Official Synopsis
At court, two of the most famous lawyers in town YU YING-WAI (Wayne Lai) and LEE MING-YEUNG (Moses Chan) conduct tit-for-tat attacks on each other by any means necessary.
YING-WAI eventually turns the tide before he is defeated, however, he almost loses his life in the process, which completely alters his perspective on life. Such change catches a Senior Counsel LO SUM-PO’s (Yueh Hua) eye, and he recruits YING-WAI to handle a litigation regarding the will of a late tycoon. MING-YEUNG has to return to his mentor SHUM YIK-WO’s (Chung King Fai) law firm because he is now debt-ridden. As soon as he gets there, he starts cooperating with his mentor’s daughter SHUM YUET-KAN (Fala Chen). For many years, YUET-KAN has been dating SONG KA-YIU (Vincent Wong), a scion of a wealthy family. KA-YIU, who craves for greatness and success, is in fact a complacent person, making it easy for MING-YEUNG to take advantage of. When the litigation gets underway, the trial judge turns out to be YING-WAI’s ex-wife as well as MING-YEUNG’s old flame LUK SZE-YING (Christine Ng). Once again going head-to-head at court, the two gradually discover there is something else going on in the case. To their surprise, the key man maintains a vital connection with YING-WAI’s protégé CHING KA-MING (Jason Chan). Thus begins a life-or-death turmoil in the law firm……

Will probably watch for Christine! 😀
I started watching this series because Sniper Standoff finished and well……it was an anniversary series . It also had Wayne in it so I thought I’d give it a shot. (Wouldn’t watch Bullet Brain though!)
The first 2 episodes were surprisingly witty with its court case- and kind of funny, yet at the same time slightly cringworthy watching both Wayne and Moses’ characters lol Haven’t seen Wayne in this type of role in awhile (started to sterotype him in all the Rosy Business/No Regrets type).
I actually think the actor whose character who died in episode looked liek Elliot Yue/Ngo Wah LOL
Will continnue to see what’s to unfold. I’m hoping Moses and Wayne will eventually become friends
This series looks interesting to watch! Great casting as well: Christine,Wayne and Moses:)
If you can help, would like to know the title of the English song played on episode 3 of Will Power, that goes like this, “once upon a time a girl was chasing rainbows….”
Just finished watching up to episode 9 and I’m quite enjoying the court scenes. So far, just the court scenes XD I find the arguements quite interesting. I of course root for Wayne ^^
I really don’t like Fala’s look here. She looks weird with Myolie hair style!
Not sure why quite a number of ppl dont like Fala’s short hair, but i think she looks fresh and good. In terms of likability, her character as Eugene is better than Holiday in TITS2. However, still not much breakthrough in her role though.
Yes, agree the court scenes are real good and the chemistry between Wayne and Moses was great!! Wayne is good!!!!
hello should i watch this or brothers keeper?
I haven’t seen Brother’s Keepers so..not sure what to tell you. Depends what kind of drama you like I guess!
@ ktvb basically i dont like series which are boring and dragging storylines.
might wtach will power.i like comedy but may give brothers keeper a miss. tbh tvb has been medicore this year. probally watch agents of shield, the black list and may watch korean drama 2 weeks and good doctor.
I think you should watch Brother’s Keeper, coz the storyline is much much better than this, and in terms of story content BK is better than WP. So yeah. But WP has a rape scene in it, and plus if you like lawyer shows than maybe this is better, but of course the best TVB law show wd be Ghetto Justice:):)
Just finished watching episode 13 and I think I can say I’m officially hooked on this series. The court cases are pretty interesting. I’m also starting to think Sire and Jason are pretty cute together.
The best scenes are definately Wayne and Moses. I love the chemistry they have, especially the episode where Moses deliberately told Wayne what he was going to do, and Wayne helped create a win-win situation.
I love watching scenes when Moses and Wayne are both mature and serious ^^
Still not used to Fala’s hair..other than that, nothing really stands out so far. Her legal court skills don’t seem up to scratch either, especially watching her first one. Jason’s character is surprisngly witty and clever. It seems he is ahead of Fala by miles!
Can’t wait to find out from Samantha Ko’s case what her true intentions were of marrying the old man
totally. I seriously agree with u, and I think Fala Chen is best with long hair, but short hair(close too shoulder length) in Lives of Omission(Jodie) looks nice on her too, but this kind of Aimee Chan doesn’t really suit her style, not that pretty:):)
does power chan play 2 characters in this?
Hmm from what I’ve seen so far he plays one character
Will Power has great cast, story n execution! Interesting conversion….definitely worth watching!
I agree with Sammbnie -I thoroughly enjoy watching this series and can’t wait to see the finale next week! It’s really engaging and clever~
I hope WAYNE will win the 2013 TVB Anniversary My Most Favourite Male Actor Award for his role in Awill Power.:):):) No matter what, he is already the best actor in my heart.
I watched the final parts of the series and I quite pitied Highlight. He lost his own property. Why not the producers produce a sequel similar to the 2011 TVB drama Lives of Omission, which is my top favourite? But overall, the final episodes were quite good.
I sincerely look forward to a reply. Thank you.
