I don’t know how much time I will be able to invest in this blog when I start full time work, but I’m really glad to see where it has grown up to today and it wouldn’t have happened if it weren’t for you guys! You guys are my inspiration and keep me going! So last, but not least, thank you chibi, my affiliates, loyal readers and visitors! I will continue to work hard and hope to bring many more great episodic summaries and screencaptures! I know it can achieve much much more in the near future 🙂 Thanks and enjoy your stay!
