A real sad episode ~it brought me to tears almost throughout the whole thing T__T Lee See Kei’s character dies in this episode..its the third time she started saying her final “goodbye” to her family members and every time she did it would make me all teary. So touching!! I will really miss ‘Dai Kai’!! When she’s around, I just feel the whole Tong family would be safe and sound..everyone would be all happy, no more fights..no more arguments..no Susanna in the house, and Uncle Bor is a nice guy too, Bosco and Tavia get along really well….argh!! Noo..I fear what may happen next!! Learning that Lee See Kei was going to die, Susanna started faking (as usual) in front of everyone, begging her for forgiveness (in hope she can get back into the family after she was gone)..she even convinced Lok Yi to help her beg..She is so annoying! How can she say all those words so easily but not reflect on all those thigns she did wrong?? Seems like it will be Lok Yi’s lie that will cause the whole family to fall apart..I seriously doubt Lee See Kei told him that she forgave Susanna..more like she’ll never let her back in the family. But after she said so, he looked really shocked …I think its something about his life..maybe Susanna isn’t his real mother? Or simply “friends only”.. The things she said in that tape was soo sad too! T___T She also mentioned that Lok Yi never told a lie before…which I think is really a message for the audience that he lied back then in the hospital..
On the other hand, I really hate how Raymond is treating Linda..he’s so cold towards her and spends all his time with Yoyo instead. Linda realises that Raymond had been lying to him when he said he was at home…T___T Why is he being so unfair to her? Why is he all touchy about Moses helping Linda when he’s cheating on her? If he’s so happy with Yoyo, why won’t he break up with Linda?? This is also the first them the Heart of Greed Sub themesong is played in the ending credits~~ sounds soo nice!! They should play it more often..

[All my posts contain spoilers, but this is the ending, so an extra warning message ^__^]

Even though Benny’s plan was revealed, the King could not escape his fate as his brother did end up murdering him and to take over his throne. He shouldn’t have spoke so soon about giving his position to his son which triggered his brother to get rid of him..

The new King demands Shirley and Steven to give up on the Book of Destiny and hand it over; using the workers at Benny’s Inscent Business as hostage. Shirley and Steven asks the King to give them time because they don’t know where the Book of Destiny really is…

Benny still does not learn his lesson and upon hearing that the King did pass away, he continues to believe he is destined to become king. Benny goes insane to the sense he run wilds telling everyone he will become king. He ends up digging up peoples’ graves who have a certain surname, burning them into ashes and hopes to bury them under his mother’s corpse. This would increase his chances? In the process when Selena, Steven and Shirley try to stop him, Shirley gets captured.

In attempt to lure Benny out, Steven pretends to have burnt Benny’s mother into ashes and put them in a bottle in exchange for telling him where Shirley was. Benny falls for the trap where Steven and Selena had set up, capturing Benny (and Mimi in the process).

The crazy Benny still would not tell where Shirley was unless Steven brought the King’s head to him… Steven ended up making a deal with the King, in making Benny believe he became the king when he woke up. His planned seems to work!

This part was light-hearted..(this is also where we see in the opening where Benny is wearing the emperor’s clothing) he was really happy and telling Selena how he promised to make her his Queen. Steven was trying to convince Benny to free Shirley but he said after he deals with the matters in the Book of Destiny and he leads Steven to where he had hidden it, handing the Book to him. Sorta weird how they left, changing back to their usual clothing. However, the King didn’t keep his words and attempted to kill them both off after Steven got back the Book of Destiny. Luckily Selena came and saved him both.

From the hints from Benny, Steven finds Shirley captured at Benny’s Inscent Business. The King finds the two and they surrender the Book of Destiny in exchange for letting the two live. Shirley thought it was a shame they couldn’t protect the Book of Destiny, but Steven assures her that it’s the right decision.
At the end, Benny and Mimi have gone insane..they forgot everything (except Benny still remembers the Book of Destiny) and Selena looks after them both.

On the other hand, Shirley and Steven live happily ever after~~The ending looked funny and strange~~ having Steven and Shirley play their grandchildren!! XD They act similar too hahaha..the last part is priceless..I wonder what they must be feeling when their grandchildren brought them the Book of Destiny as their present? XD

I wasn’t too satisfied with Benny and the princess gone crazy..at least now they lost their memories (well, sorta) and can continue to live a happy life. This reminded me of the Demi Gods and Semi Devils 96 with the guy gone crazy though..maybe they could have came up with something else?

Raymond is starting to get bored of Linda. At first I thought when Linda was on the phone, she shouldn’t have kept nagging Raymond to spend time with her on the phone since he was really busy..but when Yoyo called, he instantly smiled and talked to her with no hesitation..even going out to meet her..what is he doing?? Does Yoyo know what she is doing?? When Yoyo gave him food to pick from, he was saying he wants them all, doesn’t want to pick one.

Before, Linda asked Raymond to come and meet up with her at his new home (which is under renovation) but Raymond didn’t want to, but when Yoyo asked, he took her there…Can’t believe Yoyo painted those words on the wall!!! And when she covered it up Raymond seemed sad too …

There were other hints about Raymond two-timing and wanting two of them..In celebrating Raymond’s new home, they started making jokes and Linda was asked to record a message for their answering machine, and Linda asks as a joke whether Raymond was seeing someone else..

Seeing that Yoyo was suffering, Raymond calls Yoyo out tells her that they should stop seeing each other because that would be unfair to her…but it didn’t end up that way..the two officially started their affair…I can’t believe Yoyo! What kind of women is she?? And Raymond! Someone who can’t resist temptation ..Yoyo openly admits that this isn’t the first time being the third party in the relationship. She was a third party to a couple who were married for 8 years o.0!! Now she’s trying to take her best friend’s boyfriend..aiya…you can’t always trust your best friend, can you?

On the other hand, because of Susanna and Uncle Bor messing with things, spreading lies… it almost lead to Tavia and Bosco getting a divorce! I felt really sorry for Tavia..and how Bosco didn’t trust her! I don’t think Tavia did anything wrong~~ what other reaction can she give to be accused for seeing Ronald (her ex-husband) and then the photos! Fake photos/events that never even happened, and was asked to explain herself! Then she was told those photos were from Ha Yu!

The last part was so touching~~*tears* all those words ‘Dai Kai’ said to the two brought the two back together! I really like Lee See Kei’s character..she seems to be able to win everyone’s heart, including Jackie (Tavia) And the audience ^^ I liked what Dai Kai had to say to Tavia’s mother as well! Perfect words to keep her quiet!

I wish Yoyo would stop going in between them..how can she betray her own best friend?? I really hated that attitude of hers when she was listening to Linda’s worries about Raymond’s court case. She then convinces Linda to go when she knew really well that Raymond did not want anyone watching him in court. I’m just so glad that Raymond didn’t go see Yoyo that night where she was waiting at the park…

All done with no speech…Linda appears on the night of Raymond’s birthday, waiting for him outside his home..She plays ‘Vincent’ with the saxophone..Raymond is moved and touched! They just seemed to understand each other ^^ No need to exchange any words…

I feel so tired…XD Today I saw Raymond ^^, Shirley and Yoyo at the JadeWorld Carnival 2007 at Belmore Park and posted up photos taken! I have to say I didn’t really enjoy the day because the wait for them to come on stage was toooo long. The event was from 11am-4pm, but they didn’t come on stage until 3:20pm -__- and out of all the 11 stars who came..Raymond was last to appear! I bet they did it on purpose to keep everyone anticipating I really wasn’t interested in those other non-HK TVBJ people (except Joey Leung) – don’t even know who they were…and most of them spoke in mandarin…it got really annoying actually.. Pretty much everyone there, was there for Raymond Lam and it makes me wonder how much people would come today if he didn’t ^^; Every time Raymond stepped out everyone would scream (don’t think anyone was interested on what was happening on stage hehe), but I could only see his back (as you can see in the photos)They were also really far away and I felt the bars could have been way closer =\ I was quite disappointed actually.
Joey Leung was really funny and I thought he did pretty well with the singing (with no music) and he was able to engage the audience quite well~ Yoyo sang one song (first time hearing her singing~~) while Shirley sang two (she sounded a bit different from her usual). Shirley seemed to be the really happy cheerful one and she even came down from her stage to give handshakes to the audience! I didn’t manage to take a photo when she was so close, but instead ended up touching her arm XD her skin was sorta dry and lumpy (goosebumps?) 0 o.0 not what I had expected ..but anyways XD That was nice of her to come down ^^ I was really excited to see Raymond =D and his singing was soooo nice as always xD It makes you want to melt hehehe…He sung the Sub themesong of Heart Of Greed (singing Linda Chung’s lines as well ^^) and Survivor’s Law Themesong “Remember to forget“…ah….soo nice!! XD

I didn’t take any video clips (because I was taking photos instead hehe), and I’m assuming they’ll have the event airred again soon on TVBJ (like they did of last year with Angela Tong and Bowie Lam when they came). Nevertheless, someone did on youtube ^^:

Benny ends up bringing his father to the King’s ancestor’s grave and locks him in the coffin alive (what a freaky thought =__=) as he believes this would help him become King (putting the corpse over that of the ancestors; like what the evil fortunate teller was trying to do). He’s too selfish and heartless…He continues his own interpretation of the Book of Destiny and believes that on a certain day, the King will be killed. He sets things up between the King and his brother to stir things up between them in making the two kill each other off. We learn that Steven saved Shirley later after burying her (giving her some tube to breathe) and the two attempt to scare Benny in hope find out whether Benny had the Book of Destiny. However, Benny doesn’t get fooled and captures the two along with Selena. I just feels like a waste that Steven gets revealed now after working for Benny so long and didn’t really gain much from it. The three did manage to escape just in time and reported to the King Benny’s plan on the night of his ‘destined death’ (when the King’s brother really did grab the axe and want to kill off the king). Benny’s plans get revealed, and when he’s about to get captured , the Princess appears and Selena ends up saving him..

Raymond and Linda have an argument again, and this time they break up. Just watching 2 episodes of them two together so far and there’s already so much problems between them…maybe they really don’t match? I just feel that Linda gets upset too easily and should be more understandable at times..especially that part where Linda was over at Raymond’s place working, while she was there disturbing him. More problem arises when Linda’s brother returns and Raymond tells her not to lend her brother anymore money, because he would never change and doesn’t want her to be fooled by him again. Linda tells believe he has changed and once again Raymond calls her ‘dumb’. Linda doesn’t want to lend money for her brother, but her brother pretty much forces her to or he’ll drag their father to borrow off loan sharks. Once again, she is faced with the large debt but luckily Moses there to give her unconditional support and lends her more money. After many failures to learn to play the Saxophone, she learns that moses knows how to play and asks Moses to teach her.. Raymond finds out that Linda did end up borrowing money and then asking Moses to help her rather than to call him.

On the other hand, I feel sad seeing Lee Si Kei going to hospital for treatment..her condition just looks worse and worse..
