Official Synopsis

Kiu Ching Kiu almost gets involved in the triads and being caught in the rob case in his youth, fortunately, the staff Ting Ho Ho portrayed by Josie Ho decided to forgive him. Kiu became CSD officer later in life. When Kiu learnt about the miserable fate of Ho, he could not help to assist her and their friendship slowly progresses to a romantic one. After releasing, Ho pays lots of efforts to integrate with the community under the assistance of CSD Rehabilitation Division staff Yung Wai Chun (Kenny Wong) and Chi Chun Kwong (Tracy Chu), could Ho be able to insist her kindness and willingness to reintegrate community successfully? CSD officers are faced with new challenges every day, Sing and his colleagues come across a life-threatening situation. Will they be able to complete their mission and resolve the crisis?


懲教處高級懲教主任文上升(吳啟華)隸屬赤柱監獄，負責監督囚犯的紀律，天天與囚犯交鋒，步步為營，壓力沉重，但下屬喬正橋(王浩信)卻經常違反守則，與囚犯交往頻繁，甚至發生戀情，與上升頻生摩擦。任職於羅湖懲教所的姚愛嘉(徐子珊)與上升相識多年，年齡相差十多歲卻大膽向他示愛，上升斷言拒絕，身兼好友及同事隸屬更生事務組的翁偉晉(黃德斌)，看穿上升只因婚姻失敗，以照顧妹妹文上游(黃心穎)為藉口，刻意逃避感情問題，但偉晉自身亦受家庭問題煩惱不已，幸得上升前妻葉雅蕾(梁琤)和同事遲春光(朱千雪)兩位紅顏知己；囚房內外千迴百折的考驗，經常發生外人難以理解的複雜故事，一場即將爆發的大騷動，更令上升等人性命瀕危，他們最終能否排除萬難，完成使命？

    I liked 2 couples – Lawrence with Kate and Kenny with Tracy. Kenny looked so funny and romantic with Tracy. I wish there were more romantic scenes between Kenny and Tracy. I’ve never seen Kenny in romantic roles. As for Lawrence, I loved him very much. He was so caring, protective, romantic and understanding. He was soft and yet so tough as a man. I also liked the chemistry between the brother and sister who were jailed for killing their step-father. The only storyline I didn’t like was of Vincent and Josie. It would have been better if they only remained as friends. It looked odd to see Josie as a much older woman marrying Vincent. Nevertheless, Vincent was good with his role. What I’m most happy about is that, it was a happy ending with the couples being together. I was only confused about Jade’s theory of life. She ends up in jail at the end. A very good series.
