Joel finds the poison/drugs in a box at the Inscent factory (I’m pretty sure its that traitorous idiot guy working for the bad guys..) and as a result, Benny’s father steps out, holding all the responsibility himself in hope to save his fmily and was put in jail and beaten up.. but Joel doesn’t let them go that easily.
Selena and Benny realise that the evil guy actually tricked Benny to set up a bad luck Feng Sui last time (to see Selena again), with all sorta of poisoness insects and creatures in vases etc… unfortunately they realised too late.
Joel abuses his power closing down Benny’s family business, closing up their home and taking all their assets!! As a result, Benny, Selena and Benny’s mother become homeless and poor.. Over night, they lost everything..he won’t even them a chance to get themselves back up by bribing/forcing people not to employ them or repay debt they previously owed to them so they couldn’t earn any money.
After Benny became poor, everyone was so slack to him..its not he treated them poorly before, but now he’s looked down upon, laughed at and thrown nasty words..
Benny and Selena find the pearl Benny had previously thrown in the pond at his home. They were hoping to sell it to get some money that would last them one month and buy medicine for Benny’s mother who was sick..
Selena was trying to be positive, while Benny and his mother constantly complained about the place. I guess its pretty normal, considering it was such a large change from what they had before..I was hoping that Steven, Yuen Wah and Shirley were here to help them but they were around..
Selena gave Benny’s mother some sweet-potato and told her that Benny should be coming home soon with the money. Benny’s mother who was sick of eating sweet-potato saw Selena nibbling on something outside and immediately assuming she was keeping the nice food for herself..she started yelling at her until she saw that Selena was eating the skin of the Sweet potato she had given her…awww…so touching.. After this incident, Benny’s mother realised what a lovely daughter-in-law Selena was and her attitude towards their poor situation had improved and she became more positive and content..
After selling off the pearl, Benny bumps into those idiots again, and after more listening to more of their nasty words about how he can’t afford to go in and eat etc, Benny gets really angry and to prove them wrong, he takes out the money he got and spends it at the brothel..It is soo not worth it!!! All that money!! Spent it on idioits who again, took advantage of him…
Selena finds Benny at the brothel chasing girls around the room..it must of been such a big disappointment..
On the other hand, we learn that Shirley’s mother has already regained her memories back, and found out that it was the evil guy who had killed her family…she set up a trap and attempted to kill him for revenge, but unfortuntely he found out before hand so she failed to. Shirley, Steven and Yuen Wah manage to save her and the famil reunites! ^^ Unfortunetly, not long, Shirley and Rebecca get captured again when Yuen Wah and Steven manage to escape. Thinking it was the King who was behind the capture, Yuen Wah and Steven sneakingly gets into the palace and appears before him..
