[DL] Forget Myself

I’ve compiled a small list of recent songs from the TVB actors turned singers for download. Yes! I’m still around anticipating when their next album releases will be XD Here are a couple which I think might just be included in their next release 🙂

(Right click link->save Target As to download)

Linda Chung

  • Duet with Stephanie Cheng 愛得起 (Radio Version)

I came across this song when I saw Linda and Stephanie sing it on JSG XD Thought it sounded pretty nice 🙂

Bosco Wong

  • 一代宗師 (Radio Version)

This song was recorded in 2008 during Bosco’s debut as an artist, however was not released/promoted until now.  The radio version is a bit annoying because it has the Dj talking through parts of the song, but we learn that Kate will be releasing an album this year, unlike Bosco who appeared to have stopped after his debut. The Dj has also mentioned that Bosco’s song was expected to be released in March 2010 which I assumed would mean a CD would be released! (It’s May already though so I’m not sure what happened to that) I guess we will just have to wait for his album release for the clear version 🙂

  • Over Mountain Across the Valley (越過高山越過谷)-CD Version

A lovely song which I first heard from Episode 3 in Don Juan DeMercado. I’m suspecting this will also be in Bosco’s next album!

Raymond Lam
:

  • æž—å³° – 我們很好 (We are well)

Raymond…where are youuuuuuu! XD I miss seeing him in TVB series- its been a year without him already. I think it’s time he returned to do more acting. Can’t wait to see him in Mysteries of Love. Here’s another song which I think will be in his album release this year.  Sounds very emotional, I really like it!  The mandarin version is also released 🙂 I wonder if Raymond will also be singing the themesong for Mysteries of Love?

Myolie Wu

Demo Version of new TVB series Sisters of Pearl. I’m absolutely in love with this song!! Can’t wait to watch the series now haha! It’s only 2mins though I was hoping it would make a full 3minute song- hopefully there’s gonna be a even longer release later. However this 2min song does stand alone as it is I guess.  The song gives me a similar feeling to that of ‘Fortunately” which she sang for TVB series “War and Destiny’.

A Fistful of Stances- Episode 10

This scene really reminds me of Moonlight Resonance: Epsiode 32, where the siblings were trying to cheer Raymond up and the siblings all snuggled up to Raymond and suggested doing things they always did when they were young XD

A Fistful of Stances- Episode 10

Here Stephen is upset about his breakup with YauYau when he found out her father was Dominic. It was cute to see Kevin’s reaction to them and that’s he’s starting to opening  himself up more and try to learn about his siblings  😉

Sisters of Pearl

Synopsis

After the death of her husband, CHU PIK-HA (Jessica Hsuan) returns to her maiden home with her son, in a deliberate attempt to take over the family jewelry business from her big sister CHU PIK-WAN (Kiki Sheung). To prevent HA from getting too out of hand, WAN needs her matrilocal husband HO CHEUNG-HING (Bowie Lam) to create trouble for her sibling. HING does not follow her instructions, but instead secretly helps HA tackle her problems one by one. WAN soon comes to realize that HING has never really got over HA. WAN’s little sister CHU PIK-LAM (Macy Chan) is still attending school and too young to deal with such family issues. WAN feels a profound sense of helplessness and becomes even more frustrated when SO LAI-SHEUNG (Joyce Tang) turns up suddenly claiming to be a mistress of her late father and pregnant with his baby. Out of respect for their father, the sisters agree to put SHEUNG up for the time being until the situation becomes clearer. Shortly thereafter, HA discovers that SHEUNG is just a tool of her cousin HUNG YIU-SANG (Michael Tao), who has been plotting to wage a battle of wills against the CHUs.

A Fistful of Stances- Episode 9

I love watching Kevin and Natalie together! I love the way they understand each other so well, and Kevin is very protective over her. He admits feels closer to her than his other siblings and I guess it helps during their numerous encounters with each other before Kevin reunited with the family. I think they have so much more chemistry together than the “siblings” in Moonlight Resonance (i.e Tavia and Moses’ sibling turned love relationship seemed kinda forced). It’s still early in the series though, so will need to watch on!

A Fistful of Stances- Episode 9

I have a bad feeling about the bald man…

***

The episode ends with another sad, teary moment! (My bin is filled with tissues at the moment lol) Kevin always thought the family was a mess and that Kenneth did not do his part well enough as the eldest brother (while he was not around). I can see why he felt that but his comments were so unfair to Kenneth!  Yuen Qiu defends for Kenneth, saying he really did care about the family. Yuen Qiu reveals that she is the one who is really scared of Wing Dak. She was the one who told her children to stay away from them etc and tells them the story in the past where Wing Dak brought along all the people to accuse her  (shown in the flashback in Episode 6). After all the tragic that happened to their family, little Kenneth trained very hard every day in hope to win the boxing championship title for his family and to take his revenge on Wing Dak. At the age of 19, Kenneth really did win the GuangZhou title- making him the youngest to ever claim that title. Unfortunately due to his intense training, Kenneth got asthma which permanently affected his fighting abilities and was forced to forfeit the final match.

A Fistful of Stances- Episode 9

This only brought the family even than before, so sad and touching!!

The truth is revealed!! Kevin finally learns his true identity and is reunited with his family. Kenneth’s words and actions finally “woke up” Chan Gill (the kidnapper) and she decides to reveal the truth before she dies.  (I enjoyed watching Kenneth constantly harassing her and yelling at her etc XD)  The letter she wrote was quite pitiful and I started to feel sorry for her. May she RIP…
A Fistful of Stances- Episode 8

“xx2Year, 3rd Month, 12th day- GuangDong city Wing Street- outside Au-Yeung Bill’ s Martial Arts School, I, Chan Gill and Husband Lo Ga On, kidnapped a pair of brothers. Half a month later, the children’s mother caught us/chased us to the train station. Ms Au-Yeung, you and I only saw each other once, I will never forget your facial expression/emotions for the rest of my life. My husband and I kidnapped a lot of kids, but we have never seen their parents. You’re the first appearance I’ve seen of a mother who has lost their children. I was really scared. When I close my eyes at night, I can see your pair of eyes.
My husband and I originally came from Wan Fal and we have a son. After we saved a bit of money, we decided to go GuangZhou to start a little business. Who would have known that in a flowery place like that, the first unfortunate thing was that our precious son died from sickness. Later my husband and I became gambling addicts to the extreme we had no other choice but to kidnap kids.
Out of all the children we kidnapped, Ah Dong (Kevin) was the hardest to get rid of because he was always sick, and always left with a fever. He would always cry, so much that his face would turn black.  As a result, no one wanted him.

I really like watching Kenneth and Selena together <3 I found this particular scene quite cute and I enjoy their interaction. It’s a pretty lighthearted scene and reveals more of Selena’s kind-hearted nature.

A Fistful of Stances- Episode 7

***

The most touching part of this episode how watching how hard Natalie tried to convince Kevin that he is their long lost brother and how much his real mother loved him: from trying to stop them from leaving on the boat, to telling her story about her own past and how Tavia adopted her.
A Fistful of Stances- Episode 7
I felt so sorry for little Natalie : < The poor child!! Her father abandoned her for another woman and the helpless child waited for her fathers’ return every day and night at the train station. (I’m surprised she hasn’t gotten kidnapped from hanging around the train station by herself) There she met a woman- who was also looking  for her family member…each day they waited, but at the end they were both left disappointed.
A Fistful of Stances- Episode 7
Tavia decided to adopt her and make her a part of their family despite already having 4 children to raise and look after. Despite much persuasion from her neighbours, Tavia wouldn’t give up on the little girl because didn’t want this little girl to grow up like her missing son- lonely and scared without her parents…such a touching scene!! So much love from Tavia~~~ awwww
