Warning: Ending Spoiler!! [All my posts contain spoilers, but this is the ending, so an extra warning message ^__^]

Episode 19 had lots of suspense, especially with Kate trying to escape out of bed and pretend to be unconscious so the others won’t notice. She was in a really dangerous position! The sister was freaky as well, opening the door twice in a row and Sammul pretending that something happened to their son. I was so scared Kate would fall for it >__<” but luckily she didn’t. All the thunderstorm-ing nights added to the atmosphere and it was also useful for the storyline plot (how Kate escapes).

The final episode was a bit bland. Bosco and co, managed to trick the bunch of bad guys into thinking they had real evidence against them, and they ended up trying to escape and they ended up getting killed. What annoyed me throughout the series with the evil bunch is their acting. The leader just laughs and tries to deny everything when evidence is held against him. They just don’t seem that convincing.

So..what is the price of greed (according to this story)? I believe its death. The bad guys could have gotten away with it (maybe?) if they had stopped after cheating all the money off the first girl. Or the second one; but being greedy they go after more rich girls which causes the truth to come out. But what doesn’t make much sense is the price paid by all those innocent people as well. Lots of innocent people died in the series including the doctor Ben (Kate’s school friend) who was obviously not greedy. Other than Sammul, the rest of the evil gang wanted to stop and escape when they thought the good guys had evidence against them. Do they die less painfully than Sammul who has decided to continue to be greedy? I don’t think so..

How did it end? I’m quite surprised Bosco ends up with Kate actually. I would have thought Bosco ends up with Shirley, but instead, Shirley just wants Bosco to be happy and she buries her feelings for him. She ends up going overseas, taking her opportunity to become a violinist and her mother goes with her.
Overall, I enjoyed the second half of the story better than the first half simply because it was not as draggy and I did not like much of Shirley’s story. The second half picked up faster, so I’d rate this series 7/10

Bosco, Michael and the other guy join and established an underground casino. Seems to have gone so successful, even attracting Florence’s father-in-law to gamble there, and ONISAC to lose out a lot of their business. It was good to see Bobby and Benz come to visit Ronald’s dad and they have their talks and apologies about the past. It does look like ONISAC would be going down. Michael used to be the CEO- in very good control (but robs the casino), Bobby was forced to quit (but now better off working for the going-to-establish ‘Galaxy Casino’), Benz and Bosco have also both resigned. With Ronald guy taking charge, I just don’t feel he would make it. I hope Ronald’s dad doesn’t die..
Bosco is such a meanie..Michael is such a jerk (both understatements lol)
The whole time I think Tavia really only cares about money and wealth. There’s been so many instances. Even in this episode, when Tavia gets angry that Bosco is not having dinner with her because of work, she’s all happy again when he gives her a card to spend and shop herself. Bosco gets really angry that Tavia bumps into Jessica and accidentally tells her that he is also at HongKong. It was quite freaky in the car and even turned on the loud-blasting music because he doesn’t want to listen to her. He later tries to cheer her up by taking her to “the place where he work” and continuing to hide everything else. I think I like Tavia’s realisation here because when she found out what Bosco was really doing and what a bad influence Michael was to Bosco, she didn’t want Bosco doing it anymore; pleading Michael to let Bosco go. Michael was so evil, he has continued to send money in her bank account and threatens to use it against her if she gets in the way, making Bosco hate her. He would tell Bosco that Tavia does not really love him; only after money. Poor Tavia~ He tells ehr to continue and be a “dumb women”. At least she knows what kind of guy Michael is, instead of constantly praising him. I have a feeling Bosco finds out that Tavia has been accepting money from Michael, so we get the wedding scene in the opening credits where Bosco walks away in their wedding day looking very angry at her.

Bosco has changed so much and quite extreme. Ek.

Its been 3 months; Jessica’s been with Bobby for that long. She knows clearly what kind of person Michael is; but still looks like she has feelings for him…WHY??? Don’t do anything silly Jess..

I thought Bobby did very well to get it that far into the game; I was hoping he would win but even if he didn’t, I would still be proud of him. The match was cool, and Bobby does win the competition!! So happy for him hahaha.. he did all that for his brother, even after winning; he did not go celebrate but went straight to the hospital to find Bosco, who was obviously not interested nor happy that his brother had won. What kind of brother is that?? Bosc should have been so proud to have a brother like that. Instead, Bosco goes off to find Michael..

Can’t believe Bosco would say such words to Bobby.. so, to Bosco, a brother would always forgive so its ok to betray them, but not a master. What kind of logic is that?? Bosco also tells Bobby that Michael said he would take Bosco with him to the US after he wins the competition and continue on his career; which is also Boscos’ dream. Why wouldn’t Bosco just go with his brother? Bosco even goes to say that I know you think I’m always on Michael’s side, but ‘its ok for you anyway, there’s no loss. You’ve became the world champion.’ Does he not realise how much his brother means to him??

I get the impression Bosco pretty much hates Bobby, but when Bosc is with Tavia, he tells her that he knows a lot of people love him ~  Michael, Benz, Bobby…etc. Weird to know that he knows his brother loves him. Don’t know if he appreciates him though.

Omg…in this one episode, Michael loses everything! The first time you see Michael going down! He seems like a total loser now..the truth about robbing the casino comes out to his boss who no longer trusts him anyway. He also loses the competition and cannot proceed to the finals.
Very disappointed at Bosco. He has been fully influenced by Michael that he wants Michael to win his own brother! Even in all the rounds so far, Bosco watches Michael’s matches and not Bobbys’. When Bosco finds out about Michael robbing his own Casino, he still believed in him, and trusted he wouldn’t so such a thing. He even offered to help him win the competition by not taking his medicine and falling sick in hospital during the competiton to muck up Bobby’s mind. Despite this, Bobby overcomes it by calming down with the help of Jessica(if it wasn’t for her, he would have quit the competition to see Bosco in hospital).
YAY for Bobby!!! ^^ He won Michael!! I’m so proud of him !! At first, I thought that Bobby didn’t look like he would have what it takes to compete so well, but he gradually improves and picks up very well. Michael takes no hestisation to do whatever it takes to win to win Bobby. After seeing Bobby has become stable and into the game again, seeing Bobby has the least number of chips, Michael backs out in every single game afterwards by not following in the game. That’s so cheap; its like refusing the play so Bobby won’t have any chance of winning any chips from him. Luckily, the Japanese lady gives Bobby one last chance in their final game and plays with him, gambling quite big and eventually loses a big stack to him. I really like that Japanese lady contestant; she looks and acts so cool! ^^ Bobby and the Japanese lady ended up having more chips that Michael, causing Michael to lose out of the competition!!! He deserves it for being a coward in the first place. Even though the Japanese lady deliberately lost to Bobby so it would eliminate Michael out of the game (being the stronger competitor, she does not want to face Michael in the finals), I’m happy she helped Bobby^^

In this episode, Bosco confesses his love to Tavia and they officially go out. Bosco has changed so much..
I think this is the first time we see Michael finding out Jessica and Bobby’s relationship; or at least seeing it for himself.
I feel that Tavia is really cheap even though she doesn’t admit it. Even her parents say that about her too. She goes out with Michael’s ally because he bought her an expensive handbag. Doesn’t Tavia notice anything is wrong with reporting to Michael every single thing about Bosco, where he goes; what he thinks etc? With money, she’s even happier to do so. On another note, I wonder what Michael was trying to do? Doesn’t he trust Bosco? Does he think Bosco is on Bobby’s side? Since the reporting didn’t last that long, i still wonder what Michael was scheming. I sorta doubt he was doing it to make Bosco happy with Tavia by his side for most of the time. When I saw the trailer for this episode, I thought Michael paid Tavia to go out with Bosco instead lol

Towards the end of the episode, the gambling Competiton begins!! With an unlucky start, out of the 4 competitors, Bobby was in the same match as World’s Rank 4th. Bobby was just too nervous, and I don’t blame him since this is his first official match in a very long time. What was so embarrassing was how Bobby took out red underwear out of his pocket and wipped his face XD Jessica had previously stuffed it in his pocket, and when Bobby asked hwat it was, she said its a hankerchief; something of good luck. I very disappointed to find out Bobby had lost in his first round =( Awwww…..

This series is indeed getting very interesting!! The more the people find out or suspect Sammul, the more incidences occur to counter it. Feel sorry for Kate’s father!! It must of been a crazy shock to find out Sammul is allied with all those people!! He overheard the conversation that Ben(the doctor) had with Kate, in which Kate did not believe in him. Kate’s father was very smart, but things may not be as bad for him if he didn’t continue to follow them and witness the fingers getting chopped off. Their whole house and business has already been invaded.
Like TVB “Love is Beautiful” where the king could not speak or write anymore because the bad guys made him like that, word by word, he blinked out the words he wanted to say; with the help of Ben, he was able to write a whole passage for Kate. Now she really knows the truth~ unfortunetly, her father does die =( but luckily just before his death, he was able to write his will, giving all this properties/assets to his daughter 80% and his wife 20%. Sammul and the evil leader looked so angry xD

Episode 16 continues with more exciting stuff. I thought Kate has been dealing with the situation very well (with the help of her doctor friend). When the bad guys had schemed to force her to sell off her father’s business; she pretended to have injured her arm so her signature was invalid (did not look like her usual signature and her hand was not injured at all). She also arranged her mother to meet elsewhere telling her they found her brother at some other place (I believe this information was false and just to get her away). They also safely left Kate’s son at the doctor’s place. When Sammul found Kate taking all the money and investment documents etc, Kate was running away like mad, and eventually he finds out that Kate is suspecting him. Once again he lies to her, and cleverly Kate plays along, saying she should have trusted him. Catching him unaware, she uses a vase and smashes his head and running off! She suceeded! ^^ That’s the way to go! She goes back to her company where she announces she’ll never sell off the company, and that she is having a divorce with Sammul, so he no longer has anything to do with her family business!! All seems to go well, except when the two (Kate and Ben) went inside the car, the evil Sammul loosened the car breaks, causing Kate and the doctor to have a car accident, and have been hospitalised and seriously injured and unconscious.

Sammul is quite devious; planting seeds already for Vivien in previous episodes, and twisting the truth to trick Vivien in thinking her husband had cheated on her and loved Kate all along; even taking off their wedding rings!! He also hinted the money in their car was like the two were planning to elope.
It’s perfect timing for Bosco to come back (with his mother)! He’s the only one they can count on now! Unfortunately, once they arrived at Shanghai, they bump into the fake Sister o_o Not a good start..

This episode was quite pleasant. It was a bit more relaxing and light hearted, not heavily intense and it feels like I’m given some breathing space. I guess also because Bobby’s character is slowly getting back up with some luck. Bobby and Jessica go on their first date ^^Very cute and funny to watch =3 I always wondered what it would be like if they were dating because both of them are quite comical.

I think Bobby made the right choice to let Bosco go, since he will go anyway no matter what he might try to do. A little sad that he doesn’t respond to his real name. Probably because he wasn’t used to it, but somehow I reckon it looks like he is ignoring on purpose because even if a name isn’t calling you, you can still hear its Bobby’s voice.

Jessica suggested to go karaoke with him, then go eat seafood to get his mind off things. Bobby suggested to go on a date instead.

[Tavia’s House]

First thing Bosco goes when he gets to Phillipines is to visit Tavia to comfort her about the breakup with Ronald. Instead, he sees a happy Tavia. Tavia gives Bosco food to congratulate him on becoming a Pit Boss.I don’t really know if she’s considered in-character or not. That was a quick recovery.

Bosco’s working in his new position. Bosco’s character changed so much from his first appearance in the early episodes. When he spoke to the customers, he looked very confident, and spoke confidently; the other one wouldn’t even dare to look at them.

[Jessica and Bobby’s First Date!]

At a high class restaurant Bobby wants to make it a special dinner because it is ther first date.. Jessica feels uncomfortable because they have to speak very softly. When using the cutlery, Jessica makes a screeching sound with her knife on the plate XD

Bobby was about to get up, but almost knocks the table down.

Bobby pays the bill, and leave to find a more comfortable place to eat.

Bobby tells Jessica to slow down, because its supposed to be a romantic walk; not like run-a-ways. Jessica states she has gotten used to walking fast with him. Even Bobby states that they are funny because it doesn’t look like they are dating. Jessica blames it for knowing each other so well; it was hard to change and becoming his girlfriend. They start observing how other couples act.

I think he must of been pretty shocked since he didn’t know her high ranked position, even previously throwing a cheque at her and telling her to get lost. She tells him that the cheque was so small he can have it back if he wants. Go Florence! =D

The last shot looks so cool.. xD I really hope that Bobby will win against Michael. If he does, he can get back what he lost and veen become the CEO of the lastest Casino in Asia!! He probably would have won him 20 years ago, but we don’t really know since he didn’t end up playing. We do know Bobby was unable to defeat Florence’s father-in-law who was rank 3 while Michael is only rank 11. Knowing Michael schemes so much and Florence’s father in-law not in well-condition and getting old, Michael would likely win. Wonder when did Bobby’s ‘bad luck’ start to fade off~ I hope Florence’s father-in-law can train him up!
Florence’s father-in-law reminds me of the other old women actress (not saying he acts like a girl). They seem to have similiar expressions (women who plays Charmaine’s master in LWOLAP). I hope to see Florence and her father-in-law’s relationship get better and that they can fulfil Florence’s husband’s wish and get the casino! ^^

I can already see how easy it is for Michael to turn Bosco against Bobby. Bosco looks up to him so much. Like the early episode when Bosco first met Michael; no matter how much Bobby and Jessica tried to do or say to Bosco, it had no effect compared to Michael who had only said a few words to him. Bosco does not appear to be very happy that he can reunite with his brother *sigh* why not ? ? He’s just attached
to Michael =[ which really annoys me. Bosco does not seem to be interested in his family at all, or his identity. I thought Bosco used to really like Bobby as well, even having a crush on him before he was
accused of robbing the Casino. After not seeing each for months (when Bobby went missing), seems like their relationship just drifted apart.
When Florence said they found a witness, I knew it was too good to be true; but if it wasn’t for her, Bobby was sure to be put in prison. For that, I’m grateful to her. Bobby really was innocent. If Michael used those dirty tricks to accuse Boby, it is only fair Bobby gets out of the mess otherwise. Too bad Bosco finds out (because he believed Michael’s one sentence!! >_<;) Michael makes it seem worse too b saying "everyone" has been saying its Bobby's "friend" which is so untrue! Michael can make anything up and Bosco would believe him. Like,even if the witness was real, once Michael says that to Bosco, he would believe him right away. If Bosco asked Bobby whether it was true or not and Bobby denies, I doubt Bosco would believe him anyway. Things will bound to be bad between the brothers, but I just hope in the long run everything will be fine and all misunderstandings are cleared. Bobby was able to be freed, but Michael was not charged. There wasn't any evidence against him. On the other hand, Jessica and Bobby are going out ^^ Sorta already knew it was coming since they were getting so close, especially after Jessica found Bobby at the hospital. I thought it was cute how Jessica had told him that there was more things waiting for him to do, like go shopping together, go karaoke together etc I do fear though that what if Michael told Jessica the real reason he broke up with her (i.e the Blackmail) Would Jessica go back to him? I have a feeling she still likes him..So many episodes left, so much can happen. Ronald also "dumps" Tavia in this episode (was gonna use "breaks up with Tavia" but I think it doesn't describe the situation well enough), though I didn't really feel sorry for her because he's not worth it anyway. Hope to see more of Tavia and Bosco together... ~~Screencaps~~

Bobby asks Jessica that if he loses the case, to promise to look after Bosco for him.. Jessica tells him that Bosco is his brother, he should wait til he’s free and go back and look after him himself. Jessica tells him there is still things waiting for him to do, and not to look as if he’s going to lose for sure. He still hasn’t reunited with his brother. ‘You don’t want him to visit you in prison. And
there’s more.’

Bobby: “There’s still more?”

Jessica tells him they haven’t gone shopping together, movies, dine out, sing karaoke, to the park, walked along the beach together, shared a cup of icecream, or tried singing a song for her at night, or
calling her every night to say goodnight..

Bobby:” How come I’ve suddenly got some many things to do?”

Jessica: “We haven’t even dated; you’re so dumb”

Jessica: “If you go to jail, who’s going to do all those things with me..?”


Bobby wins the case and they head back to Hong Kong.
