I really like the contrasting personalities of these 4 🙂  My most anticipated part of the series was watching these four become great friends especially since the four of them didn’t start out that well ^^

There are qualities in each of the 4 which I like but my favourite would still have to go to “Mo Ching” (Raymond). Maybe its because I’m bias and a big Raymond fan- I was drawn to his character from the start and thought his very witty, calm, arrogant personality was very awesome XD I wanted to see how he would soften though (but not by Kate lol..anyways) I also like the way he fights on his wheelchair, having all those weapons on it.  I felt sorry for him when he was weak, like when he was having his asthma (?) attack and the times he loses his wheelchair. I pitied him more when we see his downfall in the series- being used and hurt by Kate again and again. He kept falling for her trap and it was then I really wanted to see the confident, clever, arrogant him again.

I actually started liking Sammul’s “Zeoi Ming” while watching The Four second time around (I’ve finished the series, but re-screening it as its currently being broadcasted on TVBJ). First time around I liked him the least. I found him slightly annoying and a big attention seeker, but now I really enjoy watching his funny expressions and the light-hearted-ness/humour he brings to the show. It’s amusing to watch his interactions with the ladies, and kinda cute to see Kenneth protective over his sister. I think the name really suits him- not only is his agility his specialty, he’s also chasing girls all the time lol

Kenneth’s “Tit Sau” has the characteristics of a true hero in most ancient series. He is righteous, loyal/filial and kindhearted. His character is likable by most because he is easier to relate to since he is more normal. I didn’t find his character stand out as much compared to the others  because he could be a little ‘boring’. Nevertheless, we all like a nice guy, don’t we? ;P His love story with Selena makes his character more interesting to watch and his fist attacks are awesome too.

Ron’s “Lang Hoot” possesses the personality I would usually find cool =D I love watching assassin characters- the cool looking, emotionless/cold blooded and silent ones whom are really powerful. His costume from the start especially reminded me of Cloud from Final Fantasy VII whom I love XD TVB doesn’t have these types of characters that much which I guess is why his character is so popular (he’s even nominated for Favourite Character this year) I still don’t feel much for his character though- he doesn’t do much except stand there and try look cool lol

I like to be surprised by TVB once in a while 🙂

I am pleasantly pleased with how Last one Standing turned out. Unlike most people, I found the story only ‘ok-ish’ from the beginning. I guess I still wasn’t too thrilled about  pretty much only watching Kevin and Roger at each other and I felt the story was kind of ‘heavy’ but it was definitely an eye-opener. The ideas were quite fresh however and different from the usual TVB series so I kept watching on. The story turned out quite intense and exciting to watch, especially in the middle-latter half of the story and I really felt myself wanting to know what would happen next!  The thrillers in here were somewhat what I had anticipated for Love Exchange before I watched it (but that didn’t happen) so I’m glad TVB has produced this to feed my thriller-appetite. The story is quite intriguing and well written. I have to say the script is quite decent too!

As for the cast, I haven’t doubted Roger’s acting abilities before but him as the villain was totally woah!! He is SO convincing and scary!! His portrayal is so realistic and I can see how his character is able to deceive everyone! (excluding the wise Granny though ^^) The way those eyes and grin changes in front of some people to others sends me chills lol..I never want to meet someone like him in real life XD That would be so scary…

On the other hand, Kevin who I hadn’t expected too much from acted really well and his expressions were really realistic! I felt his pains, anger, frustrations and desperations when dealing with Roger, his loss in hope again and again after the evidence kept getting destroyed, the way his own mother has given up on him and doesn’t believe her own son…and then we have those cute little scenes where he turns into a gentle guy around the women, i.e Yoyo (Carmen) , Macy(Kelly) and Elaine [I wonder if it was really ‘him’ or part of his act] I really emphasized with his character and was rooting for him all the way!

I was quite impressed by the performance delivered by these two leads 🙂 They did a great job! I think Roger and Kevin both did a great job in their roles. My whole image of Roger changed though >< haha.  As for Yoyo I didn’t find her character/performance any different from her other series though.

The Story *contains spoilers*

The story starts off where Kevin is working out alone at night when he receives a phone call from his sister, saying that their stepfather has been harassing her again. The raging Kevin went to find their stepfather and started beating him up. Later however, he gets wrongly accused and convicted for murdering his stepfather when his cousin/best friend Roger stands up as a witness in court. 10 years later, Kevin is freed from jail and he is back to find Roger for revenge! However, Roger gets evidence which points to Kevin’s brother in-law (played by Ellesmere)  being actually the one who killed the stepfather. Torn by how much his sister ‘needs’ him, Kevin painfully decides to forgive his brother in-law and keep it to himself rather than clearing his own name for his sister’s happiness awww

Clues starts emerging and Kevin starts to realises the so called ‘evidence’ was misleading, only manipulating him into believing so. Thus Kevin secretly attempts to gather evidence to find out the truth and slowly realises Roger being the one behind it all- killing his stepfather because he had evidence of Roger’s illegal activities. One fateful day, Kevin meets the girl he likes again- Yoyo who was a volunteer who visited him during his time in jail and he started to feel hope in his life again. However, it turns out Yoyo is actually Roger’s current girlfriend! Kevin becomes really desperate with time to find solid evidence against Roger in attempt to let Yoyo see his true nature and to stop her from marrying him! Sequence of investigations lead on to others, but each time the evidence would end up getting destroyed- like the tape recording getting burnt in a fire! No more evidence existed.

Just when he thought there was no more hope left, Kevin gets inspired when he sees a guy perform a magic trick in front of a girl, saying that as long as he can deceive people, then he could make it reality, just what Roger is doing. From that episode onwards, Kevin’s character is acting in front of everyone in hope to get close to Roger and gain his trust. Knowing that Roger is a greedy person who would more attempts to make big money, Kevin hopes to catch him then. Kevin starts working at Roger’s insurance company and Roger’s assistant and accountant, Macy(Kelly)  falls for him. Kevin ends up using her feelings to get access to all important documents etc.

Because of Roger’s act in front of everyone, his whole family who adopted him believes he is a very honest, filial, genuine nice person and has complete trust in him. He manages to persuade his mum to have a linked bank account with him, his dad to sell off their home, and got him to be the trustee of all the assets on his will. Only Grandma was cautious and knew he was not as simple as he seemed, and hasn’t ever liked him from the day they adopted him from the orphanage. However, no one would believe or listen to her.

Later, Roger’s dad dies (potentially caused by Roger) and Grandma becomes more protective over her family. Seeing that Grandma always bad-mouthed him and was in his way, Roger deliberately did things to scare grandma (like the fish in the toilet, cutting up her plant etc), but then cover it up again, making Grandma seem like she was going mental so that no one in the family would trust what she says 🙁 Those scenes so creepy! I was rooting for the poor Grandma!! but I knew she was too fragile to fight against Roger herself. I admired all that she went through and tried her best to protect her family but there really is only so much she could do alone. She even went through all the trouble to install web cams in the whole house, but unfortunately Roger discovered those too and he threw them all away…except one!! 😀 ~ a very crucial one which was placed in Roger’s room. She managed to record him speaking on the phone with the lawyer,  shifting all the will’s funds into his own account. Thinking she had enough evidence, Grandma quickly called Kevin who she trusted and wanted to give the disk to him! However, being chased and scared by Roger, Grandma desperately wanted to get to Kevin and ends up getting run over by a car!!

Still, Grandma handed the disk to him and she thought she could rest in peace but it turns out it wasn’t enough to hold charges against Roger. Thus, the only way to maintain Roger’s trust was for Kevin to pass the disk onto him. When grandma found out, she was so hurt and betrayed by Kevin, she ended up dying in vain..

Slowly everyone – his mother, sister (Elaine), Yoyo (Carmen)  and his friend played by Evergreen starts seeing Roger’s true nature! However, it appears to be too late… Soon Kevin’s cover also gets blown, not because of investigating  him, but betrayal as he blames Kevin for coming in-between him and Yoyo and sacks him from his job. The only hope Kevin had left was Yoyo as he secretly passed on the evidence to her. Roger ends up going crazy and even captures Yoyo so he could “keep” her…torturing the one he claims to love the most.

The Ending

I’m glad the deaths ended there. I actually thought Roger’s mum would get killed in the process too, especially how fragile and sick she was. It would have been so sad if she actually killed herself from all the misery…

I’m kind of glad that Yoyo didn’t end up with Kevin…yet. After all that Roger put them all through, it would be really hard for her to forget about him. Hopefully later they will:)

The ending to the whole series- that final shot was so creepy & scary XD (I screamed!! LOL) but suited the whole theme/series/ title of the series “Last One standing” or its Chinese title which roughly translates as ‘Along with the enemy’. The act and deceiving between the two characters in attempt to gain each other’s trust is ongoing- there will be no end- not until one of them is dead.  That last shot of Roger in jail is like him saying ‘the game has just started’ *chills!*

From watching the whole series, it would be terribly unrealistic if Roger really turned good at the end after being imprisoned. It’s very unlike his nature and he was born with that selfish desire and greed since young. Even being crippled, Roger will bound to come back out for his revenge.

Random notes:

    • I watched the first 2 episodes at night and it got a bit creepy XD
    • Doesn’t TVB sorta send the message to the audience not to adopt anyone from the orphanage? XD
    • I don’t quite understand why even earning so much money Roger wasn’t willing to invest some money to cure his mum’s disease. I thought he really cared about her…but then again- the moment he dropped her onto the ground- no way.
    • I thought Macy (Kelly) turning evil in the end seemed a bit forced
    • I also like to mention I really like Elaine (Roger’s sister) & Ellesmere’s character (Kevin’s brother in-law) .

  • Elaine’s acting has really improved from the past. I don’t find her character/acting  annoying at all and she appears more natural.  I grew to like the way her character stands up against Roger and the determination she has to save her mum and make her happy.
  • As for Ellesmere, I started liking him from the time he started working with Kevin. It’s comforting to see Kevin have a companion who he could really talk to about what he is facing because he is the only one who knows what Kevin is doing. The two continue to pretend they don’t get along to help find evidence against Roger, but they do share some funny scenes hehe XD
  • This series reminds me of elements from The Price of Greed ! It gives me a similar feeling: All the plotting, and much like the two-faced Sammul, Roger’s character really scares me! It’s that thrill that’s worth watching- Fear for Kevin getting caught and us hoping desperately that Roger will disappear from the world lol Also, like Phoenix Rising, it’s really creepy how Roger kills off the people one by one, much like Louisa’s character in PR.

Recommend? If you like a series with some mystery & thrillers, then Last one Standing is a TVB series that should not be missed!

It’s not probably not a series I would want to watch again though. I guess it’s the genre which only makes me wanna watch it once, and enjoy it for that one experience 🙂

Final Thoughts/Overview of the series

Is this a must watch? Not really haha..I did enjoy watching the four leads though and I was curious to find out about Dick and Bonnie’s death. However, I had to wait A LONG TIME for the main storyline to happen!! Watching the Sales Presentation Clip, I think this series had a lot of potential. Unfortunately I was disappointed with this series because it didn’t meet the expectations built. It was definitely not a Romance/Thriller series as it promised to be. They pretty much changed the story completely and had too many filler episodes in between. The first episode was pretty exciting but after that, the main storyline starts to lose its attention as it starts to focus on Anita starting her life again, her working life, her family and Michael’s sister in-law etc Those were nothing new and I felt it was a waste of time. They were showing some character development and all but it wasn’t enough to keep me watching. I had to build up that ‘driving force’ myself lol. I also wanted to see more of Anita and Michael but they didn’t share that many interesting scenes together. I grew to like watching Power and Krystal as a couple together instead. (I don’t think they look compatible at all though =X Same goes with Tracy as well…)

The latter half of the series was when it started to get back on track about the case etc. The complicated relationships with the main couples were interesting and I like watching truths being uncovered.. However, it felt like bits and pieces were just getting thrown in your face, like suddenly this evidence appeared, or that man appear, and the evidence just comes out one after another. It feels very random and could have happened a long time ago instead of having us to wait through it all XD

Watching this series makes me wonder though..are affairs really that common? Is a relationship really that insecure?

All in all, it’s not a must watch series but still a good series to pass time with. I’ve actually told a few friends of mine the story of Love Exchange- complicated relationship etc , what happens in the latter half (i.e omitting off all the fillers, and family background stuff) and my friends love the ideas haha. I guess that’s why I’ve decided to put up the Love Exchange Episode Summaries skipping those boring parts off, so you can all feel the essence of the story.

It’s better than a lot of other TVB Series out there, trust me haha!

*Note: A lot of the earlier episodes are focuses on Anita (Zita)’s family – brother in-law, mother in-law etc, Michael’s sister in-law, Ai Wai (the cop friend) which aren’t particularly appealing to me.. so I left them off the summaries XD My apologies for those who are interested to find out more about their family matters. INSTEAD, my posts will focus more on Anita(Zita), Michael (Lap Tin), Power (Anson) and Krystal (Jackie)’s characters ..and of course! And clues which are related to Eddie(Dick) and Angela (Bonnie)’s death

**A post long-overdue ^^;

Warning: Ending Spoiler!! [All my posts contain spoilers, but this is the ending, so an extra warning message ^__^]

Michael and Anita manged to escape the fire 🙂 At the hospital, Michael hugs Anita when he was relieved to see her safe and ok ^^ Anita tells Michael that she realised how important he was to her, and Michael admitted feeling the same way towards her ^^

It turns out someone did something to their car, wanting to kill them both off. When they learn that Krystal has been hospitalized, they rush to see her and Anita feels really bad for neglecting her like that the night before which caused her to becomes depressed as the doctors have informed she attempted to kill herself by cutting her wrist.

When they went to ask Power, Tracy defended him saying she was with him the whole night. It turns out Power really did go find Krystal and she followed him. When he came out of her house, she saw blood on him but Power lied to her, saying Krystal wanted to kill herself and he only went to see her, to stop her..

However, Tracy couldn’t pass her own conscience and went to the hospital to see her where Michael finds her. After convincing Tracy of Power’s evil doings and him being one who actually caused her father to go into a coma, Tracy reveals to the Police what had actually happened, having gathered evidence of Power’s wrongdoings.

When Anita went to visit Krystal, Krystal woke up and told her that it was actually Power who did this to her! Power appeared and tied Anita on a chair. When Michael and the police arrive, he uses the two as hostage; threatening to pull the plugs and kill Krystal if they came in.

He reveals all the truths about him killing Dick (and Bonnie just happened to be there)  and their involvement with making fast illegal money. He also tried to get rid of the evidence (in episode 1-2), and wanted the USB, thinking there was evidence in there about his accounts and he was the one who actually paid money for the guy to jump off the building in hope to destroy all evidence.

They also showed us what had happened when Power went to Krystal’s house. First he got her drunk, and then next carried her and put her in the bathtub of water, cutting her wrist!! Despite ‘loving her’ so much, he ‘had’ to. In order to convince Power that she truly loved him and didn’t mean to betray him, Krystal pulled the plugs off herself to kill herself!

It was only then that Power had realised what he had done wrong, owing so much to Krystal. He uses the knife and cuts his own throat to die with her! The police rush in to save them.

Power dies. Krystal was saved.

In the hospital when Anita went to talk to Krystal, Krystal decides to reveal the truth to her about her relationship with Dick. They started off as rivals in the Insurance company and always had grudges against each other. However on one business trip, the two got drunk and started to see each other differently and from that- their affair started. However it turns out that Dick only wanted to get close to her because he wanted to earn quick money. Krystal was also involved in the illegal dealings with Power, and he didn’t know about Dick and Krystal’s affair. Krystal’s love for Dick turned into hate after realising Dick had only used her feelings and treated her poorly, saying he’ll never leave his wife. She also got rid of their baby because he got so angry when he found out and then dumps her.

Feeling completely abandoned, Krystal decided to take her revenge on him. When Dick was planning to withdraw from the illegal activities, Krystal suggested to Power the dangers of them all being caught, making Power kill Dick in the car. It turns out Krystal was also at that scene! After Power runs off, Dick actually had the strength to open the car door, but Krystal slammed the door shut! So the one who really killed Dick was Krystal..and Power hadn’t known all along. After this, Krystal decides to give in to the police for committing her crimes.

So..what happens to Anita and Michael? Do they end up together? Can they put behind their husband and wife’s deaths and move on with their lives with each other?

One month ago, K for TVB had a change in layout and it was well liked by its regular visitors 😀 But as we all know, a TVB related banner was delayed due to lack of inspiration and the default banner was left! Finally, the colours from the trailer “The Four” inspired this new banner!

I hope you all like it!! =D  This is one of my favourite layouts ^^ Love the colours!

Warning: Ending Spoiler!! [All my posts contain spoilers, but this is the ending, so an extra warning message ^__^]

Because Linda had lied to Raymond that she was at home when he called, Raymond started questioning her what had really happened to Grandma during that time and he eventually finds out she was actually with Bosco. She even dare tell him the reason Bosco had left England in the first place etc! It’s like..so what ?? Bosco was back interfering in their relationship and it was frustrating again to see Linda so indecisive, and every time she was unhappy with Raymond she’ll go find Bosco >< Linda doesn’t know how to deal with problems herself and is always relying on other guys. Other than Bosco, the family matters with Ah Hong wanting to take over the business is causing problems for the two too. They try to patch up but more misunderstandings arise when both of them wanted to give the other a surprise and went to find the other, while saying they were elsewhere. When Raymond wanted to clear up their misunderstandings, Linda claimed to be “tired” and  “didn’t want to talk about it”. She simply did not put any effort into their relationship! That is just so slack..and when Bosco called Linda to chat, she was wide awake and cheerfully chatting away..Doesn’t this just prove she’s not interested in Raymond anymore? This is just so unfair to him! How could Raymond not be angry at Bosco?? or Linda?? Later, she feels that they need time away from each other..and what does she do? She goes to Singapore …with Bosco >< I think that just makes matters worse!

On the other hand, with Kate, Louis and JoBao’s old workers on Ah Hong’s side, she successfully lies and twists the truth in court, making JoBao seem like he did absolutely nothing for the business! Adding to that, ‘he was cheating on her and constantly went to HorMa’s place’ . Things were looking really bad on JoBao and they didn’t have solid evidence. Even the piece of evidence showing that JoBao had borrowed money to start the business had gone missing. It was really frustrating yet exciting to watch.

Later, JoBao wanted to negotiate with Ah Hong out of court and just settle the dispute by agreeing with whatever she had to offer because he didn’t want to continue on with the case and for HorMa to be constantly abused and labeled as “Wu Lei Jing”. However, Ah Hong added the condition that he must sign a document declaring he really is’ having an affair with HorMa’ and deliberately got reporters to come and make it seem like he was admitting his mistakes. HorMa comes out and reveals more bad things that Ah Hong did, clearly laying out the fact that Ah Hong was the one who took her husband in the first place. She reads out the letter that Ah Hong had written for JoBao back then. Reinforcing the authenticity of the letter, JoBao was even able to recite the letter out!! Yay for HorMa! haha take that Ah Hong! =P

Eventually the court trials leads into Ah Hong’s lawyer constantly questioning and interrogating  HorMa and Jobao into admitting they were secretly seeing each other, asking things like ‘Have you ever thought about making up? If he told you he wanted to get back with you, would you?’ It was so frustrating because as if it was any of his business anyway! HorMa stood strongly saying that she will not answer questions that are “what ifs”. However, when JoBao was pushed to the limits, he used the opportunity and put together the courage to confess in front of everyone in court the mistake he has made right from the beginning- abandoning his family and wife. If HorMa was willing to give him a chance, he would definitely take it! Even if he doesn’t end up with anything at the end of the case, as long as he can have his wife and family back, he’ll definitely agree. Aww!! So sweeeeet XD (Even though coming out of an older man ahah) HorMa must have been so was touched!

At the end, 80% of the business was given to Ah Hong, and only 20% to JoBao but he was content. He had won back HorMa and his family and that was what was most important to him =D YAY! Finally “Ga Ho Yuet Yuen’ haha 🙂 The family were planning to live on happily ever after but Ah Hong got really pissed off (haha) that she decided to make an appeal to court and attempt to leave them with nothing.

When Susanna went to talk to Kate in hope to wake her up, Kate almost gets run over by a car but Susanna pushes her away, putting herself in danger instead.

At a press conference where Ah Hong told Kate to announce her divorce with Chris, and his criminal behaviour in Thailand, Kate instead spoke out all of Ah Hong’s evil doings and the fact she was the one who pushed Grandma down the stairs! It turns out that Grandma had returned to take back the signed document proving JoBao had borrowed money to start up the business and in order for Ah Hong to get it back, she pushed Grandma! I predicted this would happen but I just felt it was a little unrealistic? I guess it was the part where Susanna almost got run over saving her that really impacted her and somehow Kate had a hidden conscience? I just have to accept the fact that Kate really has changed because we don’t see much of her after this incident…

Having revealed this in front of everyone, they attempt to arrest Ah Hong and Raymond calls Linda to inform her about her mother and she flies back to Hong Kong. Ah Hong tried to lie to Linda but she didn’t believe her.

She tells her that she doesn’t want anything to do with the family anymore and wants to go overseas, get married with Bosco and start a new life with him. Linda breaks up with Raymond and leaves with Bosco…[Actually it wasn’t even break up,Linda ‘just’ informed her boyfriend that she will be marrying Bosco -_-]

Because of this, Ah Hong trusted her and gave all her shares of the business to Linda. It turns out that it was all an act by Linda and Bosco in gaining Ah Hong’s trust. In front of everyone, Linda transfers the ownership back to JoBao and HorMa, the real owners 🙂

Since everything was an act, Bosco returns Linda to Raymond and the two are finally (and for the last time) back together again XD

And so, Ah Hong gets arrested and eventually learns to ‘let go’. I’m surprised that’s it with her character. She didn’t seem to change or show any sign of self-realisation or any reflections in what she had done wrong. I felt she should have told them what Grandma had said to her before she left, but I guess it really isn’t that important anyway. It also shows that te family also learnt to let go.

Lin Ji Yung also comes back to visit 😀 His appearance was awesome, was quite happy to see him again since he was such a cool character. The family is now happily together and reunited.

Cute little scene with Wayne, Susanna and Louis ^^ I actually thought there was gonna be some love triangle between these three characters.

On Tavia’s birthday, Moses buys her a teddy bear. As he rests on her shoulder, they made it appear like he died ‘lights turned off..’

Years past and Moses also survived past 35 years old and he lives!

Tavia looks so pretty XD

haha..why does everyone looks so old fashioned??

Moses is married with Tavia with children, Linda is with Raymond and everyone is happy..Ah Hong is freed from jail and has turned good, traveling around herself and has finally accepted Linda with Raymond.

THE END

Final Comment/Overview
Having written episode summaries/thoughts for 40 episodes, I don’t want to write another whole review on MR ^^ So making some brief comments, there are flaws in this series (like every other TVB series) especially with the romantic-plot/ aspect of the story, but the 40 episodes have been entertaining and worth the time. I thoroughly enjoyed watching MR for its great warm-felt family plot and acting from the many many veterans 🙂 You also slowly learn to love many of the characters as they changed. I was touched in many of the episodes and the series kept me wanting to watch more.
The major let down would have to be Raymond/Linda/Bosco Love Triangle. It got so draggy and annoying to watch! I really hated Linda’s character here. She was just a weak character who kept crying so easily over the smallest issues. Raymond deserves someone SO MUCH better..(haha, you’ve probably all figured after reading the episode summaries on how annoyed I was with her, so I’ll stop here)

I would recommend the series to everyone! I think it exceeds its prequel Heart of Greed in many many areas 🙂 The story was engaging from the start! Give the series a go if you haven’t already!

If you are not staying, I will wait for my dream
After being heartbroken because of you, I have endured long pain
If you run to the end, hatred will be with you your whole life
If you learn to let go of everything, from now on there will be no regrets

* In the midst of hardship, betrayal is out of control
That very day how I gave out everything is also like a nightmare
While drifting, how heavy the burden
Slip out feelings then can understand, then will believe
Why after searching for the result can feel there’s no measure?
Why only in silence can we obtain a storm?
Who has been lightly swept by a rushing wind, also leaving a sign?
Who uses the heart to manipulate?
Violently changing storm, once more.

Peacefully walking in our own journey
Holding onto that unknown storm
Hard to avoid all the trauma and worry, gloomy fog

Repeat*

Who has been lightly swept by a rushing wind, also leaving a sign?
Who uses the heart to manipulate?
Violently changing storm, once more

Comments: I quite like this song , it’s kinda catchy and feels that it really suits the series. It’s also a bonus to have all 4 main leads sing the song =] As I was looking at the lyrics, I feel that the song is talking about Raymond and Kate’s relationship and about Raymond’s realisation when he sees the ‘real’ her. The song expresses his feelings of betrayal, chaos and confusion (like a nightmare) as he was blinded by his love for her. Despite “Mo Chin” (Heartless), he soon grew into a caring person and he let his feelings for Kate take over what he believes, or wants to believe. Thing don’t turn out the way he had expected as there’s questioning in the lyrics “Why after searching for the result can feel there’s no measure? Why only in silence can we obtain a storm?“Only after “Slip out feelings then can understand, then will believe“.

That’s what I think anyway ^^;
