Bosco and Linda continue to their relationship ‘undercover’

When Linda is shopping with her mum, they bump into Bosco’s girlfriend who was the sale assistant and Linda becomes uncomfortable and leaves and Ah Hong finds out that Linda is actually the third party in the relationship and assures her that there’s nothing wrong with it -_- Ah Hong also later encourages Bosco not to give up on her daughter that easily.

She recognises Linda’s watch (that Bosco bought) and the 3G phone and invites her out to eat, where she tells her that ‘she knows’ and hints to Linda to back off. She also tells Linda how she had an abortion before when Bosco was in England, but hasn’t told him because she doesn’t want him feeling guilty over it.

When Raymond was there to look after and comfort Linda, she angrily yells at him, saying that’s she wants to be the third party and told him not to bother her again ..omg….what a total argh ><

Linda: Why don’t we settle everything today. Adding last night to the amount I already owe you, I’ll shout you dinner or I’ll buy you a very expensive present. I don’t need you to lend anymore time to me. I’ve already decided that, rather than three people suffering, I’d rather be the bad person for once. I remember when I was young I asked my mum ‘Why do you have to snatch HorMa’s things? Why do you have to hurt HorMa?’ Mum’s right, there’s no wrong in loving someone.

Raymond:You’re not like this. Yo So Chau isn’t like this.
Linda: I am! In a moment later I’m going to call Chi Sun (Bosco) and force him to break up with his girlfriend. If he’s not going to I will. Mum’s right. Fighting for love is like fighting in war. I don’t want to lose! I want to be the one who will win!
Raymond: Don’t say things like that, you’re not like that!
Linda: I am! I’m a selfish person, I’ve never told you that because I was scared that you won’t care about me and keep me company.
Raymond: I know you were unhappy last night, but you don’t have to say that kind of thing about yourself.
Linda: You don’t understand. To you, your world is only as small as the cake shop, you only know how to treat HorMa, AhHeng and the others well.Y ou don’t know what is love! If not, TengTeng(Tracy) wouldn’t have broken up with you! Don’t bother me! I don’t want you in my way! I don’t need you to lend anymore time to me. You’ve mistaken! I’m not the victim here, I’m born to like to steal and snatch things. I am willing to be the third party! I don’t want to see you, don’t get in my way! Let go! Don’t make me hate you! I don’t want to see you!

Later, Linda writes an email to GoonGaJai (that she doesn’t send) expressing how she really feels. Still. I dislike her character and I’m finding her rather annoying.

Goon Ga Jai,
I’m actually very selfish and self-willed. If from the start after I found out he had a girlfriend, and didn’t again and again go to Nam Wah Island with him, if I can be more rational, and more determined, not answer his calls or see him, eyes don’t see, heart doesn’t think, I might have been able to put him down already. To you I am the same, if every time I was sad I didn’t go find you, you wouldn’t have to be like me now; liking someone so painfully. Last night at the bar, when you kept me company for 8 hours I was determined that I can’t go on being so selfish. I don’t deserve you to treat me so nice. I don’t want you to waste your time anymore. I actually don’t mean that you’re bothering me, I don’t want to keep bothering you. It’s now 2:52am. From this minute on, I’ve decided to separate from the two nicest guys in my life. From then on, Yu So Chau will be alone. I rather I suffer myself.

Raymond was so upset when Grandma found him. He couldn’t help but open up to Grandma and pour his eyes out with tears…=( He was so hurt!!  Grandma got him to tell her who the one he liked was.. He knows that Linda was only saying those things because she didn’t want to bother him; but the fact was he wanted to.

Grandma wanted to help Raymond and went into Linda’s room and took some tapes to give to him, where Linda did some recording, about her liking him before but was unsure when they were going to start their relationship.

When Ah Hong notices Grandma around Linda’s room looking through her things (or returning the tapes), Ah Hong digs up Linda’s diary and started reading it, including the email Linda wrote to herself (I thought she deleted it though?)

When the family was over, Ah Hong wanted to openly put Raymond down and humiliate him by telling him off in front of everyone how he’s after his own sister,  how he’s not good enough for her daughter and that they cannot communicate- one being a cake shop boy the other being a doctor. When Grandma appeared to defend Raymond, she blurted out the fact Linda is a third party in a relationship and questioned whether it was easily to ‘communicate’ with someone who already has a girlfriend. Raymond quickly defends Linda and started lying to Grandma, saying he only made that up because he was just jealous of Bosco. Finally, Linda couldn’t stand it anymore and rushes down and speaks out!

Linda: GoonGaiJai, stop hurting yourself! It’s not worth it! Don’t ask anymore (to Ah Hong), yes. I like someone, he has a girlfriend already. I’m the third party in the relationship. I feel so much pain! GoonGaiJai always accompanies me, not because he is pursuing me, he just wants to help me! In my room I have a lot of tape recordings and a lot of letters, not because he is pursuing me! It’s because I once loved him. Afterward, Dr Ling appeared so I gave up in that relationship; that’s how I became a third party and so bad and painful.

Ah Hong: Go back to your room now!

Linda: Other people won’t understand this feeling! You don’t understand this feeling? Now things turned into this, you’re happy now??

Comments: Yay! Another Ray series 😀 This was one of the series I was greatly anticipating this year 🙂 I know, I anticipate every Ray series, but the fact it’s ancient one (and with four good looking cast) with fighting is a plus +! I really like this type of genre and I’m actually anticipating this over Last One Standing. As for the female cast, I’ve never really liked Kate but I do like Selena though. How come she’s not even mentioned in the Synopsis though? I hope she plays more importance in the storyline!

I would have preferred them not to release two Raymond Lam series in a row so I can still watch Raymond later in the year ^^; but I’m not too fussed! I’m really looking forward to this and hope TVB doesn’t fail us in bringing a great series that it can be!

I’m starting to feel the danger for the moon cake business. I’m getting the same fear like that in Heart of Greed when the second wife wants all the assets to herself. When JoBao wanted to come back and work at the his business, Michelle deliberately forces his old-time friends to leave the business.  Michelle is scheming something with her ex-husband (in taking over the moon cake business ) and but only Grandma and Raymond are aware of it. Grandma is also old and fragile but she doesn’t want Raymond telling anyone and plans to deal with the matter herself.

It was quite suspenseful when HorMa went into SaYi’s room when SaYi was actually on a web-camera conversation with Kate’s son! I was really hoping she would realise XD SaYi kept standing in front of the computer and tried to turn off the screen, but then the audio was still on! XD

Tavia decides to let go and not fight back at Kate, nor care whether she has a child or not. She kept her promise to HorMa and Moses that she’ll try her best to help Moses and his company. However, Kate continuously tries to make Tavia look bad in front of Moses. When Moses chose Tavia’s idea for the promotional function instead of Kate’s one, Kate is determined for her one to go ahead. On the day of the event, Kate gets Susanna to make a fake call to Tavia, telling her that Moses went into the hospital! And so, as Tavia rushes off to the hospital, Kate goes ahead with her plan ><

Luckily, they find out the truth and Moses ends his relationship with Kate!! yay!!

This episode was so annoying and I felt so bad for Tavia!

Originally she was going to go on a business trip with Moses to Hawaii and was really excited about it because she’s never been out before! However Kate wanted to go too even though she was not needed and pleaded Moses to bring her with them. That wasn’t enough for Kate though- she wanted to go alone with him >< She took Tavia’s passport, tore it up and threw it in the bin out on the streets and then acted innocent and lied, saying she accidentally left it on the taxi! No one believed Tavia when she angrily confronted her, saying she did it on purpose, because Kate has always acted like a good girl in front of everyone. As a result, Tavia missed out on the trip. One night when Tavia was at the office working, Moses came online and started chatting with her and what was so frustrating about it was it was actually Kate on Moses’ account >< and she pissed her off by showing photos Moses had took with her on the trip, and how much fun they were having.

Sa Yi has moved to another unit in the same block (down stairs I think?) and as Tavia was getting the mail, she saw a postcard written to “Grandma Salina” (i.e Sa Yi) from her grandson who missed her, asking why he was abandoned etc. Confronting SaYi right away, SaYi took the postcard back and denied Kate having a son! When Moses and Kate returned, they declared that they were officially going out and Kate deliberately stirred up Tavia’s heart by acting ‘innocent’ because she couldn’t stand how fake Kate was. She confronted her about her having a son but no one believed her. SaYi and Kate denied it and said she had just sponsored the boy >< Kate & Sa Yi also used the opportunity to make Tavia look bad, saying how she deliberately wanted something to accuse her because she was angry at her for ‘losing her passport’ and that she actually secretly had a crush on Moses! Tavia was so upset … 🙁

Tavia didn’t want to give up easily, and deliberately forges the identity of Kate’s child’s father, asking the orphanage for personal information. However, Susanna and Kate found out and deliberately forged a letter back to Tavia, setting up another trap for Tavia to fall into!! She made it seem like Tavia forged the letter from the orphanage etc to accuse Kate >< Tavia slaps Kate and HorMa slaps Tavia back.. At the end, Tavia ran away from home again after no one believed her..

Finally, Tavia wrote a letter back home..

HorMa, do you remember the last time I ran away from home? You said you were really angry, but at the same time really worried. You don’t have to worry about me, I’m fine. I can look after myself. Last night I walked back to the telephone booth. Last time I ran away form home I hid at that telephone booth. Back then I looked out from the booth and saw you all looking for me everywhere. Grandpa even cried. I’m only adopted, why do you all have to be so nice to me? I told myself I would never do anything to upset you anymore- But now I actually made a big mistake and hurt you so much. HorMa, I’m really scared. I don’t know what I can do to ask for your forgiveness. I’m writing this letter to everyone in hope to be honest and to admit all the mistakes I’ve done. I really hate Ga Mei; when I see her smiling I’d get really angry. I want to reveal her evil side in front of everyone. I made a lot of phone calls to the Orphanage because I want them to prove that GaMei really has a son, but at the end they still wouldn’t tell me. At the end, I ended up faking the boy’s father’s identity and wrote them a letter in hope they would send me information. I know doing his is really bad and illegal. Since I was small, you taught us to be honest. I feel very bad and guilty, I don’t know how to face you anymore. There’s actually one more thing I lied to you about. SaYi said I liked Ah Ka, I loudly yelled back at her that she was crazy…but I actually did fall in love with him. I don’t know when it started. I just know that facing problems with him, I’m really happy. I want him to succeed. That time when I found I could go Hawaii with him to work, I was so happy that i couldn’t fall asleep. But all because of GaMei’s appearance, everything is destroyed. HorMa, I’ve already been honest with you in everything. As for that fake letter, i really didn’t write it. I don’t know why there’s a letter like that. HorMa, can you forgive me once more? Really, just once more is enough.

On the other hand, Raymond realised Linda was all happy again and thought she was finally able to put Bosco behind her. However it turns out that she has gone back with Bosco instead and being the third party..what the heck ? ? ? -_- Why do you even bother Raymond?? Linda is not worth it >< Later JoBao and Ah Hong see Linda and Bosco together and realises she has a boyfriend.

When HorMa returns home, she realises the situation and believes SaYi was telling the truth and that she has change, accepting her back =D  SaYi was so touched that HorMa believed her and after this, I think the family truly forgives her =) Her husband also returned to her! I really like Sa Yi! XD I wonder how long it will last though?

Ah Hong gets JoBao to have a wedding for her, putting on the sympathy act.  It’s so annoying watching Linda so excited and supportive about it. She should know how much it’ll hurtHorMa’s side. At first, JoBao agreed but Ah Hong kept asking for more. She wanted JoBao to personally invite HorMa and her kids to the wedding as well >< When JoBao refused, Ah Hong deliberately leaked to the media about how she’s 48 and still getting married because of insecurities about her relationship with her husband and about the conflicts within the ‘two’ family. She pressures JoBao in thinking that the perfect way to settle the media is if HorMa also came, to show there’s ‘nothing’ between them.

At first Raymond and the others got mad at JoBao, but HorMa sticks up for him and willingly accepts the invitation. Can someone really be that ‘Wei Dai’?? That woman just slapped her at the restaurant the other day! She mucked up her family and children. Does HorMa think that by attending the wedding she’ll help Ah Hong feel a little more secure about her marriage?

On the night, JoBao and Ah Hong were singing together. Later Ah Hong invites all the children to come on stage to sing with them (thinking she can grab all the fame and a glorious win over HorMa?) The children started snging “Needing you every minute” As they sung, JoBao and HorMa were looking at each other and started getting teary as they think back to the times together when they were young.  At the end, Tavia and Moses says the song is dedicated to their mother and father, and raises a glass and give a toast to them- HorM and JoBao!!! hahha! Take that Ah Hong!! XD YAY!! Go HorMa and her children!! =D

Ah Hong must have been so angry!! XD

On the other hand, Linda tries avoiding Bosco but he keeps calling her and Linda keeps crying at the hospital. Honestly I’d be a little concerned if my doctor was so emotionally unstable. She’s such a weak character, turning to Raymond to help her with all her troubles and he is always spending time with her when she needs it.

Once when Linda and Raymond were having lunch, Linda notices Bosco with his girlfriend and she leaves, and Bosco chases after her and the two hug outside on the streets. When Raymond notices Bosco’s girlfriend coming out to look for Bosco, he quickly runs and takes Linda away from him.

Linda:  Goon Ga Jai, my heart is very chaotic. I want to cry but I can’t, I feel so much pain.
Raymond: Yu So Chau, don’t be like that.
Linda: Sorry GoonGaJai, sorry. I thought I can, but I can’t. I can’t tell what is right and what is wrong.. I’m sorry..I’m wasting your time.
Raymond:
No matter if you can distinguish between what’s right or not, as long as you’re unhappy, I can lend you all the time I have.

Dearest Sister,

It’s actually true. Someone above is really looking at us and how we are. I always laughed that Ah Yuet was ‘Lor Lui’ (adopted), and it turns out that I’m the one who is truly adopted. I always laughed that Ah Heng is a mute girl, but now I want to say sorry to you all, I don’t even have a chance. How is this difference from being mute? I always laugh that Chung-Jai is half illiterate, but now I’m trying to write an apology letter I can’t even write properly. I’m the one illiterate.

Sister, I am now living in a hostel, facing the old entertainment(?) centre, do you still remember? Back then I was taken by the stupid Richard and sold there, it’s that one. Now it’s not there anymore, it changed into a church. Every night I can’t sleep, I would only stare at the cross. I learned to pray. Sister, old things are gone and have changed into the new. I am now a new Ah Sa. Back then you didn’t care about anything and rushed in and saved me. Save me once more today. I loved money my whole life. Now when I see money I really hate them. Sis, I’m living like I’m dying. I’m married but I don’t even know if I have a husband or not. I originally have a daughter but she won’t acknowledge me as her mum. I originally had a sister and dad, but it turns out that I don’t. We’re nothing all because of money. If you will forgive me, I’ll swallow all the money into my stomach- I’m serious.

Because of this apology/regret/declaration of change letter, the family believes that SaYi was genuine in her words and accepts her back into the family. I think Sa Yi has changed and hopefully she’ll be on her best behavior from now on! Even though she is taken back, they ignore her most of the time ^^;

When SaYi overhears HorMa’s conversation with Kelvin’s mum and finds out HorMa was slapped in the bathroom restaurants by Ah Hong the other day, she looked like she felt sad for her but quietly did not say anything to her. When HorMa goes overseas on a trip with Kelvin’s mum, Ah Hong invites SaYi out in hope to bribe her to work for her as a spy; reporting back everything that JoBao does or says at HorMa’s place.  SaYi ends up fooling them back pretending she is interested and started showing them some photos  on her phone (which were completely irrelevant) and started charging them money. She finally yelled back at them, saying how she swore she would never betray her family ever again =D SaYi really has changed and I feel so proud of her =) She tried to teach Ah Hong a lesson and stick up for HorMa, constantly yelling after her as they were leaving.

Sa Yi continued to chase Michelle out at the shopping mall and slap her across the face! =D In the struggle, Michelle falls down the escalators!!

The scared Sa Yi ran home it hope to find help but when the police arrive to arrest SaYi, (Ah Gong accused SaYi) for blackmailing them for money etc and pushing Ah Hong down the escalators, the family openly points her out. That’s what happens when she has been lying all her life and it sounds like something she would do.  SaYi tried to explain that she was just fooling around with them about the photos etc because she wanted to stick up for HorMa being slapped, but no one believed her. Adding to that, HorMa is not around to prove it.

In the hospital however, Ah Hong denies that SaYi was the one who pushed her down the escalators… 0_0 that’s very strange of her! I hope she’s not using this to get SaYi on her side!

On the other hand, Kate continues to act innocent to gain Moses’ sympathy. She lied about the tattoo on her leg and even dragged Moses to go to the beach with her during work time; leaving Tavia really frustrated and annoyed as she waited for Moses to return to get their work done.
