Kiki is mad that Bowie did not try to save them from jail

Bowie falls on Jessica after changing the light bulb

Sisters of Pearl

The 28 episodes of scheming Sisters of Pearl has finally come to an end. Although I’m not completely satisfied by the ending, it was an acceptable ending from TVB.

Here is my attempt at translating the themesong of Sisters of Pearl (Full Version) 🙂 At first I thought the song was pretty straight forward, but the more I read into the lyrics the more confused I got since the different combination of Chinese characters can be interpreted differently. I guess what confuses me about this particular themesong is that I only have 2 more episodes before the end of the series, and yet I can’t quite figure which character it’s supposed to relate to lol Here are my interpretation of the themesong, feel free to share your own/discuss!

When you are scared, use my hands- even if they get dirty, I’ll still enjoy it
Realise that even if you give out/sacrifice, it’s still not enough. Why still accept?
I suddenly hope that you say it out- you don’t feel you have tasted enough of the glory
Emotions let the story last long, to see/understand who will go

Only two episodes left to watch of Sisters of Pearl before its closure!! Kinda sad that it’s ending but I’m also really exciting to see it! Not long..

Here are the screencaps I’ve made from the preview for the Finale 🙂

*Warning: Contains Spoilers* (from this point onwards)
I think the series will have a happy ending *fingers crossed* The three sisters have already been brought back together and have turned “good” which is comforting. Bowie will definitely have to pay the price for all the evil things he has done. Bowie is such an evil character- after doing all that he is still not satisfied by his revenge. He was unsuccessful in accusing Kiki..but most importantly, his revenge on Jessica for deceiving his feelings ><” I’m really scared for her!! Hope he doesn’t rape her or anything!! (Starting to remind me of Gallen and Anita in Born Rich)

[CD] Bosco Wong: Bravo

Bosco Wong-Bravo

Bosco Wong’s second EP Bravo was released 3 June 2010 and is now available @ YesAsia.com! I am a little disappointed to see the small range of songs included though, and it appears as though they were recorded back when his first one was released which was 2 years ago. So if you want Bosco to continue to release albums, please support him by purchasing a copy!

Synopsis

PO CHUNG-LING (Steven Ma) was born in Jinan a family of New Year print. He is very bright, his father, PO POON (Ngo Wah), has therefore always hoped that he could one day carry on the family business. LING, mistakenly thinks that POON is working in collusion with some corrupt officials, refuses to listen to what his father says. His good friend, KO JIT (Sunny Chan), is a constable and he hates corrupt officials as much as LING does. Rumor has it that a fox spirit is creating troubles in Jinan. LING is almost killed when he is investigating into the matter with JIT. Fortunately, a mysterious girl named LING WU SIU-TSUI (Fala Chen) comes to his rescue in the nick of time. It turns out later that she is the fox spirit, and that she saves LING so as to return a past favor. As they spend more and more time together, TSUI starts to fall for LING.

The PO family has secured a large order of New Year print. To ensure the work can be finished in time they have to hire a large numbers of female workers. LAU SUM-YU (Linda Chung) applies for the job, but her real intention is to look for the man who was unfaithful to her sister, never knowing that she would later be caught in a love triangle with LING and JIT.

I’m currently up to Episode 13 and I find myself rooting for Jessica’s character 🙂 The other I enjoy watching is Joyce and Michael- I liked watching the two have chats at the grave- we often see a cute side of Joyce hehe. Her “petty” greed for money/goods is amusing. I also have a feeling Michael Tao would turn into a good guy *fingers crossed that nothing bad happens to these three!* Hopefully Joyce doesn’t turn evil… It’s also quite refreshing watching Joel’s character play such an innocent character
