[Dicey Business] Episode 11-12

Feel so bad for Tavia and her top falling off while she was performing..Still a bit weird how the contest is run by the Casino people..Looks like Bosco has a crush on Tavia already~ he ran to find her after the incident, but when she bumped into him, she was too upset to talk to him.
The part where Michael takes Jessica flying and where Jessica tells him to touch wood, they talk about Jessica’s past..I’m not quite sure what happened. Was Jessica’s parents death caused by her? Or was she blaming herself for not “touching wood?” Did Michael pretend he had an accident while flying to prove his point or was the accident for real?
That man in jail (bold guy watching TV) is so freaky..his facial expressions and tone in voice..
I feel so sorry for Jessica!! Michael is so mean >< He slept with her then dumped her. Even though it seemed like he wanted to step out of the relationship because Benz told him that feels that Bobby likes Jessica.. Even after all that, I believe Michael really does love Jessica, but from her position he is so slack to her... =( a total player..Even after the auction when Jessica said all those words to him, he didn't do anything or say anything to her.. The truth comes out for the real reason and for whom has caused Bobby to lose his brother..I should have known..when I first saw that part (i.e the girl luring Youth-Cheung), I thought it was Youth-Chor who told her to do it to distract him; but when youth- Chor appeared and bashed him for kissing his girlfriend, Youth-Chor looked really angry; so I thought he didn't plan it.. I didn't quite understand..did Michael's character take little Bosco away at that time as well? If so, where did he take him to ? ? I think there may be more to the situation; that character played by Florence doesn't seem to be a very nice person...

[Dicey Business] Episode 10

*A Tavia and Bosco episode! Bosco and Tavia meet and become friends =)

Tavia’s character actually went for the Miss Baccarat beauty pageant lol  Having her breast pads fall out of her swimsuit was so embarrassing for her~ but when she told her father to give her money for breast implant, I thought it sounded so hilarious xD I could see why her father and mother were laughing, thinking she was only joking. I do sorta feel sorry for Tavia but its true what her parents were saying XD I think Tavia’s character in here is a bit weird for my liking so far, but she isn’t a bad person =) She still treats Bosco nicely, and helps him overcome his fear in the Interview by teaching him to look at the nose instead of the eyes etc Tavia also takes Bosco along for the breast implant because she’s scared by herself ^^

End part was funny how Jessica ended up calling Bobby for help- stop her from gambling lol He asks where she is now, and she said she’s on her way to the Casino xD

Comments: This series willing be airing after Glittering Days ends. It is another warehouse series, but it doesn’t mean it’s gonna be a bad series (I hope not anyway) ^^ I really enjoyed watching Au Revoir Shanghai]at the beginning of the year which was another warehoused series. Despite all the negative comments I’ve heard from others, I personally really enjoyed watching Au Revoir Shanghai…so here’s another one! From watching the trailer for [The Price of Greed] , it gives me the same feeling as Au Revior Shanghai , the setting etc. The cast doesn’t particularly appeal to me~ not very fond of Sammul or Shirley~ but there’s Bosco =D

[Dicey Business] Episode 9

* Bobby had to cheat and wear those glasses to win Bosco though I’m still not quite sure how he did. Even if he was able to know the card, shouldn’t Bosco be able to memorise it correctly too?

* The part where Bobby takes Jessica to join the gambling addiction support group looked funny, especially the hugging part lol It sounded so random xD ehehe~ Both of them didn’t seem to want to, but everyone did and they were asked to.

*No matter how Jessica fdecided not to gamble ever again after the huge debt she was in, she sneaked to Macau and won it all back..that’s good she got lucky..but she’ll never learn her lesson this way +_+ Now she’s a gambling addict again xD

*After watching episode 14 in HongKong: I finally found the reference here =(…as a joke, Bobby tells Michael that he’ll give him the trophie if he can make Jessica quit gambling..[aahh!!! what spoiler me!!! T_T What an ecuse he uses *sighh*]

*aww~ how cute Michael is interested in Jessica..he even paid the guy to search her up XD His mother also sees her picture and asks if that was his girlfriend. Michael said she wan’t; his mother said “that’s good, left her for my son” XD eehehe…I really want the two to be together, though it looks like Jessica will end up with Bobby in the end~

Overall, I enjoyed watching this series. It had funny moments and touching moments. When I first saw Trailers and saw the promotional poster it didn’t appeal to me at all mainly because of the time era. I wasn’t really a fan of Charmaine or Liza Wang, but I gave this series a go anyway because it was during dinner time when it was airring. This series has a lot of singing and performances~ After watching so much of this time era, sorta got used to it, and even start thinking the tunes are quite catchy xD lol It also has a lot of sad moments though, and some annoying character which at times can really annoy you .. I have to say this is the first series I’ve actually liked Charmaine in it~ she was really likeable and cute in this series.

The episode was evenly paced- wasn’t too fast and rushed, wasn’t too slow and draggy so it was good~It had a happy ending, with all the bad guys getting what the deserve ^^ Joel doesn’t die, but falls off a cliff and when he wakes up, he redeems himself so that’s pretty good too =) Charmaine also finds out that her fan who has always been writing letters to her is Roger! (after some misunderstanding that it wasn’t actually him) . Carol (Sharon) and James (Lok Yi) end up together ^^ Dissatisfaction I can think of at the moment is that the truth does not come out for Roger for being the one who did not play with the lady, tricking the lady’s money which caused her to commit-suicide.

I also thought that Ling-Jie and Liza were gonna have more interaction with each other (but that’s not really essential I suppose).

The key to Roger finding out that Liza is his mother is from ‘Ah-Wong’ who gives him things they have found that belong to him when he was with his real parents. Inside the box, there was a locket with a photo of him as a boy and Liza together.
I liked how they played the song Roger sings for his mother twice. First after Roger finds out that Liza is his mother and sings for her when she is locked up in jail; the other being on stage for the tv program. Finally, after 30 episodes Roger and Liza can reunite lol
At the end, Charmaine’s dream comes true: being able to sing on stage with Roger ^^ This time, it was in Cantonese~
