Hi everyone,
Yesterday I attended the Miss Sydney Chinese 2010 event, and thought I’d share some TVB eye candy with you! Our very own ‘Po Chung Ling‘ TVB artist Steven Ma Jun Wei was a special guest for the night, so I knew I just had to go and meet him! I had a lot of fun and excitement meeting Moses Chan and Linda Chung last year, and I hope more TVB artists will come to Sydney! It was his first time being in Australia and some lucky fans even saw him on the Sydney streets snapping pictures.
Steven Ma only appeared on stage right near the end of the entire event, coming in and performing Ghost Writer’s (Pu Chung Ling’s) opening theme song, and other classics. He did a beautiful job and I think this was probably the highlight of the night for me 😀
Here is a video recording of Steven Ma performing 心竅 Ghost Writer’s themesong :

Although I wasn’t sitting too far from the stage, some pictures probably aren’t the best quality because I had to zoom in a lot. Nevertheless, hope you enjoy these pics!

YAY! Jessica’s brother case is finally solved 🙂 I was beginning to have suspicion that he could potentially have been lying to Jessica when Bobby went to investigate the case and only found more evidence to prove he was indeed the murderer. But then I had doubts again when he still would not “admit” it just before his death. Anyway, now that the case has resolved I have been anticipating Jessica and Bobby’s reunion XD Unfortunately there were obstacles in there way-Jessica’s friends who wouldn’t let Bobby see Jessica and Bobby’s family who refused to let Bobby take her back. I found that scene where the family was watching the stage performance pretty funny- ending it with a huge fight lol I like dhow Bobby kept on defending for Jessica “character” 🙂 Later when Jessica tries to help her friend by luring some guy into their “trap”, Bobby and his family mistaken her as cheating on Bobby and catches on her the spot ><!! Under those circumstances, Bobby divorces Jessica :<

All they needed was alone time together to talk. Jessica’s friend went to explain the situation to Bobby and then lied to him saying Jessica was really unhappy and have gone missing in the mountains. At the same time, the others went to tell Jessica about Bobby missing in the mountains. This forced the two to find each other and realise how much the two really cared for one another. I was so happy that their set-up plan actually worked for once XD

The two finally got back together! 🙂

Bobby asks Jessica to give him one more chance to let him be her husband 🙂
I’m currently watching A Pillowcase of Mystery 2~ It’s quite a lighthearted series and I’m finding it pretty entertaining so far. Even though I don’t remember much of the first one anymore, watching this gives me a similar sort of enjoyment I found in the first series. Like most TVB Sequels when they’re changing cast, TVB “killed off” Kenix and Annie’s characters. Sad to think they couldn’t live happily ever after, after all they have gone through in the first one!

Jessica and Bobby are fun to watch together. They have great chemistry and it was interesting watching Jessica trying to get close to Bobby and trying to make him marry her (in order to save her brother). She eventually succeeds, but on the night of the wedding, Jessica finds out that Bobby was actually the one who declared his brother as guilty. The episodes which followed were interesting too because Bobby loved Jessica and they treated each other well as husband and wife yet Jessica was secretly there to take her revenge lol She constantly caused trouble for him and misled him many times during his investigations. She eventually finds the perfect opportunity to rescue her brother and take her revenge on Bobby when a “stolen painting” case arises. If Bobby was unable to retrieve the painting, he and his entire family had to be executed.

Jessica trying to seduce Bobby after putting something in his soup.
At the end when Jessica finally got her hands on the painting, she planned to sell it for money to save her brother and then run away from Bobby. Jessica was summoned to see Bobby and she thought he had figured it out it was actually her. Instead, it turns out Bobby wanted to divorce Jessica because he didn’t want her to die with him and the rest of the family .aww.. XD She was touched! I know..it’s not the most unpredictable event but it was touching to watch nevertheless. Jessica ends up return the painting, giving up her opportunity to save her brother for Bobby’s family. I think she secretly felt she was ‘really’ a part of their family and quite possibly has fallen in love with Bobby for real.
I found this drafted up from last year, but never not to finish it So I decided to wrap it up and here it is: it’s a short continuation from Part 2 of Maggie, Bowie and Kenny’s relationship in The Gem of Life from around episode 48. [ See part I, II, Ending]

This was the stage after Bowie and Maggie initially broke up (for some unknown reason as I have mentioned in my previous post). However, it was pretty obvious that the two still loved each other. Seeing this, Kenny decided to help the two get back together even though he loved Bowie himself.
Kenny’s efforts did not go wasted and managed to get Maggie to see Bowie again where the two spent the night together. Unfortunately after that night, negative news about their company started spreading everywhere and the company was facing its biggest financial crisis. After many, many attempts to pull his company out of the mess, Bowie fails. Without having another source of finance, Bowie will lose everything.
