Anita and Chilam Forevermark Ad
I was really excited when I found out that Anita and Chilam did photo shoots together !! =D They’re officially my favourite couple because they both look so compatible and sweet together! I like them both a lot ^^

I must say I wasn’t aware of them in their early days. However when I first saw them on screen, Chilam in ‘The Return of the Cockoo”, and Anita (only recently) in “Born Rich”, I fell in love. They’re both so attractive.

It’s  really rare we can see the couple collaborate- this is the first time the two are “working together” as husband and wife.

Watch the clips!!

Hi everyone! It has been a long while since I finished watching Born Rich (and I’m sure you guys have too), so I’m going to keep this final post nice and brief, yet at the same time, share some of my thoughts on some of the main happenings so I can give my BR postings a sense of closure 🙂 Enjoy!

Rene and Yatming get back together

Born Rich

I found this to be a surprising, shocking, exciting moment. I did not expect this to happen. After Rene finds out he was the one who had raped her that night,  Yatming’s “excuse” was that he could not control himself because he loved her too much. He was jealous and angry that he lost Rene to Topman and lied, saying he only just found out he was not the real Yatming- hence they were not biological brother and sister.  I think this has to be one of Rene’s most confused moments! Could she forgive someone who raped her because she liked him back too? Should she be with the one she loves now that she could?  It makes me wonder what she was really thinking. I mean, how could she disregard everything and treat Topman like that?  Topman was the one she deemed to love the most- would she have lied to herself the 2nd time around?  Not only was she determined to be with Yatming through all means, she was willing to stick by Yatming and go against her brother and family.  I had some doubts about Rene’s actions, but it was believable considering Rene can be pretty irresponsible/irrational sometimes. What will happen next?

March 2010

[Message from K] March 2010

Hi everyone! How are you all? 🙂 I thought I’d just drop by a quick little message here to let everyone know what’s been happening with me and all.
Deep apologies for those still waiting for my final post on Born Rich– I still have not gotten around writing it up yet and feels like months since I’ve last seen it. I have been really really busy with life to blog. Please forgive me!

I have still been following a couple of series though- it’s a lot quicker to watch TVB than to blog- trust me! Since my last “Message“, series I’ve seen and completed include:

  • The Season of Fate
Awesome cast- lovable characters & chemistry. Story could be better. Most satisfying ending I have seen in a long time XD
  • Cupid Stupid
Romantic love story:  Love the main characters. Side stories were boring. VERY disappointing ending. OMG!

Other than the review on “Beauty of the Game”, I haven’t made many additional posts on the other series as I simply did not have the time. As a result, I was leaving mini comments/my thoughts on those respective series page  as I progressed through the series- to share with those who were still following me ^^So for those who want to know what I think- visit those respective pages above and have a read of the comments 🙂

I’ve also started watching “Beyond the Realm of Conscience“- currently around episode 10 when Moses becomes the King haha..I know, I’m probably the only one who is THAT behind ^^ Don’t get me wrong- I love the series!! It’s really exciting and all but work commitments are holding it off at the moment. As chibi has been writing up wonderful episode summaries for BTRC, I’ll be leaving comments on the respective blog entries to share my thoughts on them as well.

I’ve also been re-watching “In the Chamber of Bliss” as they are airring on TVBJ during my dinner time- last episode tomorrow! I’ve fallen in love with the series all over again- It’s still equally as exciting watching it the 2nd time around. It’s disappointing to see the series was not that popular- in HK and netizens. For those who haven’t seen it- you’re missing out!

As for upcoming series, I currently don’t have plans to watch anything. Just really, really busy and need to get on top of things in life. I will continue to update my blog with anything new though, including song downloads and such and replying to comments 🙂 I will miss chibi’s updates too! As a guest blogger at K-TVB.net, chibi might be coming in and out with things to share too 🙂

Have a lovely March everyone!!

In the Eye of the Beholder

Synopsis

In search of the last model for his painting “Nine Pretty Women”, acclaimed scholar TONG PAK FU (Moses Chan) goes on a trip to Hangzhou with his ardent disciple WAT KEI (Johnson Lee).  While there, he meets a pretty young maid from WAH’s Residence, CHAU HEUNG (Myolie Wu).  FU is mesmerized by HEUNG’s beauty and martial agility and falls in love with her right away.  In order to approach the girl, he disguises as a servant and assumes the pseudonym WAH ON, seeking to win her affections with his talent and ingenuity.  But contrary to his wishes, HEUNG is unmoved and even harbours an intense dislike for him after a series of misunderstandings.  Master of the family WAH HUNG SHAN (Ha Yu) knew from the very beginning that FU is not a common man.  By the time his true identity is revealed, the scholar has already developed a close bond with the whole of the family, except HEUNG.
In the meantime, Prince LING (Tsang Wai Kuen), who has been attempting to rebel against Emperor CHING TAK (Chris Lai), has managed to involve FU in his conspiracy by stratagem, thus getting the man and the WAHs into big trouble.  LING’s daughter CHU TING YUK (Fala Chen) is in love with FU.  Desperate to save her dream man, she forces LING to release FU by threatening to kill herself.  YUK’s consuming passion for FU seems to have caused a ripple of unease in HEUNG, who is starting to feel a little twinge of jealousy inside.

Dazzling gold packaging
Today you can be compared to a bunch of flowers
Tomorrow would you be shining at this moment?

Tear apart the gold packaging
I should be able to see today
Who deliberately allures
Indulging a dangerous escape

Heard I’m seen as incapable of moving someone
Sunset also has to pass
Position, there’s only one
Heard the meteor has been swept
However it hasn’t sparked
Result, I can already see through
Still, I hope by chance you secretly think of me
