I loved this episode! Cute moments with Benny and Selena ^^The whole episode revolved around the ‘soccer’ competition which has taken place. Its like a mini Shaolin soccer match except with Feng Sui. More characters make their appearance, which seem to be the bad guys: Joel and the other old man who also seems to know Feng Sui/fate changing stuff. Mimi and Selena also join Benny’s team and I must say they are very good~

Benny started saying to Mimi that he can do that with Selena too, but he falls instead and hurt his hand. Selena helps Benny bandage his hand and Mimi tells Selena that Benny is acting weird, as if he likes her.
I really like this predicting/fate/Feng Sui stuff, especially when the good guys are all on one side having Yuen Wah help them along the way. As always, Joel plays the idiot ..the one whom the Princess was arranged to marry lol I’m very used to him now..haha..Its starting to remind me of those good vs evil themes, or different forces of changing future against each other.

[The First Match. Red vs White Team]

In hope to win, Joel lures Benny and Selena into the forest where they get trapped in a maze-like-thing so they wouldn’t be able to make it to the match. It rains and the two fall into a hole in the ground where Benny finds out that Selena is a girl(I think he suspected previously..)

After getting drenched, Benny sets up a fire and started taking his clothes off to dry them up. After remembering that Selena is a girl, he pretends something went in his eye so that he could bandage up his eye and won’t be able to see, making Selena feel more secure.

When the clothes dry up, Selena gets dressed; while going over to help Benny, she gets scared my a rat and Benny was trying to get it. He eventually pulls down the bandage around his eyes and sees Selena as a girl. 

The next morning, Benny’s family sent people in search for them. Shirley being the lazy one decided to sleep instead of search but was co-incidentally (or was it really?) led by a cute rabbit to them.

Before the two got back, they got Steven to be a substitute (he was excited by the incentive to be set free if they won the match), but got beaten and went to sit down and rest with Yuen Wah. Yuen Wah tells him that its Joel got someone to set up the place so Joel’s team would have the advantage. Firstly, they got rid of 2 of their top players; they wore black when Benny’s team wore red; they had pebbles placed on the side, the light reflecting off the goal..etc.. Yeun Wah taught Steven to get the red team to wear inscent burners on them which would counter it and Steven runs back and does so. This causes the Black them to get confused and Joel even hit the ball into the wrong net lol Benny and Selena get back in time to finish off the match.

Steven gets hit in the head with a ball and feels dizzy. 

Looks like Steven and Benny are becoming better friends ^^This time, the black team set another pattern thing which the red team couldn’t get through. With the help of Yuen Wah, Steven was able to successfully distract Joel and break through their ‘barrier’. When Selena was about to get the ball in, Joel pushs the whole net down and and hits Benny when protecting Selena and Mimi..

Benny gets hit unconscious and cannot live for more than 3 days. The only way to save his life is with this special herb (Joel’s family has) or for Benny to get married with a girl with someone that was born on a certain day/time. Selena and Mimi try to beg Joel for the herb but its obvious he wouldn’t ..the only other way the family tried was to find Benny a wife that matched the birthdate. All the girls (excpet Shirley) want to marry Benny so they all submitted in their birthdate. The birthdate exactly matches Shirleys’. Yuen Wah still thinking the other girl is his daughter, tries to get Steven to warn her not to marry him because it is really bad luck for her. Benny would be brought all the good luck, while she would suffer for the rest of her life. The girl doesn’t believe him, but knowing Shirley’s birthdate matches the one Benny is looking for; she attempts to change her one with Shirley’s. On the other hand, Steven sneaks in at night to change the girl’s ones around (switching it back to the original!)

At the end of the episode, Shirley is announced to be marrying Benny.

Another enjoyable episode^^ Quite funny stuff !

With the help of Steven, Yeun Wah, Selena and Benny, they manage to capture the person actually behind the death of the man.

After this incident, Benny invites Selena and Mimi as guests to stay at his place, and the two learn of the soccer tournament that would be held at their city next month which Benny is organsing this year. They learnt that the guy Mimi was has an arrange marriage to would also be competiting so she gets really excited to meet and see what he’s like.

I like it how Mimi always seems to surprise Benny XD Firstly while at Benny’s place, Mimi loudly critisises the tea they have given him (which had used water from the well rather from some other place), and then the ‘uncomforty’ chair they were sitting on. Later, Benny tells them that he’s the top soccer player in the city and attempts to show off his skills, but Mimi again critisizes, saying she can do heaps better. The two compete with each other by having free shoots, and Benny misses the last one XD I’m actually quite surprised myself. This princess knows her stuff! XD

Since Benny loses to Mimi, he treats her food and there he challenges her again. She has to copy him and if she can’t, she loses..

The cross eye~

Benny pretends to drink the wine and Mimi copies, but then Benny spits it back out XD What a sneaky one LOL but then for some odd reason Mimi does too ^^;

Weirdness! lol Mimi can’t do this one.

Since Mimi lost, he got her to write lines and she gets Selena to help her, but Benny finds out and takes Selena away so she wouldn’t help her.

Back at Benny’s room, Selena helps Benyn massage his arm which had injured when he was younger, which explains how he could twist his arm back then (disjointed?) Benny gets impressed by the things Selena said and knew about Soccer etc and learns from her that Mimi has had the top 5 Soccer coaches to train her before. Benny’s parents have always wanted Benny to get married and looked out for many girls, even giving him a drawings to have a look at. Benny doesn’t seem interested but the book was there so he started flipping through it. He asks Selena to help him out and she selects a few to recommend by he always had something to say back ^^; Selena said he was hard to plese, so instead asked him what kind of girls he liked and he started drawing his ideal girl…

Such a shock to Selena and Benny when they realised the girl he drew looked like her XD Makes me wonder if he did it on purpose? It didn’t look like it though~ Selena gets embarrassied “Why did you draw me??” Benny teases her that her face was turning red, and that if she was a girl, she would look really pretty.

Selena wants to head back but Benny didn’t want her to go and help Mimi with the writing again so asks her to stay and drink some wine with him if ‘he’ was his friend. Eventually, Benny gets drunk while Selena stayed conscious because she kept tipping the wine out of the window when he wasn’t looking.

Benny’s parents think that Selena and Mimi are actually gay men because they close the doors together in the same room while taking a bath.Because Benny and Selena get a long really well and they also find the picture Benny drew in his room (Selena as a girl) and they get really concerned!! They send Benny off visit some other rich family in hope for him to marry their girl.

*Because Steven kept begging Yuen Wah to change his life, Yuen Wah shows him the dangers to it. Be careful what you wish for! When you get something, you will lose something. Steven says he wants to be rich for a day, and following Yuen Wah’s instructions, Steven gambles and wins a lot of money. In the process of running away after some guy was after him, the fight breaks out when Steven runs into Benny, Shirley (is now working for Benny’s family) and the other servants who were on their way to the rich family. Everything gets messed up and Shirley gets pushed into the river. Steven attempted to save her but he couldn’t swim so started throwing away the anitques /gifts etc down the river in hope Shirley can grab hold of them, except they sunk (obviously since they were so heavy). Shirley managed to get up herself, and she accused him of attempting to kill her off in the process. The antiques etc were really expensive and he was unable to repay Benny (even with the money he won). They threatened to take him to court but Steven challenges him to a bet~ like a flip a coin heads/tails thing. If he won, Benny has to set him free; if he loses, he would sell himself to work for Benny.Benny spot him cheating when two coins fell out when he flipped it~ so Steven now has to work for Benny xD I felt sorry for Steven ..its so slack how they pick on him like that ~ and the trick failed on him too..pity him.

*On the side note, we learn that the Rabbit thing actually belongs to Shirley (and not her friend) who gave it to her friend when she was young. She hates her father them, and now suspecting  Yuen Wah is her father. In an incident in the past, Shirley’s mother (played by Rebecca) tried to save her, but gets drowned away in the process… I hope she’s still alive..

Yoyo appears in this episode along with Linda who are friends of Fala. More of the family relationships are revealed..Moses is only Ha Yu’s adopted son who found him when he was a baby where someone left him in the Public Toilet; yet they treat him so well ^^
Moses acts quite cute, he reminds me of Charmaine’s character from Glittering Days (before she becomes popular) The recording/making of the video featuring Moses and Bosco was quite funny. At first, I couldn’t quite figure what the video was for. First, I thought it was Bosco’s hobby in making video clips, then I thought he was making a promotional clip to advertise Moses to girls..then I thought he was advertising for their store..and lastly as revealed, in attempt to find his real parents. I liked watching the 4 siblings interact and when Fala are with her friends. We also see that Yoyo doesn’t mind being with guys younger than her (*hint* hint* Raymond) while Fala seems like the naive, simple minded view about love who has a crush on Eddie Lee who plays a sales staff at the shoe shop. I’m not sure who their other friend is; I haven’t seen her before…

I liked the talk Ha Yu’s first wife gave the other lady who lost the court case. Hope they won’t have anymore anger towards their family now. Seeing that Susanna was upset about the things the lady and her son said about her (about being the 2nd wife and barging in their family), HaYu’s first wife tries to cheer Susanna up and giving her more things, like letting her take her place to the annual dinner for their business.. The more ‘power’ they gives to her, the more ‘power’ she loses..

Its only the 2nd episode and I already want to see Raymond lol I can’t wait..hehe~ I also want to see more of Bosco but I guess we’ll see more of them later on when things get more serious. For now, I guess I’ll just enjoy watching the great family where everyone cares for each other~ I’d be sad to see it get torn apart..

At the Kingdom, the two play dress-up.

Selena and Mimi appear in this episode! ^^ Mimi is fun to watch xD She plays the aggressive Princess and Selena is her clever servant. I really like Selena here..(must be from liking her previously in Face to Fate ^^) Because of Mimi’s behaviour, the King arranged a marriage for her and she refuses to because she knows that her father just wants someone to be able to handle her. So like the usual, Mimi and Selena sneak out of the Kingdom, disguising as guys. I always find it odd how people can’t tell whether they are a guy or girl, simply because what they wear XD Both of them seem to be able to defend themselves, but they are bound to cause trouble for themselves.

Steven and his master (Yeun Wah- I think he’s finally accepted Steven, or tired to stop him from calling him ‘Si Fu’) hand around an Inn, but don’t have money to pay. In return, Steven shows off what Yeun Wah has previous told him about in predicting things and looking at ‘FengSui’. Selena and Mimi arrive at the Inn, and Steven notices the large amount of money Mimi gave the worker. He deliberately flicks food on her clothes and she has a major reaction and Selena tries to remind the Princess they have to keep it low..

haha..this part is funny..Mimi just pushes Benny aside and it seemed to hurt him too~ What a strong woman lol It was like he was asking for it.

The two wander around and come by the “Yan Yuen” Tree and they got really amused, wanting to give it a go because they haven’t heard of such thing before. When they were about to buy the thing they throw, Benny comes in, saying he’s going to buy all of them so they can’t have it. Mimi and Benny end up bidding over the stuff . While Mimi was bidding up by 10s, Benny would add an extra 1. At the end Benny gets it it for 101 (What a total rip off !! I think it was worth it for him though~) Selena laughs andsays how silly he was to buy it for so much and the two leave. Benny gets angry and throws a stone at them, but Mimi kicks it back and it hits him on the face XD

[The Princess tries out her love-fortune with the ‘Fortune Teller Steven]

Steven tricks Mimi in believing she would meet her true love by looking in a bucket of water that night at the highest place in the Inn. It just happens that night that an “accident” (or was it more like unavoidable fate?) occurs around the same place where a man gets killed when Steven and Yeun Wah tried to change that man’s unfortunate destiny. The man ends up falling off the building and stabs an Inscent burner (from Benny’s family business) into himself. The horrified Princess Mimi accidentally drops her golden metal (that holds power from the Kingdom) and she moves away from the Inn with Selena. because the two were the ones missing from the Inn after that night, the Court suspects the two.

Steven and Yeun Wah after getting punished in court for suggesting to the murdered man about creating the forcefield to stop the bad luck. Seen as trying to cause corruption to society. Yeun Wah is sadden by getting involved, it may have made things worse. ‘We weren’t supposed to change destiny..’
[The Investigation]

After realising the Golden Metal was missing, and noticing the smell of the inscent burner, Selena sneaks back to the Inn to investigate. She successfully finds the Golden Metal on the floor (I’m surprised the investigators didn’t find it as a source of evidence for the man’s death) and sees benny who is also investigating, hoping to find the truth. (Benny’s business was blamed because the man was stabbed with their inscent burner).

The two investigate Benny’s business’ Inscent Burners. I think the two look really good together~ I have a soft spot for these two hahah..Eventually they find out that some ingredient was added into their Inscent Burner that add adverse effects~ it wasn’t an accidental death. Someone intended it to happen..

There’s more funny stuff in this episode~Steven is determined to become Yuen Wah’s Disciple, constantly calling him “Si fu” and following him around and doing what he says. Steven’s character is really funny and surely knows how to act quickly! In this episode, Shirley appears and Steven accidentally falls and kisses her. To avoid the situation of getting beaten up, he instantly falls onto the floor and cries and begs for his father not to leave him; pretending to be blind XD He describes Yuen Wah and asks the people whether they have seen him and Yuen eventually plays along and the “father-and-son” reunite in each other’s arms LOL

Benny seems to have the ambition of learning the secrets to the ‘Future Picture’ and suspects that Yuen Wah is the one who the King is looking for: the one who has the real Pictures and predict the future. Allied with Steven, the two end up tricking Yuen Wah into admiting who he really was and ask him to take them both in as their disciples. Makes me wonder how Steven’s character could pretend to fall off the mountain and spit out blood. Yuen Wah ends up tricking them back by acting as a ‘fakeo’, and Benny falls for it.
Yuen Wah sees Shirley with her friends, one in which has the same piece of stone/jade(?) as the one given to his long-lost daughter when she was still a baby, so he suspects that she is his daughter. I have a feeling it isn’t her; more like Shirley. I mean, the other girl doesn’t even appear in the opening themevideo so she shouldn’t have much significance~ Either way, Yuen Wah thinking that she is his daughter, is heartbroken to hear that she hates her father and the reason for her mother to pass away was also because of him..

Steven getting beaten numerous times through the episode, and hung up again at the city by Benny. Steven gets really angry because of the way his life is written out. Why did he have to be an orphan? Why is his life so hard? (compared to Benny who has parents and lives wealthy) He realises he and Benny are born at the same day and time..but why are their lives so different? He is determined to change his destiny..

The themevideo looks kind of short..or maybe its just because I didn’t capture every moment (like the ones with the bits of action), but this has definetly used less scenes than [Heart of Greed]^^;

I feel a bit overwhelmed just watching the first episode in how draggy the story might turn out. Can I survive watching 40 episodes of this?

I liked how they put what happens’ 5 years later’ at the start so there’s something which brings out how dramatic and serious the story will turn out to be. Lok Yiand Susanna play Mother and son again ^^ (Like in Glittering days)..but for some odd reason, she slaps him in the preview..and Bosco is on her side. I’m guessing that Bosco and Lok Yi some got mixed up and that Bosco is really Susanna’s son ! 0_0 It happened so quickly it didn’t really sink in haha, but I won’t rewatch it to clarify =) I’ll just watch on and see~~
So far, I’m really annoyed by Ha Yu’s character and his laughing..don’t really like that guy (similarly disliked his character in When Rules turn Loose). The relationships between the characters are still a bit of a confusion for me but I guess I’ll figure it out eventually when the story goes on.

Moses’ character seems a bit ‘dumb’ , I wonder what happened to him~ He’s quite dopey and funny but when he’s with Ha Yu it gives me the creeps. Linda has made her appearance in ‘5 years later’ and in the present and I have to say I think she looks very pretty ^^ her character seems different from her usuals too.

Michelle’s character is really nice and friendly here, unlike her role in The Brink of Law, but then again, Susanna and everyone else all appear to get along with everyone really well and are genuinely nice to each other. I also liked seeing how the 4 siblings (Moses, Bosco, Lok Yi, Fala) get along and interact~ The whole first episode seemed to be creating a foreshadow, from the spoiler at the beginning and also how Ha Yu keeps mentioning how fortunate his family is that everyone getting along, comparing his family to the family who had a dispute at Court because the 2 wives were fighting over their husband’s wealth/assets. This is bound to happen to their family when he’s not around anymore. How come men have 2 wives anyway? Is that even legal at HK?

As mentioned before, I love the Themesong sung by Susanna Kwan~!
